I'm looking forward to getting this. I'm heavily invested in the M12 line. I also have the Bosch line too and that planer is great. Just got the new barrel grip M12 Jigsaw and wow...took them long enough but it was worth the wait. Got it on sale for $129 and couldn't be happier. Can't wait for the Brad to come out. Only does 1-1/2" nails but for the size you can't really complain. 12v technology has come such a long way and alot of them work like full sized tools. As a finish carpenter and woodworker, they can handle anything. The Milwaukee and Dewalt 5-3/8" circ saws leave a lot to be desired (I have the Dewalt and Makita 12v lines also🤷🏻♂️)....now that I'm thinking about it, my addiction to tools probably has something to do with being divorced twice🤣
I've been wanting to get it ever since I heard it was coming out . I will have this tool. Thank you for the video. It helped me make my mind up.
Got the Bosch edition on clearance for $48 at Lowes, Pure Awesomeness 😂😂😂

The original 12V planner.
Been using the M18 Planer for over a year. Picked up the M12 about a month ago and love it. 5.0 HO battery is great but it also works well with the m12 2.0 battery.
This is perfect. When I use the M18 planer, it's kind of unwieldy on doors. Feels like you could almost plane titanium.

Perfect for scribing countertops in the commercial millwork field. Faster and smaller than a belt sander. Highly recommended.
Very cool how small the m12 is that would be amazing for doors
I usually use my left hand...but at night, in the dark....good to know I can use both.

This looks like it will be perfect for working on Doors when they hang up. I've been tossing around the idea of the M18 for the M12 and I like the smaller one.

This would 100% be my g too for doors brother 👊👊👊
Seems very handy, i like that it goes right down to 0.
Finally somebody did another small cordless planer. I have the "original" Bosch 12V model for a few years already and use it almost every day in the workshop. It is way more useful than the bigger 18V planers! A fabulous little gem. And now Milwaukee have literary copied the design, but made it with two blades and substantially more powerful. Excellent!
Most Excellent Tool. Thanks Clint 👍

It's pretty good stuff Samuel 👍
I preordered this and received it two weeks ago, I haven’t had the chance to put it through it’s paces yet
Nice, that looks it might work better for me than my corded planer.
Finally gave in last yr and got the M18 planer for cabinets and doors. It's awesome but BIG. Guess I'll be getting a new tool soon 🤷🏼♂️

I feel like that's a tool I would need to play with in person before I really considered it. I have the big 20v dewalt version I use in framing g and flooring, and I use hand planes for detailed work. I just think it does a Jon I don't need
Think I'd rather have that than the M18.

Why they don't do an M18 fuel planer is beyond me.. I have the M18 brushed planer and agree with what has already been said. It's heavy, isn't very efficient on battery power and snipes way more than my old Bosch which felt much better in the hand. Milwaukee.. please bring out an M18 fuel planer.. I'm definitely going to look into getting this M12. It looks a lot more nimble than the M18.

Go Clint! In mad 😡. That thing has better dust collection than the M18. Awesome fearures.
That is real nice like. I can see lot o' uses for that slicer and dicer. I have noticed too that I may have been demoted to #2 on the list of jaw horse users, you may have me beat but watch your back cause I'm real close like lol

He dust attachment system is pretty cool way easier then the Orbital Sander which is a pain to remove and install the hose connector vs the filter box

Agreed Antonio!!!!!
Not sure if I’d replace my 5 1/2 Jack plane with this for my woodworking, but it may be MOIST enough for having if I do some table builds or glued up large panels if I don’t get a full on jointing handplane.
I should get one of these to use to shave my whiskers!

This looks amazing, alas I have a fear of planers, after using one with a faulty switch and caught my fingers (thankfully no long damage)

That is cool
I want one.
That would have come in handy a few weeks ago.
Just got me a new Millie tool for 50% off at the Home Depots 😊 It's their cordless M12 driver w/batteries x2, charger & storage bag(/lunchbox according to my daughter lol). Was $64.99 🇨🇦💵

IMO planers should be made 3.60 inches wide so you can plane a 2x4 in one shot
Does the battery last for more than couple doors?
@ToolReviewZone

Yes
Well I have the M12 platform looks like I’m getting another tool
Every woodworking tool I see I go "what is that one for"?
How does it stand up to some Hickory/Rustic Hickory🤔
Oh so smooooth, that is perfect for doors. Smeeesh that like button. 👀👉🏼 👍🏽

SOOOOO SOOOOOTH! and thanks for the SMEEESH Jason!!!
So funny! was just thinking the other day it would be cool if Milwaukee copied Bosch and made a 12v planer and well... What do ya know
why doesnt it have the fuel sign on it?
@engineer_alv
Жыл бұрын
Because it isn't part of its FUEL lineup. Milwaukee already sells mid-tier Brushless tools w/o the FUEL branding
You’re gnna make me buy this aren’t you
