Honda needs to do a recall on the belly pan. It's so common for those to fall off. I have the two screws, and I'm down to 3 of the half turn screws. I might get the upgraded belly pan, seems stronger, and less likely to fall off.

Dude, I had that happen on the freeway. This occurred because I installed a new exhaust and was missing some screws for that metal plate.

That happened to mine after I left the dealership one day, they did it after a inspection they did. I heard loud scraping when driving it. I called them and told them they messed something up. They fixed it put screws back on for free. They owned up to it

I always like hearing when dealerships own up to their mistakes :) it’s unfortunate that more dealerships don’t do that. I’m glad you got it all sorted out!

I actually have a handful of those screws sitting in my glove compartment because they tend to come loose so easily.

@@kylepalaian yup! No matter how much I torque them down, I find one that is about to fall out at every oil change.

This happened to my wife’s 10th gen civic touring and my 10th gen civic si both not lowered and still happened
