These 1 week experiments are super entertaining but I feel like 1 week typically isn't enough time to notice the benefits. It'd be cool to see you do 1 month experiments where you don't go so intense and stretch it out. It'd probably more accurately show how beneficial each experiment is. Love these videos

Exactly. It's almost certainly the case that any sort of change he noticed in his face was due to his cut. Pretty much all of his one week videos, though entertaining, won't actually tell you anything more than how it feels to start whatever sort of training/diet/activity he's doing. That is valuable in its own way, but isn't really showing you what RESULTS you might expect from following through on it for a longer period of time.

You should do a video on which experimental practices you have incorporated into your weekly regimen. In other words, which experimental practices were of the highest value and were worth continuing in some form after the experiment? Perhaps give us a top 3 or top 5 list?
Can you do this for a month, and then do the before and after again?

Keep it up mate! Love the 1 week videos
Bro you are so awesome, you take the time to debunk myths
I appreciate that you let us know that you were also dieting at the time of these exercises so that we don’t get any misconceptions!
Lucas! It's been a minute since the algorithm pushed your vids on my feed. Didn't know your channel blew up like that. Congrats on almost 3 mil! 🙌
Could you do a step challenge 20k steps per day? You could purchase a desk walking pad, so you can walk and work at the same time. Would be a cool challenge imho.
I love the skit part in this!! It's like a little throwback to your old brother videos, without being distracting for the purpose of this video. :"D
I love how easy the 1 week challenges can be placed as a 'placebo' effect towards his body appearance, yet with every new video that's roughly 3 weeks after each video, (at least that's what I assume) I still see more of a result from prior experiments. Like with this one, it looks like after one week(if he never mentioned the cutting diet for his toned summer bod) then it'd look to me as more of the 'newbie gains' that most beginners see within a month or less of initially working out. However, I'm no expert in any of the above mentioned fields so I could just be wrong, but yeah, I'm just staying focused on my opinion like the next awesome experiment 🤷♂️
Ive been using these once a week along with some neck exercises. There is indeed a difference when your muscles get pumped, but when the pump is gone, it goes back to normal. The jaw would remain "pumped" for a day or two, but after that you get back to the old you. I am about 6 weeks into this type of training and I can see a very slight improvement in the non pumped state compared to what it looked like before starting this, but nothing major. Definitely not what you saw in the thumbnail. The thumbnail shows cold vs pumped, but again, when the pump goes away so do the gains. It works..but slow, just like any other muscle, it takes a bit of patience. I wouldn't recommend doing this everyday as it puts some pressure on your teeth. I'm no doctor, but I think you should give your mouth some time to recover before you train again.
Starting in early March of 2019, I went keto. Dropped my normal diet, and ate a lot of meat and greens. I lost weight, but also spent more time chewing steak and veggies, and that made my jaw tired after dinner sometimes. I also noticed a more defined jaw in the mirror. I think your results are a combo of both losing weight and working out.

You should try 30 days or 90 days for your challenges considering the time a transformation takes. But I like the stripped down no flash and gimmick way you do your videos. It makes it stay about your experiment and not ego and image. It makes you stand out

I don’t know if you ever skateboarded. But I’d find it interesting if you’d try 100 Ollie attempts everyday for a week. Like get comfortable moving, then work your way up. and see what gains you get. You be surprised how mentally and physically challenging it is. Great vid s always
That's some dedication 😂 Just beware, tight jaw muscles combined with some stress and anxiety can cause teeth grinding during sleep, which is far from ideal.

I use my wrist/forearm gripper. I have had it decades. Squash/tennis players use it to make there wrist/ forearms stronger. You just squeeze it together. Easily fits in the mouth and gives good resistance. Is strong and won't need replacement parts or to be replaced.
Thanks for the video - would you say that your jaw (= masseter muscles) got bigger or just looked more defined and toned? I'm asking this because I don't want my jaw muscles to get bigger but I do want them more toned! Thanks in advance!

I just got my Pop & Go set today. I too broke the rubber cord. I’m going to take it easy on this thing too. An awesome jaw line isn’t worth pulled a jaw muscle or TMJ.
congrats you are almost at 3m subs keep up the good work :)
In addition to the increased definition to the jaw line int the side profile, there appears to be significant increase in symmetry and definition in the front profile. In the before pic, you are definitely letting the jaw relax and as a result, the eyes, brow, and nose seem slightly (not a lot) asymmetric. However, in the after pic, you are maintaining "good" posture in the jaw and potentially placing your tongue at the top of your mouth a.k.a. mewing, and this improves the symmetry of the eyes, brow, and nose. Perhaps the improvements are simply due to the fact that you have established a mind muscle connection with your facial posture. If that is the case, doing the jaw exercises to help improve overall facial posture is sufficient. Also, the cut is noticeable in the neck. Great video. Hilarious skits also. Thanks.

