Yea, after a mouse chewed up the wiring on my tractor, I decided to give cats a try. They have done well on that issue.

Hello from no bars Ga. which means we have no cell phone reception. I had the same problem only I burned a hole the lens , this happened a week ago. Ordered Three and they just got here from Ca.so my Advice for what it's worth get some spares . I still don't know what caused this to happen for I cleaned the lens every two or three days, I now do it at the star each day. Great Video's

Just as a FYI, they do not sell the lens cover for the xtool 20w pro. After a week and a half of using my new laser, my lens had developed the haze with a small dot in my lens. After contacting customer support, I am happy to report they are shipping me a new lens, free of charge, but I was told they are not selling them yet

We have a little calico cat named Lily who looks very much like your Cali. She's such a joy, has so much personality and energy, and she is far more engaged with the world around her than any other cat I've ever lived with. Smart as a whip, sweet one moment and deadly the next, and VERY stubborn. My wife said she would rule this household (amde) when we first got her as a kitten, and she was correct! EDIT: Sure, blame it on kids, grandkids, whatever. Everyone can see how much you love that cat and how much that cat loves you!

Thanks for the o-ring tip. FYI, it's the lens cover, not the lens that you were cleaning. It's just a clear, flat piece of glass. You can get 10 lens cover glass for $22 from one of the guys on the forum. They work great.

Just curious on your 4x8 sheets that are cut to 16x16. What temperature and humidity will effect the moisture content of the cut wood. Know it is stacked in your shed, do you use and heater and anyway to maintain the cut wood sheets?

Yes, I cut it into 16x16 sheets. Typically, the inside of my shop runs about 11% moisture content on wood that is up off the floor. If it gets too high, I have my own wood kiln to dry it in. I do keep the stack weighted to avoid any warping. The interior of my house is usually around 8% moisture content so the difference isn't enough to worry me.

@@TheClackShack Thanks, I had moved the D1 PRO 20w to the screened in back porch and had the sheets out there for a couple days. The 20w needed many more passes rather than the 1 at 5mm sec and 100% power. Just trying to confirm my thoughts. Thanks again!

Hello there, I just purchased the 20w xtool d1 pro and the laser itself won’t tighten. When I set the depth to 0 and then tighten left side of the laser module and I lift the depth guide the laser just drops right onto the honeycomb. Any tips you can send my way?

You have to pull the knob out and rotate it to tightn it up initially. Once you get it set right, it is just a twist when focusing.

Hi, I'm hoping you can help me. I need a new laser lense for my xtool D1 Pro 10w but I'm not sure where I can get one at a decent price. Thanks for your help

I get mine from Vintauri on Etsy. It is just a sacrificial lens to protect the inner parts of the module. If you run the machine a lot, they will get damaged. Keeping it clean and running air assist will help prolong there service life.

i didnt want a cat either and we had a stray come to the house, out in the country, and my daughter said "lets just feed it once". you know how that goes. so anyway we own a cat that my daughter swears is hers but the thing follows me around everywhere when I'm outside. it likes to sit at my feet in the workshop and it sleeps on the porch to my office when I'm in there. great mouser so there's that LOL

Just a comment in passing I like your style and your work. But to much waste. Your leaving at least 5 angels in that wood, and that’s cost that comes out of your pocket that reduces product yield from that piece of wood. There should be a nesting program to help increase your yield. Nesting is the art of planning your cuts to eliminate waste.

Each sheet costs me less than $1.50. I plan but also try to make sheet placement easy.
