If you want even more insane Rhynios, use super mutated Brontos with 254 in every stat When i was testing with a Bronto that had 254 points in all stats, after getting all 5 cravings it asked for, The baby Rhynio had 5 stats that had 254 points. This happened twice. AA Brachiosaurus & Megachelon, despite having more drag than bronto only gave two stats 254 points. The Last Giga test i did only gave 4 stats 254 points. Brontos also have more drag weight than carchs/gigas

It actually does matter which creature size you use. I've done some testing and it seems the size of the creature actually matters. So for instance, an impregnated rex won't give as many levels as an impregnated giga or carcha. If you enable the extra information hud (usually h but idk what your keybinds are), you can see all the different factors that play into the level you're gonna get when looking at the impregnated dino.

So, someone actually made a guide for this! I only included the part that you've been trying to figure out in the video, but it gives a clear idea of what is needed! --- There are three factors that further effect the level of the baby that comes out. - Egg Quality: Depends on the level of the Rhynio that impregnated your creature. A max level is required for 100%. - Host Size: Depends on the drag-weight of the creature used. > [Creatures that confirmed get 100% host size:] > - Bronto. (Easiest to tame, breed and mutate.) > - Giganoto. > - Carcha. > - Megachelon. > - NOTE: Aquatics, Voidwyrm and Astrocetus cannot be fed pheromones. - Craving Satisfaction: Depends on you feeding the impregnated creature things it wants to eat. - Host will require five cravings to be fully satisfied, time between cravings is effected by egg hatch speed. - Craving foods can be given to a host by simply pressing the basic interaction button (E on keyboard, Y on Xbox etc) if desired food is in your inventory. If this is overridden by anything, the radial menu can be used instead. > [Confirmed potential cravings:] > - Eggs (Quetz, Giga, Carcha, Golden Hesper). > - Other Consumables (Kibbles, Veggie Cakes, Bee Honey, Soups, Battle Tartare, Shadow Steak Saute.) > - Creature Resources (Achatina Paste, Ammonite Bile, Rhino Horns.) > - Other Resources (Absorbent Substrate, Black Pearls, Gasoline, Element.) If all of these are 100%, the baby will inherit all the base stats of the host used (This includes levels from mutations). Babies will inherit a mix of colors from the wild Rhynio and the host creature. --- Hopefully this helps! From what I understand, in short - use one of those huge creatures mentioned in the guide (you've been using carchar which is perfect) and since you found a max level female, keep using that! Getting a max level female, good host creature, and satisfying all the cravings will give you an insane Rhynio as a result! edit: the creator of the guide (Emperor Tethys) made a comment to add in some information! The Rhynio babies can request all soups and similar cooked foods, and it seems that they might also be able to request organic polymer! All tek and unbreedable creatures can't be given pheromones/used as hosts, and from what it seems like so far, creatures below a certain drag weight can't be used either (but the limit as of rn isn't fully determined) - I believe this is also backed up by some of the creatures you tried using in the video not working, such as Thyla! but since a shadowmane worked maybe comparing the two's drag weights will be helpful for figuring out what that limit is!

Hello, the one who made the guide here! Just wanna note they can request all the soups and similar cooked foods, and I've been told they can take organic poly too. Additionally, all tek and unbreedable creatures in general cannot be given pheromones and thus cannot be used as hosts. Seems creatures below a certain drag weight limit also cannot be used, will have to determine what said limit is.

I really like this unique way to tame it, in my opinion sacrificing your creatures is better than getting all the best stats the normal way (tons of breeding to get max mutations) when you can just take one of your already maxed creatures, sacrifice, and you immediately have a maxed rhynio. I'm glad to see wildcard is still putting effort into creating good creatures and making the game better when ASA is right around the corner.

It can fly, hover, walk on water, swim, fear roar, taunt, get a shield, shoot 3 different tpyes of projectiles, pick up even bloody rexes and other large dinos that you shouldn't, replace structures... bro if that is not broken as fuck for you, then I don't know what. It's just plain stupid.

@@Nighthunter6666 its fine if they nerf the pvp abilies and make it do less damage against enemy players/tames/structues and in turn make it take more damage from those sources as well. i just dont want them going "all stats reduced by 50%, all wild level gains reduced by 50%, all level up gains reduced by 50%, health -600 and melee -80% on tame" or taking away its abilies to get mutations via host dinos, cause im not moving structures in at my base, i got cryopods to transport creatures, and i have never really cared for fear roars. if its stats get nerfed to garbage then it going to be useless for me and many others and the creature is one i rather want to use. big bugs are neat.

I think the drag weight affects the amount of stats that are able to be transferred towards the offspring from the surrogate parent, which explains why the carch’s provided much higher stats from their mutations despite the shadowmanes also having maxed out mutations. If you had a carch with all their stats maxed out then it’s likely that a baby from that parent would have maxed out babies in all stats. The stats probably come from the base stats without any levels but does include mutations.

That’s crazy with the stats pulling from the parents! This is definitely the new best flyer

The one time I can watch a Syntac video when it’s released is when I’ve been awake since 3:30am (now 5:00am) cause it’s that time of the month and I can’t sleep (apologies for over sharing but I’m so excited to be here at release time!!)

Can a tamed Titanosaur eat the pheromone? Space whale? With Soul Balls, you can easily trap and move Titans from Extinction to a map with Rhynios as well. With S+ and Soul Balls you can breed both Titans and Space Whales. The latter can be mutated with S+ quite easily for a quick 254-all-stat creature rocking max weight.

