I Stole This From Thomas Heaton

I stole this from Thomas Heaton. Landscape photography done in 1 take at a location I've never been!

My Camera Gear: bit.ly/BvSGear
Greg's Channel: / gregorsnell
I love landscape photography because it's calming. But what happens when you go out to a location you've never been before and try to make a photo and a video in just one take? Well, it gets a little bit more frantic. Landscape photography gets a little bit more real.
So, on today's episode we headed to a really cool photo location where I thought I could maybe steal and idea from Thomas Heaton and try to make a landscape photography vlog in just one take. The result, actually, was pretty good.

I was in Hawaii a few months back walking around on the black volcanic rocks near the ocean. They had a little wet moss on them (and I had my water shoes on) and man were they slippery. Almost broke my neck....I'm really hoping no one falls....still watching but "WOW" what a great location! Thanks for sharing...

I've used Nisi for a couple of years. Love the filters. BUT I still find it tricky to be sure the filter holder has locked on. Always check carefully before letting go. As the circular polariser installs INTO the front-of-lens "mount / adapter" it might be worth considering getting a second mount/adapter so that one can be left with the CP permanently installed; and the other without its CP. Because i'd find it too frustrating trying to get the CP in and out of the mount. Maybe someone else has found a more elegant/cost effective solution.

See what you started: 😎 I was gifted with a "Absolutely Stunnin", t shirt, but a photographer friend of mine took it 😆 She is still looking for her variable ND 77mm filter, I have no idea where it is😇 And I see Thomas is not selling shirts at this time.
