Slowly getting into my 30s and I'm doing very much the same... it's just so hard to explain what some songs do for you. It just makes me escape / forget reality for 4-5 minutes, it gives me the break that I need once in a while

these are the most oddly specific lyrics that strangely hit so close to home. o,O seriously, forcing yourself to lucid dream just to see, HER. This is brilliant.

Can't believe they're not big, they don't have the attention they deserve.

One of the best songs i have heard in a while. Whoever doesnt like this can suck it. Some people just dont know talent when they hear. Screw them!!!

Guys you fail to disappoint seriously. This is why I fell in love with this band. Lyrics, bass that's actually relevant, boss drumming, great vocal melodies, and creative guitar work

Holy shit, this song is near perfect. The chorus, guitar part, everything is excellent. Many good songs have good parts and some alright parts but this one is perfect. Thank you pandora for helping me to find this masterpiece.

This is one of those songs that I can listen to a million times and I will never get tired of it. Still one of my favorites.

I heard this when it dropped all those years ago and it was the first song i heard from i the mighty, since then theyve been my favourite band of all time

Man, I almost forgot about this song, but recently rediscovered it. This song helped me so much about ten years ago, I was helplessly in love with a friend of mine and didn't think she'd ever feel the same way so I just kept it to myself which made me absolutely miserable. But after really listening to the lyrics and understanding the message I realized that I couldn't keep doing that, so risking everything I summoned all my courage and told her. She didn't feel the same way, of course, and our friendship was put on hold, but after some time we started hanging out again as friends. And this was so much better than before because I got some time to accept the fact which made it much easier to get over it. So whoever you are, don't hold your feelings in, it'll destroy you in the end. Everything turns out the way it's supposed to if you're honest with yourself and the ones around you.

Just scrolling through KZread and find this under my recommendations. Greatest accidental find ever. Awesome band

After listening to this song for about a week, i had my first Lucid Dream experience on the weekend, after trying for years... I am infinitely grateful!

+Jimbob Sherwood Definitely not man, do some googling, I found a cool technique a few years back, if everything is silent, like dead silent, lie in bed, in the dark of course, and just listen to yourself breathe :), eventually you'll start hearing more clearly and then eventually you'll be sleeping but you're still awake type of vibe.

+James Heffer easy way to know of you've lifted is to tie a ribbon on your finger or ankle so you can't even feel it, when you lift and look down the ribbon won't be there, it also helps trigger it.

I'm pretty sure they've toured together before, maybe even a few times. I've seen both in concert so for the life of me I can't remember if HLH played when I saw ItM. Both are great though

This is my favorite song of all time. And I’ve said it for the last 6 years

This song holds so much truth in it! I went through a break up a little while ago, and I spent most of my nights lying awake, wondering if she was thinking of me as much as I was thinking of her. Finally, I decided to write her a letter, telling her how much she meant to me and all of the things about her that I cherished and loved. After I gave her that letter, I could finally sleep again at night, knowing that there were no words left unsaid. You have to tell her so.

This was one of the first songs i ever heard when i met my girlfriend and for that reason this song always has good memories.... oh and its fucking awesome!

I heard one of this band’s songs a couple years ago and told myself I wasn’t cool enough to hear the rest of their music till I lost my virginity. I definitely can tell you that this song woulda been way too cool for me if I hadn’t lost it recently

I agree to a point, I believe you take the lucid dreaming part too literally. I feel as though it's more of a bold metaphor than anything. At least, that's my opinion. Phenomenal song none the less, not just the lyrics but the instrumentals as well.
