I just got a 16 inch Dob very heavy but I have seen some galaxies but waiting for darker skies in autumn. But really pleased so far.
Can someone give me an affordable telescope for deep space!!!
When I saw the eclipse it was so mesmerizing throughout my telescope
Trevor.... just curious what operating system are you running PixInsight on.....?
I saw it from the comfort of my backyard in Hamilton with my 6yo son. It was a warm 18 degrees and the clouds cleared just in time😊
Great video, what is the music on the end? Title?
There something I don't understand, i don't know nothing about photography but i'm very curious, how it is possible to have a clear photo like that with +1 hour exposure with the rotation of earth? In one hour the stars are not at the same place so we should see like star traces on the photo. Can someone explain to me
but the sky will be so clear at -22
Now show us how to exactly use it please!! How do we get it focused etc..super new to this and need help
So helpful. Thank you!
I'm so happy you had an amazing first total eclipse experience! :) So many of my friends and family originally thought the eclipse on April 8 would be something fun or neat but nothing super special. Once totality had passed, my phone was blowing up with text messages telling me how amazing it was. Epic, speechless, mind blown, crazy, and other words were used to describe how the experience made them feel. My aunt in Austin even posted on Facebook that she understood why people chase eclipses and become emotional. And of course my mom who traveled with me to Richford, Vermont on the centerline said she loved the eclipse and was so thankful she made the journey from Texas. EVERYONE should do whatever they can to see a total solar eclipse sometime in their life. It's just that incredible!
Hmm, this video wasn't available in Hungary; strange.
AstroBackyard and AstroBiscut NEEDS to collab!!
Hi Trevor another honestly brilliantly helpful video thank u so much i just love ur Chnl Clear skies my friend

Will it be good for a beginner
Can you connect your Fuji camera to it and take pictures or?
What is the point of actually picturing the galaxy if then you will actually completely photoshop the picture???, I mean, if the image is that shitty from the beginning, just draw the galaxy from scratch rather than taking a picture of it, anyways you will end up photoshopping it later so...
Hello, my name is Mateusz, I am from Poland. Please turn on the Polish language regarding text options. on your YT channel Older videos had this option, but new videos don't have this option. Regards, you are doing a great job.
I`ve had funny story with new dss few weeks ago. I made about 30 few minutes images and started stacking them, but one photo got a score of ofver 850k and the rest got 0. I fixed it only after reinstaling software. To this day i have no idea what happened
Hey Trevor, A little late to the party here but that must have been a scope that's been around the block once or twice. Reason I say that is because the case on that was bent outwards on the sides, hope the scope itself was not damaged but the case certainly was.
Does light pollution make you imagines come out worse
Imagine seeing a glowing big saturn in the sky and we're all cooked 💀
how can i attach a dslr to my lens which is a celestron 130eq

You're an excellent teacher. Thanks for sharing your expertise.
Thank you so much for all your work. I just purchased the 135 after debating where to start and how much to invest, I am excited to start somewhere, get absolutely hooked, and spend lots more 😂
So now that the 2600MC pro is out there, which would you recommend between the two??.. thanks.
I have a 585 sensor camera (the touptek version) and I've never experienced any issues with it. Although I must note that due to the smaller pixels it's possible that platesolving on longer focal lengths becomes inconsistent, the solution is to simply bin the image in the platesolve settings
looks like edited to me
Nice!