@@bigguyguard my rhyniognatha is doing 75 damage with needle attack as well and it has a lot less melee so I think it doesn't scale

It seems like it can inherit stats from the host, but there is a multiplier. So Gigas it can inherit 100% of a stat, whereas trike it was something lower, like 40% I think. So if the Trike has 100 levels on health, the resulting Rhynio won't get more than 40ish for an inherited health stat. The general gist is that bigger hosts are better, and high level Gigas aren't hard to come by for an established tribe. I doubt it works on Titanos, Titans, or probably various other tames like aquatic or mechanical stuff

I tried a Titan and it wouldn’t eat the pheromone to start it, because the titanosaurs don’t eat anything after being tamed. I wonder if extinction titans would work though

You had half of a max level (the lvl 90) and got half of your Carch's stats, you got a max lvl (180) and got exactly your Carch's stats. The wild level seems to also affect how much of the stats are pulled. Maybe try finding another high level that's not a 180 and see if it gives you close to your Carch's max stats but not quite there

Super interesting video! The hatching of the Rhynios might be like breeding? Two parents and the stats seem pretty random. To narrow down on that, having 5-10 of different dinos with similar if not the same stats would help determine if it's random or not. Only one or two of each doesn't really help determine anything. My PC is down right now so I can't really look for myself.

The way to go is to spawn a Dino like a catch with 100 points in each stat and a rhynio with 10points in each stat and then compare the baby stats with all 6 different craving satisfactions (0/20/460/80/100) and comparing what stats pulled and by how much percentage wise. Then running again for the flip so low carcha high rhynio Then again for a smaller creature like a rex

If drag weight does affect it and if it can impregnate water creatures a basilo has the highest drag weight at 12k. If it can't impregnate water creatures then a megachelon can go on land at a drag weight of 4k I think. Would basically have to find the list of highest drag weight to lowest and go down from the top.

I tried it with my Mosa, but it doesn't look like it works. I simply can't make the Mosa eat the pheromone.

They really made it an Alien like creature, getting similar characteristics from its host

I never thought Syntac would be one of those KZreadrs to get involved in sex scandals, but here he is trapping and sexually exploiting this poor rhyniognatha, free rhyni

i think the bigger the dino the higher value stat it gets from that host dino. Total Stat gained = Host 's stat * Host Size / 100. so with a carcha which is considered high tier dino u can get the full stat from it after doing it multiple times .

There's a guide saying the higher the drag weight the better stats it can obtain... For example an ultra maxed mutation bronto with all 254 stats... A rhynio can get atleast 5, 254 stats from it.

All giga rex and carcha give 100% host size to the baby so exact comparisons is like comparing a stat roll on a dice. A 255 on all stat giga Vs bronto Vs carcha will all give the same 255 points to a baby, it's not like it gives the 30k hp or the 1600 melee stat value but the stat points itself

From what u show in this Video, i think the level of the Baby is influenced by the stats/Level of the Host and the Rhynio, how many cravings u manange to do and the size (drag weight) of the Host. Carchas have high drag weight, so the Baby is able to get the full stats. The Shadowmanes have much less drag weight so the Baby can only get like a piece of the stats. With the Level 90 Rhynio u got like have of the stat points of the Carcha, with the lvl 180 the complete stat points so with a max lvl Rhynio u can get 100% of the stat Points that are available with the drag weight of the Host, if you get all the cravings. And it seems to be also kinda random if the Baby gehts the stats of the Host or the Rhynio, so if u have a creature with max points in every stat, u can still have bad luck and get some of the stats of the Rhynio. I hope that makes sense. Its just a theory but it makes sense to me. This is purly besed of this Video, i couldn test it my self yet.

Some fun facts I found out syn, if you pay attention to the cravings there's always only a certain amount. It doesn't count as necessarily an imprint but each craving feed it receives a percentage of the BASE stats on the animal relative to the size of the creature impregnated. From what I learned. I could be wrong. They still get shocked by cnidaria and they latch to walls like a desmodus

I used a longer trap with a behe in the middle as an air lock so you can keep the rhynio trapped while you free the impregnated one, used about 10 hehe gates places probably way to close together

It’s funny that this thing has so many abilities that they had to tell you the buttons to press on the left

From what able to tell from my testing and yours is that the craving item or rarity dont matter but the size, lvl of both parents, and getting all the cravings. The reason from what i say on the lvl of both parents is because the lvl of the bug determines the amount of traits it inherited too

great informative video, the only thing you forgot was the tank mode it has when use one of his abilities and it get cover in a hard coating , with this the dmg it receives is almost half the dmg that without it

In regards to them being all male, I wouldn't be surprised if Wild Card implemented same code and framework used for the Reapers for the Rhyniognatha. This saves them dev time but also balances out the creature as they would likely become a dominant force in pvp, If they had mate boost and were easily replaceable via breeding. They are already quite versatile and strong considering it's a fast, multi-seated flyer that can operate in the Air, on land, on water, and submerged under water. It's has quite the variety of aerial attacks and can pick large creatures and move structures. Haven't felt this hyped about creature since the Shadowmane release. On side the plus side of this is if you've been working on a line for large creatures, you pretty much granted you find yourself in the right circumstances get an amazing Rhyniognatha right away.
