I submitted copyright claims to the YouTuber who had been copying my content

It's been a month and the issue is finally resolved.
Could have gone in other directions but this is how it ended up.
Thank you KZread Copyright Team for taking this matter seriously and making the right decision.
Thank you guys for your support :)

Y'know... that translation excuse irks me so much. If someone wants to help people in another language, then they should contact the original creator and collab with them to make subtitles for the original video... not make a new video and place it on another channel... it's not the thief's work... period! If the thief really was doing it JUST to help, then they wouldn't need/want to put it on their own channel for views/subs/likes/money. They would just help with the subtitles, which would be all that's needed. The laziness and disrespect is what is ruining society. Learn how to do things for yourself, from people willing to teach (like Ryi

I have no idea what he was thinking. This was just weird... and disrespectful. I am kind of surprised how kind you were to him, it takes a lot of strength, I think. So thank you! Anyway, neutral ending achieved! Congratulations. (It would be a happy ending if he actually collaborated with you) Also, even when he started putting link to your channel in description, he did it at the bottom of it, so the phrase "Original by RyiSnow" does not connect to it and it's harder to see that his content was in fact not original

Thank you for the good work on creating these videos. I'm from Russia myself, and if I couldn't figure it out somewhere, I turned on subtitles. After the release that there was a copyright infringement, I found this video in Russian, but I want to point out that this violator could not even explain the code that he writes, they say. I'm glad the truth stayed on your side. Good luck to you!

I have been following your videos since you were translating Japanese games, for English speakers. Prior, you had a few simple Java text adventure tutorials, but nothing like what you have achieved today. If the Russian KZreadr would have viewed your previous videos, they would have seen your simple beginnings and understood your frustration with how they handled it all. Please continue to create such wonderfully informative videos! On a completely unrelated note, do you have any plans of reproducing this game for Android, like your previous Java tutorials?

I did not watch all of your original 15m video either, but I read all the updates and it was obvious he was stealing your content. You also should not have had to explain yourself to your viewer, but you did. That could have been time better spent elsewhere. I got a really good idea about using Google Sheets to make the maps instead of your proprietary map maker, so people have an easy alternative that is not tied to your assets. I thought about making a video about it. If I did, I would credit you if I showed anything in a video of mine that was yours, but I would be just as fine to send you the few steps and let you make a video about, so I don't have to. It is almost, but not quite, as polished as your map maker. The only thing I would ask is if you decided to host a template of the spreadsheet used to make maps is to please allow it to remain public domain and allow people to freely copy it since it is only about four easy steps and anybody with a spreadsheet app can do it. Thank you again for all your hard work. I do feel like I am learning and getting better, so I would like donate more towards my education.

Interesting concept for the map editor. Since you are the creator of the tool, I think it is better that you host it yourself. For now, I'd like to stick to my editor and hopefully add more functions to it. I'm curious to see how your editor looks/works though. So please let me know once it's done! Thank you for your kind donation!

@@RyiSnow I will attempt to outline the steps briefly here. This works with any spreadsheet app like Google Sheets, Excel or Calc etc. 1) Decide the size of the grid. (50x50 tiles for example) and add/delete cells until it is exactly 50x50. Note: I tried making a 350x330 on Google Sheets and Google failed to save all my work, so large maps should be done with any spreadsheet that is installed on a pc. Smaller maps like 50x50 should be fine on Sheets. 2) I put a number in one of the cells, changed to font to 24, (or some default size around that) and drug it down and across to have the same number in all the cells as a place holder. The number doesn't really matter. The drag feature makes this easy in two simple actions. 3) Highlight all the rows and use the function to automatically adjust the cell size to the contents of the cell. Highlight all the rows and do the same. (Two simple actions) 4) Highlight all the cells and apply conditional formatting to the whole grid.. Just choose to auto highlight the cells a specific color of your choosing if it is exactly equal to the number of your choosing. Now if you put, let's say, "1" in a cell, it turns it green. You know that tile will be grass. "2" can be blue to stand it for water etc. 5) It is completely optional, but wile doing the conditional formatting you can also change the font of the numbers to also change to the same number of the highlight, so the square will completely change colors. The text can be left to the default black if you prefer to see the numbers. 6) Adding the map to the game is as easy as highlighting all the cells, copying, and pasting into a notepad and saving it as a txt file. It can then be loaded into the game no problem. It is important to note that you have been using a single space as the delimiter, but when you copy from a spreadsheet, it is a tabbed space instead. So in the line of code that is, "String numbers[] = line.split(" ");", it needs to be "String numbers[] = line.split(" ");" instead. They look completely identical and I am not sure if copying and pasting this line of code from KZread will work, but you just delete the space in quotes (after line split) and hit the tab key one time to make the space instead. I followed along with you making your original 16x12 sample map in Google Sheets and I could not figure out why I was only getting grass tiles. Then I read your comment and realized I had to change that delimiter. Using a spreadsheet is no where near as polished as the map maker you developed, but since I view these tutorials as potential education for a career one day instead of a hobby, I am trying to avoid using your assets and instead develop or find my own. I know the spreadsheet method may not serve you much, but it can hopefully help your other viewers that are wanting to avoid using other intellectual property. For the ease of learning, I have been so far coding with you line by line and dropping in the assets you have provided, but I have started making my own versions of the tiles and replacing them one by one. I am also going through your videos a second time and taking brief notes of the steps, so I can get away from copying you line by line and get comfortable coding it myself. I have a lot of ideas about what I want to do, but I am just following the course for now and trying to get comfortable with the process. I will copy and paste the part about making maps with spreadsheets on the videos that seem relevant
