this might be weird but i have a lot of issues with sleeping and struggle to fall asleep every night. i often put a youtube video or a twitch stream on for white noise, and a couple months back discovered your videos. i've used your 100 days oneblock skyblock video as my lullaby for weeks. it works every time. your voice is very calm and your videos relax me and i can't thank you enough for the sleep you've helped me get

I do the same thing. His voice is just so soothing you can’t help but fall asleep. If he made an asmr video/channel it would be the only one I’d ever listen too. And his don’t even need to be like the other channels. All he’d need to do read his favorite or internationally popular books out loud with soft calming music or sounds in the background and in a 2 hour long video and he’d have over a million views per video and at least 300k subscribers. I’m willing to bet over half the people watch his videos just to listen to his voice so I wouldn’t be surprised if asmr help his channel numbers skyrocket. If he read books about ancient Roman Civilization and culture History teachers, English teachers, and other Ancient Rome lovers would absolutely love him.

Suggestion to save more wood. 1 plank cooks 1.5 item. 1 charcoal cooks 8 items. Burn one plank to cook one log to get one charcoal, then use that one piece of charcoal to cook 8 logs into 8 more charcoal. Love your vids! 👍👍

Suggestion for the board, since you have soul sand, and we have seen the wandering trader has kelp: Replace the ladder column with a water elevator.

There is a slightly faster way to move grass without silk touch, make a small platform away from your spawn, wait for a enderman to spawn, trap it in a boat , move the boat to grass, the enderman will pick up a grass block, you can then kill it to collect the grass :)

Hey. 1:12:40 Comment 1: Should have made the mob spawner higher. Then you could stand at the end and just afk kill. You need the 25 or 26 blocks distance from the player to spawn in. I am sure you will figure it out later in the video 😅 Haha yes you just did! Also the glow squid are because you are at the bottom of the world and the spawn in water under 0 I think If you want an easier way to deal with villagers then add the "Carry On" mod. Some may see it as cheating but as a content creator it would speed up your process. It basically let's you pick up and carry a villager. I use it for ease

I saw the eclipse. It was very eerie to experience twilight conditions with a full sun in the sky (had about 90% where I lived). Did the ol' pinhole camera viewer but also took pictures with my phone. Had fun figuring out how to make the pinhole bigger (it was a manual focus meaning I had to put a larger distance between the two papers to get a hole punch sized hole to show up. Makes me tempted to figure out if i can make a bigger one out of like plywood and placeing them across the backyard). Found it interesting the way the pictures came out was full sun with the coverage reflection off set from it. Got the same effect when I photographed a lunar eclipse back in my college years. All in all, had a lot of fun with it. I was to little the last time we had an eclipse come over the northeast us and our school refused to let us outside. (This was also in the 90s before eclipse glasses existed). But yeah, the twilight effect and sudden drop in temperature was interesting to experience but also eerie as heck.

Suggestion for board. Get a cleric to trade with as you have infinite rotten flesh to trade them and you can also get red stone which will help automate more farms later. Also automate mob farm with a couple hoppers.

glow squid spawn conditions are water source block, light level 0, below y=32 - it's why they were spawning & also why they were in the corners/source of water channels

Composter bonemeal glow berry second glow berry you can composter leaves make one bonemeal use that on the glow berry vine make a second glow berry and boom you can move it bro easy

Just so you know for future reference crafting tables can set on fire but they cant actually burn from what i know

I live in the path of totality in upstate New York and witnessed the eclipse with friends and family at Lake Ontario. It was absolutely awesome! You could see it travel across the lake. It was so weird when it got pitch black during the totality phase.

Just came back from Budapest, Hungary, if you ever visit there, the Roman archaeological site Aquincum is absolutely great. There's a lot of sites around Budapest, but this open air museum is really nice, definitely recommend it ^^. Every time I somehow come across The Roman Empire now I think about Legion Vee. I love him. Great video

according to google: "Phantoms spawn at night or during a thunderstorm at light level 7 or less. They also must spawn above sea level and they ignore the hostile mob cap when spawning (despite contributing to it). They will only spawn within 20-34 blocks above the player, as long as there are no blocks to stop skylight access."

You should put a kiddie pool at the bottom of your ladder so you can just jump straight down without having to use the ladder. You could do a water elevator going up, but that would certainly take a while, so I don't know if that would be worth it to you. This was a cool one to watch. I hadn't seen this kind of skyblock world before. I know you didn't feel great about how you handled all the mobs that came out and blew everything up that one time, but those are the "real life" experiences that are fun to see someone go through. It's very relatable instead of just seeing someone not have any problems come up during a run. It's quite entertaining and fun to see how you get through it and make the best of the situation. And it didn't kill you!

