So since I moved back to Melaka, getting good quality bread has been challenging. I live about 40 minutes away from town and the thought of driving all the way just to get bread is ridiculous.
I remember some years back I saved a simple bread recipe from ‪@_lacebakes_‬ and I finally decided to make it. I’ve made this several times now and I’m still in awe how forgiving this recipe is, I’ve overshot measurements slightly, I’ve over proofed I’ve missed a couple of the folding steps but it still works wonderfully.
It’s fun making it with the kids as you can see 😂 they absolutely love it!
