Hey everyone thank you so much for the support on this video, make sure to subscribe to my new ALL acne channel here: kzread.info/dron/cDbXrS6z1Eu633Ot3nsGgA.html! 🙏 I wanted to pin a post with some answers to the most asked questions! 😁 My four biggest tips for people who want to make change in their acne are to 1) REMOVE DAIRY 100% (not even a little tiny slip up) 2) Eat 8-16 servings of dark green cruciferous veggies 3) Drink more water (1-2 gallons a day) 4) Balance your gut flora by ingesting some form of probiotics. What protein can I use? A lot of people watching my channel are into fitness and consume whey protein, protein bars and products with dairy in them. Whey/casein proteins are concentrated dairy, you need to switch to a plant based protein. The best plant based protein is the raw plant protein from VivoLife (Yes, I'm sponsored because I support them fully - use BRIAN10 for 10% off VivoLife: bit.ly/VivoLifeBrian). They do not include preservatives, coloring or fake sugars which are are terrible for you. They also have greens that provide most of your daily vitamins, veggies and even probiotics. I promote them because their products do not break me out and are high quality. VIDEOS I SUGGEST TO WATCH (MY BEST ACNE CONTENT): EXACTLY What To Do With Acne Scarring! (From Experience): kzread.info/dash/bejne/fXqL2qVwc7OwhKg.html REMOVE REDNESS FROM ACNE & SCARRING: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mKKcmblsYpewdco.html How to stay positive and keep high self esteem (How To Get Past Acne Insecurity): kzread.info/dash/bejne/fnl7w5OamMadYrg.html Three Easy, Medium & Hard things to help eliminate acne: kzread.info/dash/bejne/q5p6ubWfirDQhZs.html I have countless more videos related to acne so if you have anything specific I suggest using the search function on my channel to see if I've talked on it before and if I haven't PLEASE request it in a comment below! I love you all and you are not alone, if you are feeling down from your acne I strongly suggest to continue watching my acne videos about self esteem to help you find the path to strengthening your confidence! ❤❤❤

My son just turned 15 and his skin is bad too! All his little cousins say “what happened to your face?” I put him on this medicine. If your family cannot afford the medicine make sure you DRINK about 3 litters of water a day. Eat very little junk food. Wash your face two times a day. Use antibiotic ointment on your big pimples ESPECIALLY if you pop them-like neosporin-your school nurse will have it. Wash your towels! Don’t use dirty towels on your face. I hope this helps!

I took accutane for six months at 120 mg a day (which is the max dosage they will give you), and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I mainly suffered from dryness all over my body, dry eyes, and mild joint pain. The side effects were very manageable because I used lotion every chance I got including eye drops. Also, if you live in a dry environment, it will make your dryness much worse. I went on vacation to Costa Rica during the summer, and I barely had to use lotion or chap stick because it was so humid compared to where I live. Also, the side effects mostly went away about two weeks after stopping Accutane. I heard stories of people who's side effects never went away, but I felt completely normal after just a few weeks. Maybe I am a little dryer than normal, but that is a good thing because my face and hair are never greasy. Maybe I just got lucky, but my experience with Accutane was very positive.

My acne was Honest To God WAY WAY WAY WORSE… like they put my face in textbooks on the worst scene. My parents were very very against accutane. We tried everything but accutane. I was in multiple medical studies, tried damn near every drug imaginable except accutane. When I turned 18 I Finnaly went and took it myself to get a prescription. I’m 22 now and damn better now cleared of acne. I still have tiny patches and what not, but it’s way better. Accutane saved my life. I was so mentally low and insecure because of my acne. Im now a changed human! Yes everything you mentioned in super true. The dryness length of treatment and bleeding lips. The only reason why it was labeled as such a bad drug was because a politician’s daughter committed suicide while on accutane. . I truely believe that people need to give accutane a better chance if they have sever cystic acne

What helped me was I would put Lucas Pawpaw ointment all over my lips at bed time and in the morning I would wet my lips with water and all the dead skin would just wipe off very easily! it would give me a fresh set of lips every morning that werent cracked! I then was using a good lip balm, Blistex (the light blue one), that i wasnt tempted to lick off every day and applied it every hour or so. As I would come closer to bed time I could feel my lips getting dry again but it didnt matter because I would just use the Pawpaw ointment and go to bed and start fresh the next day with lips that werent dry. Try giving that a go if you are struggling!!!

you are so handsome! congrats on your success with accutane. i have had acne since age 10 and i am 21 now. it has completely decreased my quality of life, i don't even know what i would look like without acne. I have to wear so much makeup and when I don't I can't leave the house. maybe I will try accutane myself.

Camryn Brielle It was worth it for me. Just find a good dermatologists and try to do a low dose approach I took 10mg only 5 days a week and saw great results so don't let these doctors give you super high doses especially if you're a girl ok and always look how you respond to it

I had SEVERE acne like Brian did. I tried literally EVERY treatment for my acne and nothing worked. So I went to my dermatologist and got on Accutane. I took it for about a year, it cleared up and I haven't had hardly any acne since. It's been about 7 years now and I only have occasional breakouts from stress mainly. I would recommend this to anyone with severe acne that has had no results from other treatments. Aquaphor ointment is the best for the dry skin part of it. And yes, always, ALWAYS have chap stick!

Great video man and glad to see you’re happy in your skin. It’s nice for someone to point out the negatives both psychologically and physically from accutane. I know of people that have used it and lived their lives 100% normal afterwards. I also know a couple of folks that got super messed up in the head. Whatever it is, think positive no matter what. Life is good. Keep up the awesome videos man

I had a lot of acne (I’m only 13) and I went to a dermatologist to fix my acne. I started using the medicine they gave me in the morning and at night. At first, i thought it wouldn’t work. But after a week or two I started clearing up and now it’s almost completely gone! Idk why I’m sharing this but I relate! Edit: I know his acne is wayyy worse and I can’t relate a lot, but that tiny bit that I relate to is what made me write this comment

I took 80 mg of accutane everyday for about 24 weeks. And it saved me. I started getting acne when I was 9 years old (early, yes) while the rest of my classmates got them by age 13. So for 4 years I walked around like some alien to them, and spent most of my years in school looking down, and covering my face talking to people. The accutane process was though, especially because I was in the army at the time, and accutane made my limbs and joints really stale and unflexible, so it was not easy. And the dry skin, pain in the lips, and the rest of the face was brutal. I didn't break out though, which I'm thankful for, so I didn't get a single acne during the process. The dryness is still left, not as badly, but it's still there. I quit accutane 4 years ago, and I still haven't got a single acne on my face. By body however is a different story. My back is covered, and some on my chest. But despite all that, my life is owed to Accutane. It literally saved my life.

I am still concerned what other people will think of me and I only open up on the internet. I’ve become pretty pathetic haven’t I ? Lol
