OP is still under her mother's thumb, she thinks she freed herself, but she is still doing what the mother wants and leting herself be manipulated by her.

Real friends cut out abusers 🤷🏻‍♂️.

I very much had this sort of upbringing with my mother. I grew up, and now I never back down from her. She has no power over me now. She actually lives in a house that I own, so that I can be guilt free when she dies. But the minute that she says anything bad to me or does something to tear me down-I turn into a fire breathing dragon b-tch from whence there’s no escape. I’m a grown woman now, not the cowering child that she used to beat up to the point of getting turned in for it. And she lives in MY house now. She will not hurt me anymore. I turn on her like a tiger in a cage and she’s always the sorry one for starting anything with me. And then I don’t see or speak to her for months and months until she comes crawling back to me. The only reason I even house her after the things that she did to me is because she didn’t abort me when everyone pressured her to, and she saved my life during a house fire when I was a child. Probably the two kindest things she’s ever done because the rest was all bad. But I consider my life debt to her paid because she has a roof over her head that she only must pay the taxes on to stay there. And her own bills, of course. But no rent or house payments.

My question is, why is she choosing to include the brother who doesn’t want to admit that the abuse she went through is as bad as it was and not an exaggeration like he said? That’s just weird. You can like his girlfriend from a distance, we have multiple forms of communication that doesn’t require her to be face to face. Mail the gift, but now she is gonna put herself through hell for what? Keeping a connection with someone who is buddy buddy with her abuser? Crazy.

If someone had gotten wind of OP's living situation, they would contact social services to take her away from her mother, place her in foster care, and then with another family, through closed adoption; in fact, OP should've been placed with loving and kind foster/adoptive parents, and she would have a good life.

It feels hard to feel empathy for op. She still keeps enabling herself the potential abuse towards her. Some people don't want to be helped...

I honestly do not understand the first OP. There's no reason to be putting herself in that situation. She's basically putting herself in the presence of her abuser so she can support the girlfriend of her brother who she herself says is just like their mother. Putting herself in a situation so she can further call herself a VICTIM

Honestly, Story 1 was like ear aids. WORST story / info organization EVER. A sentence of sotry, then comments, then back story, then MORE back story, comments, edits, current story tid bit, then the cycle continues. What a F***ing MESS! i had to skip through a LOT to get to anything relevant (As Jack Burton once said; "Get to the God damn point, Egg") and not rehash nonsense that was already beaten to death 5 times earlier.

I disagree. Most similar channels skip the comments, and after a while their stories feel like yelling into a void. Reporting the ratio or adding personal opinions also make these kinds of videos more unique

Second story sucks, if ur basically gonna give no details don't bother telling the story. We learnt a sum total of nothing except OP went to the wedding.