I'm going to take my time and enjoy another Legion video. It'll last me several days ❤

Just spitballing some ideas, but I think these thoughts could help you. First, to prevent slimes, I think string would work? I am not familiar with it all perfectly, but string is near invisible and I don't think it breaks, so you could lay a bunch of string to avoid having entire chunks look like polka-dots. I would certainly recommend looking at actually using job blocks yourself. Stone Cutters would save you so much stone, and I think I can tell you dislike Cobblestone farming. Speaking of the Cobblestone generator, there are a few things that might make everything nicer for you. If you want to condense the Generator, you could make it 1 by 3. [Lava, Empty/Cobble, and then a stair made of stone with the opening facing away from the lava. Then waterlog the stair and when the lava touches the back of the stair, it should turn into cobble. I have also heard that mining is faster when you are mining a block further away from you, so you might not want to be directly touching the block. Most do that only because the cobble goes flying, but covering the lava with a slab, and possibly using some hoppers under the cobblestone and/or around it should help with collection. Then you just stand ~4 blocks away instead of just one. Speaking of Lava, I don't know how hard it will be for you, but if you want to generate Lava, it is a slow process... but can be done. You need to put a Lava Source (or lava stream should work too I think) above the solid Dripstone block, and then have a Stalagmite under the Dripstone. And it should be "dripping" lava. Then put a Cauldron under that and the Lava will slowly generate. Anything else I would suggest just looking at the newest 1.20 stuff. Just having some fun exploring the new material is always fun for me.

I have a design suggestion: if you ever do a similair challenge. Instead of doing circles or squares, you should do the platform in hexagone chapes. That way everything will line up perfectly and you could make an outline of every hexagone which would make a pretty cool design.

Suggestions for the Board: change the iron farm look and add glass to the make the villagers more easily be seen and possible up the iron farm that way also. More Wood variety in the land and create a nice storage house for you to use.

Suggestion on a possible new sires: build tutorials Some ideas on builds to make a video on: how to make circles This next one can be multiple things but any auto farm or anything automated I’m sure there’s many KZreadrs that have made videos on both of my suggestions but you are the only Minecraft creator I watch mainly because you’re funny but also because I really like the Rome style so much to the point where I try to recreate some of your builds but throw my own spin on it this might just be a idea im throwing out because you are the only MC creator I watch and nobody else will want this to be a series but if you wanna do something not many people are doing show and or explain how certain builds/build styles can be implemented into a “Rome” style of building (sorry for the long comment)

Eclipse totalilly was AMAZING. One of the coolest things I've ever seen. I was at a state park with no one near, but as the corona appeared I heard people clapping from all directions.

Meat, leather, wool for clothing, and even milk for butter and cheese from some breeds; sheep were insanely valuable for early human civilizations. This is why they were a favorite sacrifice; you don't offer trash to the gods. You give them something precious. Wonder if Legion will offer one to Jupiter in gratitude for the bounty of the spawned animals~? *To-do List:* Go Fishing! Fishing is a cheap way to get food (even if Rome no longer needs the surplus), and if you can make a 'pond' that's 5 blocks deep, you have a better chance of getting Treasure catches (enchanted books/items)~

Hi nice vid. Here's a tip for you and anyone else. I found a way to always get the block you're mining. So instead of doing the water then slab under the block you can place a slab on the bottom layer next to full block you are mining. Then stand on full block with body off the side (helps if you crouch) then mine the block you are stand/crouching on and it'll always go into your inventory. You'll mine the block and "fall" to the slab right underneath. Works even with slabs. Lets say you have a bottom slab and want it back do the same thing just add a slab on top one to the side and mine it.

I was sad I missed the eclipse, but I was knocked out for a medical procedure when it was happening!! Still, eclipses are sooooo cool, it really does make it feel ominous outside.

I get so excited every time I see you post a new video. And as for the eclipse I happened to live one of the areas in totality and it was really cool here. It definitely felt freaky here especially hearing all the night time animals like crickets and things start to wake up and make noise. It was crazy.

To ensure sheep don't deplete your grass, you can use the same "jumping" trick with a grass reserve two blocks below the pen so it can jump upwards when the sheep eat one on the top

More efficient stone/cobble generator, also look at doing chest/furnace array, chest into composer. I think wandering trader eventually trades dripstone - dripstone farm, then infinite lava.

Not sure if this will work on Java but, on your mob farm, replace the sign with a gate. Then, place a lever on the outside block to open/close to control the mob flow.

Melt the gold or iron armour drops from the mob farm in a Furness to get nuggets which can be combined back in to gold or iron bars

I know grass can make the jump with an air block above and/or below, I don't think they can make the jump like that sideways. you may need to put some dirt under the fences connecting your small mini gardens up to the pen grass
