I Survived 24 Hours In Gokus Weighted Clothes

Ойын-сауық

I survived gokus weighted clothes for 24 hours. I'm a huge fan of the dragon ball series and have always wanted to try on Gokus 250lb weighted clothes. I tried running, fighting, eating, climbing, and much more!

    I could see this being very effective over a period of time. Speed, strength, endurance...it should ALL increase exponentially. Without even doing ANY ACTUAL training, you'd still be getting in a workout just by standing up and walking around. You'd probably feel SUPER light and bouncy... imagine the possibilities. Going up and down the stairs would be so different once the weights came off

    This would be a pretty impressive regimen to get into if you would like your body to get accustomed to the weights over time. Goku is innately gifted, so, it's the reason as to why he could do that. Plus, being as strong as he already was + experience before he even started wearing the weighted cloths gives Goku a huge advantage. The trick is to start small, then increase the weights over time.

  • @arkovi3643

    @arkovi3643

    It would strengthen your muscles in the short term, sure. But your bone structure could only handle so much. You'd start getting joint and back issues that people who are overweight for a long period of time suffer from.

  • @Kal824

    @Kal824

    Жыл бұрын

    @@arkovi3643 That's not always generally the case. Look at WWE wrestlers... People like Dwane Johnson and John Cena, who are constantly working out to stay fit, and in shape have to perform all kinds of physical training... Sure, as they get older, that may decrease, however, the same rules would apply. The more training you put your body through, the more it adapts. If we're talking about a capped limit, sure, I believe everyone has one, but this kind of training with the weights will definitely have it's benefits. Not nowhere near the results as Goku, but, I'm pretty sure just the amount need for normal humans like us to achieve.

  • @JoeKerrAnomaly

    @JoeKerrAnomaly

    Жыл бұрын

    He's not innately gifted, he's an alien. Not human at all. That's the reason he could do what he has done. Sure, he had training from multiple people, but even if he hadn't lost his memory and the savage Saiyan nature, he'd still be doing all kinds of things humans can't and/or have limitations he wouldn't have. As others have said, adding weights isn't very wise. Sure, it can give some gains but the risks and cons, even if you go gradual, aren't worth it. Regular exercises is better and healthier long term.

  • @Kal824

    @Kal824

    Жыл бұрын

    @@JoeKerrAnomaly Except you're wrong in this assessment of Goku, because he was born weak. Without proper training, Goku would've never grown. Alien or not. Sure, Saiyans have a biology that is much more powerful than humans, but without training or direction, none of it would exist. Plus, it's already been established even by Vegeta that Goku is different from any other Saiyan, even than himself. That he has an ability to learn, absorb, and adapt much better than everyone else. And that's because of his drive to surpass himself, not just others.

  • @theraven.4

    @Kal824 While Goku was born weak, he still was from an alien warrior race. His body is still alien. You didn't counter what Joe said. You simply just added on both unnecessary information and information that supported what Joe was saying. Goku is a fighting prodigy from an alien warrior species. Plus, I will add in that even before his training, Goku could lift cars and withstand gunfire... Regardless, the purpose of Joe's comment was to advise against using the training in real life. It was never to formally assess Goku.

    Yeah, there’s a reason why Goku can casually do that, especially with his martial arts training from all sorts of crazy mystical, downright divine masters, to the gravity chambers, to the Zenkais and battles + forms, from his Ki balancing, to…well…him legit being a Saiyan, which is a race whose potential thrives off of combat, war, getting stronger especially when facing certain death, and their limitless potential. IRL, if you did any of this, the long term effects as a human would fucking obliterate your nerves, your bones, etc, to the point where they’ll likely collapse rather quickly. We got no Super Saiyan, training that makes us infinitely stronger in base, no god Ki, etc. we’re weak asf :(

    No, no, no! You weren't ready for Kami's training methods! You need to start small with the Turtle School's methods. First, deliver milk on foot, occasionally skipping, zig zagging, etc., while occasionally running from dinosaurs. Next, plow a whole field using just your hands, followed by a hearty breakfast and a nap. Next, construction work (digging, unloading, wheelbarrowing, etc), then finally, 10 laps in shark infested waters. Oh, also, after the first day, do all this while wearing a 50 pound turtle shell.😆

    Loved watching you go for it , very entertaining :) I mean obviously its a trap, everyone should be able to figure out. increasing your relative weight during your daily routine will certainly have some minor cardio and strength benefits, but the inevitable disadvantages BY FAR outweigh those gains: 1) No progressive overload -> Joints compensate for the lack of muscle mass, especially the first months are gonna wreck your muscoskelettal system. 2) Support muscles will fade way before your work muscles do, resulting in a horrible form for the major part of the workout, lowering efficiency and increasing the risk of injury. 3) Thats the most important one since Goku is a martial artist -> Youre in fact decreasing your combat power with those weight shenanigans. In the original DB series, you can see the combatants having their combat power being measures pre-tournament by hitting a punching machine. What makes a punch a good punch? Its the proper mixture of force, velocity and accuracy. Adding weight to your limbs will in fact trade velocity for additional force, which is considered a bad trade-off in combat sports. Those huge decapitating haymakers usually just dont connect. And since youre getting yourself used to training with additional body weight, your nervous system adapts to it as well. Dropping off that weight will without a doubt make you faster instantly, but also have a huge negative effect on your accuracy. Its like driving a power-assisted car after having driven non-assisted cars for 20+ years. You will very likely oversteer, overaccelerate, overbreak etc. Which is okay when driving a car. But overpunching, hitting at the wrong angle or with the wrong part of your fist will not only harm your efficiency, but very likely get you injured.
