M81 has always been one of my favorite galaxies for sentimental reasons, as it was my very first astrophotography target (alongside M82). The details in this image are stunning! This winter was pretty rough on my end as well and I'm looking forward to spring now that it's here. Continue keeping up the great work Trevor, and I hope you have a great Galaxy Season!

I did exactly this just yesterday! Of course my result is a million miles away from yours, but I think the joy of an evening under a clear sky is probably similar 🤩🥰! And although I only have a 6‘‘ SC-refractor on an alt-az-mount with my daily Canon DSLR mounted behind it, it could still clearly be recognized as Bodes Galaxy, with the bright center, even some arms in there, and the first ring around it - and I loved it! 12 million lightyears! It just blows me away again and again! Huge congrats to your work, it‘s stunning again and again what level you have achieved 👍👍! Greetings from Switzerland.
