I have several back of the box recipes in our rotation. From the Bisquick box, Quiche Lorraine, Chicken Fingers & Pancakes & several more. I have several Bisquick cookbooks too. Keep on trying new recipes. Like the saying goes, variety is the spice of life!

How can you go wrong with mac and cheese and chocolate chip cookies? Those chicken tenders look so good; I tried to find them on my Walmart app but they aren’t there. I’ll check inside the store because some things don’t show up on the app. I love how your hubby is patting himself on the back about the packed brown sugar. It was perfection, lol. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Sometimes I put in lots of chocolate chips like you did. And sometimes I keep some to the side to just put right on the top of scoops of cookie dough. It looks so full of chocolate chips when I do that!

Even simple things like a bag of green beans and a bag of collard greens have great recipes on them. Or at least cooking methods. The best green beans I’ve ever had were made based on the cooking directions on the back of the Publix, green bean bag. And collard greens. It suggested steaming them and putting a lemon vinaigrette over them and it is so delicious.

Thanks for the recipes! And for telling about your Gma’s boyfriend’s practical gifts, loved that story! 🥰. That’s the kind of stuff we remember from younger days.

I find cookies turn out better if you sub out shortening for the butter, you get crispy outside and chewy inside. And that's hard for me lol because I love butter, but trust me shortening in cookies makes them perfect!

By the way, if you spray your scoops, inside & out, with spray oil your scoopings will come right out. By the way does anyone have a recipe for watermelon rind preserves? My mom passed away & her recipe box mysteriously disappeared. Homemade ice cream, fried squash fritters, preserves & so much more from her, my grandma & great grandma too. All gone. I like that ya'll have fun filming, it makes for a fun video. 😊👍

Package recipes have always worked out good for me. I have saved one that I use over and over. The only problem with an older recipe is they have changed the package size and it doesn't work out. Makes me mad 😠

I think it is way better. I rarely buy anything else. Sometimes you can catch it on sale and I’ll try to buy a couple!

I'm from Canada and here, it's called Kraft Dinner and for easy and cheap, it's pretty tasty. But I recently bought Kraft mac and cheese from the states and let me tell you.... it was gross! I ate some for lunch and put the rest in the fridge for the next day. I reheated it the next day for lunch and it literally tasted like the box. I had to throw it out. Crazy how it can be the "same" thing but not taste the same.

Now u have to make another batch of cookies because all the ones u froze have walnuts in them....that leaves out the kid who didn't want walnuts....lol. I only had 1 kid and he didn't like nuts in brownies or cookies and I'd have to make a separate batch for him
