Wanted to let you know that in the room you spawn when you get kidnapped by the Rogue Riders, there's 5 Big Nuggets there. 1 in each of the "light brown" sand spots, they're invisible

I have never played this game, but I do see a loophole that can make the ghost run a fair bit easier: Eevee can learn Shadow Ball

0:19 For anyone who wants to play as a ghost type gym leader, Misdreavous has a unique Tier 3 evolution in this game that is Ghost/Fire that can be obtained pretty early in the game. This can also help against the Roughnecks who use a lot of dark type pokemon.

I also know from seeing May’s Eevee in the anime that Eevee can learn shadow ball, the TM move of the ghost gym. Catching and evolving some can give you a nice pool of type coverage

I'd have gone for it either way, if it still has the base stats cause damn it hits hard

misdrevus getting a regional 3-stage fire evo using Hex and friendship makes it an OP early game non-starter

Too bad you didn't find you can catch Ghastly in the wild, at night, in the very first area, where you get off the boat. Also, for your next playthrough: the cave where you're held after being kidnapped has a bunch of hidden Nuggets, in the sand patches. Good to sell, at that point in the game. Really enjoy these videos. Do grass next! It's kind of a pain in the ass, as well xD

If you went past the cavern of knowledge (where you found golett and honedge), you can find an npc who can give you a starter so you could've gotten a Rowlet to use later on when it becomes Decidueye

What makes being a ghost gym leader hard in this game is because the gang has dark type pokemon. So you are always worried they might destroy you easy. Also it you can't use ghost type moves. While i am all in for the pokemon you pick. You could've got some other good pokemon. Gengar is tough to get but their is a way to get a Gastly in the game. I know because i caught one in my play through. Also you can get a dark type pokemon that can help you as well. Something like Umbreon would've been a good choice since it can learn shadow ball. You also have Murkrow which can use shadow ball as well.

Cool adventure and awesome team

Im playing this game now as a ghost type leader. I started with duskull, honedge & Zorua (you can have 2 types that arent ghost, as long as they can learn shadow ball). Id suggest getting to level 10 before opening the gym. Duskull learns disable so you can diasble arons dragon rage and defeat that trainer. Get building plans asap for passive money in the game.

I think it’d be real awesome to play this as the normal type gym leader, I.e use his exact team and whatnot.

You being a ghost gym leader is cool.

It would be really interesting playing Pokemon game where you are a gymleader, I will be a ghost type gymleader because ghost is my fav Pokemon type. 💜

So I just want to say this game is amazing I beat it as a dragon type gym leader and frankly me and the dragon type clue well together I tried as a fighting type didn't get through Edgar I tried water didn't feel comfortable with that and when I chose the dragon type and chose gible as my starter I knew that me as a dragon type gym leader would work out also does anyone know how to make a squad photo of sed team in this games style

Note for next time: if you check your letter box, you get hearth scales sometimes, which you can then use to teach your mons from a guy near the poke mart. It's how I survived my own ghost types run.