Not only informative but funny too. A+ ;)
I was looking through my gratitude journal I left from 3 years ago during the pandemic. Sitting on my computer file for a while now and many of the gratitude note I left were quite positive. I came to this video because I want to improve on my jaw strength like with my ancestors did before chewing gum was invented.
I did jaw training for 2 weeks ..(so far ). Big difference already !! I am hooked .
The skits were great, dude. The bad form deadlift guy was spot on.
Nice vid.... very conscientious in trying to be objective.
Do a video about tendon training for a month!
You should do a 7 day challenge on what your body does when you get amazing sleep for 7 days. Your normal you compared to your normal you but with amazing sleep. See if there are any differences in weight and mood.
Thanks for the clarification pigme
Love it 👍🏽 question though: what hair product do you use? I have the same hair type as you and I love that hair style 😱
Bulking up the masseter muscle will contribute to making the cheeks look leaner. The side profile definitely shows real progress.
I believe if you want to have that type of jawline and you’re fat (not in a rude way just as a fact) then dieting and doing the jaw exercises together along with other hard workouts, I’m sure you could achieve that as long as it’s executed correctly
While I like the jawzercizer, I find that hard mastic gum is the better choice. The gum more closely mimics hard chewing, whereas the Jawzercizer focuses the muscles forward and unnaturally equally distributed pressure

so new here and not super knowledgable but, in the after pic the tip of your chin and the bottom of your lip look closer together than in the before pic so maybe that is from better law alignment caused but the jaw training? what do you think?
Wish the experiments were longer. If I did bicep curls for a week, I wouldn’t expect any results apart from a temporary pump immediately after.
The costumes 👌muah great episode
Definitely I think both the jaw exercises and a good diet is the right path to built a strong jawline Greetings from Mexico
Get some mint or peppermint extract, food grade from the baking section. After you wash it, just apply a couple drops. It not only makes it smell and taste better, but it's a natural disinfectant.
You should be really careful using jaw trainers used in the front of the mouth between the incisors. Incisors are naturally designed for cutting food, not chewing hard, resistant foods, so they are not at all suited to the high pressure of a jaw trainer. This incorrect use puts unnecessary stress on the incisors, and in the worst case, can lead to serious long-term damage (like TMJ). There are other jaw trainer that uses the molars to chew on. The molars are naturally designed for chewing on hard and resistant foods, so they are ideal for resistant jaw muscle training. I would recommend using the Jawliner instead, and agree with people that you should do it for at least a month with a before and after picture. Great work and keep it up!
This video is very funny. I have never seen that mouth resistance device. Never knew it was a thing.
It loos like your chin has moved forward quite a bit, in a good way. Alot of us end up shifting out chin inward and creating that lke bad posture type of look. I was wondering if this eould help that at all, and it looks like it did! Ive been trying to work on mine, and now i want one of these 😂
Ofc you have "more definition" in the after photo cause you missed focus in the before photo + the angle is different, you took the after photo from a slightly shorter point so your jaw is gonna look slightly bigger.
Good on you for admitting to the diet.. it completely invalidates the entire "experiment"... but at least you were honest!
how about training lung volume with a Bas O2 trainer or something similar
Think I'll buy it. Thanks pigmie
No you can deffo see it in the shirt time you did it.. i think if you did it longer it would continue to show. Excellent video 👍
What do you think about similar subject “mewing” for stronger jaw?
I wonder if you did jaw exercise in conjunction with Mewing would have any beneficial effects
Just think the difference between the twos is really fuzzy because of the position and the blurriness in the first picture. I do think though that if you keep going through this habit, you will make some gains.
A lot of times my jaw hurts due to TMJ (from clinching my jaw muscles from stress). If I use this, will it aggregate the tmj? I understand to prevent issues u should limit ur use, but what if you’re already suffering from those things?
I liked how u mixed in skits with the video
Bro, here in South Africa, we have biltong (jerky) which works your jaw and rewards you with pure protein. It's a win win.
Hey Man how are you? Did you keep using Jawzrsize after a week and what were the results?
You should do these challenges for a longer period of time. 1 week isn't long enough to see dramatic results for anything.
Did you find any effect on your sinuses and on your neck/neck joint? Positive or negative?
I did this with chewing gum for 40 mins per day across 2-3 days. My jaw has been dodgy since. This was about a year ago and it’s just about normal now. I learned to mew around this time and that’s sharpened my jawline a good amount. But I really wouldn’t recommended doing chewing marathons.

The skit in this was fantastic
Was probly a mix of the training and the new diet. Would be cool if u kept going for 1-2 months and did another update
Just bought one. It has nice adjustable black strap to get the ball tight in mouth but I guess its somekind of pro version, since its really hard to chew.
I have the same thing but I don't know how to use it, how many repetitions and series do you do?
Make sure you relax your jaw muscle after doing this because your face will actually downswing which in short is a bad thing and makes you look more tired and recessed.
Yes! There is definitely noticeable difference 😎
As a fitness professional I’d say the more defined masseter would be a result of the jawsersize and also the dieting. Either way any type of chewing or controlled practing of the bite force will result in a “more chiseled jawline”
@Josher_C.
3 ай бұрын
Do the masseter muscles need to rest to grow also? Like other muscles
When you do a before and after photo, you have to make sure the lighting and the angle of your head and neck has to be exactly the same. The one shown is not the same.
I had a defined jaw and cheekbones but after I started chewing my foods more my buccinator muscles increased, filling out my face. My jawline is still good but my cheekbones are gone. Any way to get them back?
could u do a set to failure with the same weight for the whole week
I went to your channel twice today because I was sure you would upload today😂😂

Physics and biology would say that those are not actually for jaw but facial structure. To workout the jaw you do the opposite, its restriction on opening the jaw not closing it
The car exercise had me dying, I could see that part being looped into a 10 hour video
I was chewing gum (2 sticks at a time) throughout the day... 1-2 hours 2-3 times daily. My jaw was sore af after several days of this. I'm sure your results are due to both the weight loss and exercise, though a week isn't enough time to test hypertrophy.

If you do this activity, don’t protrude your bottom jaw forward. That will create the TMJ symptoms. I got something similar from scuba diving, and I didn’t realize I was biting down on the regulator so hard. Part of it was stress because I was underwater and learning something new.part of it was I was pushing my jaw out on the bottom.
You should wear a JCVD tank for inspo.
I have read that it works. Have also read that the product or parts of it constantly need replacing.
I would think you could just use one of those spring-type dumbbell collars.
