    The Stories all of us addicts have are so unreal to people who have never had addictions! Sometimes when I think back to some of my days as a addict it’s unreal to me drugs turned me into someone else and I don’t like that person! I’ve been clean now for 2 years and I’m proud of myself I did it! To all my fellow addict bro and sis I love you all!!

    debbie finn I’m now on suboxin it really saved my life. I had tryed everything else and it never lasted but since I’ve been on suboxin it has gave me my life back and I have no desire for drugs again

    Yes it is. It's hell. A fuckin nightmare. I have been sober from alcohol for 12 years 3 months. I struggled with opiates too.

    I'm 2 years sober I did the same stuff going through ppls medical closets or mirror did 6 detoxs 5 days back to work doing it again. Sober house saved my life and the rooms are welcoming. 1 day at a time

    This is why the desire to belong is at most cases comparable if not worst than addiction, Everyone goes through it even me. I guess where we differ is what stuff I used to get to that goal? Some people use drugs some always go to something positive.

    I really feel for this man, because he lost out on many happenings in his life back then due to his addiction. Well knowing that you'very made a mistake in the past and making a u-turn is what matters. I am happy he eventually made the right decision.

    im 17 and after 5 years having gone between loving weed, tripping, amfetamines and now stuck on opioids im even bored from opioids man ima quit shits getting boring u should too. theres shit u dont even feel when on drugs (i couldnt relate cuz ive been on shit since i csn really remember anything except a few family vacations)

    because it doesn't matter if you are sad or happy, the effects of drugs are interesting and without proper harm reduction education in place people just won't be able to use in moderation, attributing fear to drugs may work for some sheltered people but as soon as they meet other people who don't see drugs as demonic entities then it peaks their interest, stories like this are important, one must be able to view the positives & negatives without thinking their parents just don't want them to have any fun

    A prescription from my doctor exposed me to pain medication, which made me euphoric. When I was of legal age, I knew trying a drink didn't make me an alcoholic. I hope that helps.

    Depression hits any of us. Doesn't matter how you grow up or with whom, it can hit you and when you're immature and naive drugs and alcohol can seem very handy to make you feel better.
