I haven't had the smooth ambler you picked up but I love the contradiction they bottle. Smooth Ambler is over priced outside of WV though. It normally runs 30-40 dollars

Great video, was hoping the yellow rain slicker would make an appearance. I was just at Heaven Hill a couple days ago and the guy said they had ramped up their McKenna supply. No reason to have that at 100 bucks. I've only had Tincup 10 once and didn't care for it.

I sampled a bottle of barrell foundation and it was so good me and another guy who tasted it bought a bottle. It the first “sourced” product I’ve had that was so delicious I didn’t care about “distilling their own grains.”

Yep. Distilled at 31, bottled at 1. If you look at Early Times BIB, You will SE the Brown Foreman DSP and the Barton DSP where it is bottled. When Early Times goes to the Sazerac liquid, the DSP will change.

Maybe im weird but I love the Penelope Products. I would have jumped at the Tokaji. Enjoy your videos man.

I don't know if the Big Stick is only cask strength, but if not, that's the one I have. Roughly riding around $50-$60 (pun intended), so very affordable. I am always down in Hilton Head at least 2 times a year and always trying to find the best places to go to. For recommendation what are the 2 best places to bourbon hunt out of these places you went too?

The 3rd spot had weird prices, 330 for the 18 but 75 for the ecbp is currently cheaper than the VA ABC market. I remember gettin em for 50 then 60 then 65 now its 85 so I can't justify pickin em up for that.

So the heaven hill has a separate DSP for its distillery and where it bottles, so the DSP-1 is the distillery and the DSP-31 i beleive is the warehouse and bottling plant

JBB dropped the 8 year age statement sometime back in the mid 20 teens and has been NAS and generally believed / understood to be at least 6 years old. Nice to see an age statement again(and a bump in proof to 90), too bad they didn't return to the 8 yr statement.
