@@andreweyerly8455well truck designers today are what i like to call ex lego designers for some trucks truck designers in orwells day were truck designers they thought what do the truckers like and need in a truck so ok comfort wasnt the best in the cabovers because of the humo in the cab but we can give the driver cmgort in the bed and give the trucker both style and horse power and transmission but they made the truck reliable hensw why alot of guys in the u.s and europe still run old trucks like orwell and in europe alot of guys are still driving trucks from 1995 to pre 2005
I'm 70 years old. Brings tears to an old man's eyes to see all cabovers!! Keep it up!

Hey that rusty wheel on Orwell gives him character I wouldn't change nothing about it it's a working truck not a show truck
I like the mechanical work content as well. I don't know about anyone else but I'm wondering how Maggie is doing. You mentioned that she had an injury.. Maybe you can get her on a video telling us the story.
Steve one of the guys in Utah has a Ford CL that blew the motor right after he bought it. He works for Dave @ Sparks Motors / Diesel Brothers. Might be a very good shot of picking that up. Has tandem rears with a cat.!!!!

after stretching another pete....i would love to do another rail swap. so much easier and faster. hardest part for me is sliding in the freshly painted frame rails into place without damaging the paint. i had talked with a guy who got some new frame rails out of a place in detroit. a lot closer for you than pj adams.

In the seventies, the AMT model co. sold a 1/25 scale Pete cab over , called the Peterbilt 352 Pacemaker. On the original model issued box is an artist illustration , of the Pete, with full red and blue graphics on white cab. I think I’d be cool to see how those looked , back when those were new. Good Luck Steve, I’m glad to see you’ve got the 352 back .

Steve - I'm really enjoying your "behind the scenes" content with the shop. I have tons of regard for those of you who can work with your hands. I have always liked learning about shop practices.
Dude, I love the way Orwell looks and sounds. It's a working truck, helping support its owner. You'll get Orwell some TLC in future!
Wow, I totally forgot about glow plugs. Oh yea, I like the rusty wheel, it adds character and personality. As far as your plan, you play the hand your dealt. Two trucks sitting or one truck making money? I say polish that turd and get to making money brother. Keep on trucking and God Bless America!
Looking forward to seeing the build keep up the excellent work

It’s great to see the old cab overs getting worked on and coming to life. Trucks like them are really a thing from the past. If your wanting to do heavy haul I’d think you want more HP out of the motors and go with a 3406E

Loving the mix of content good buddy! I saw a peterbuilt cabover in Skowhegan Maine today, if it's still sitting there in September I'm going to stop and check it out. That's going to make my wife real happy 😊 29:47
You are doing a mighty fine job of what you are doing and in my personal opinion I wouldn't worry what people think of what you want to accomplish keep up with the good job Steve
I love all you do. Please keep the faith. You have a lot to be thankful for. What you do makes this country great.
Love the new content FSC. Now there is something new going on in every video. Ya know I almost would like to drive that 352 once it’s done. Go back the way it used to be like. Yup things are beginning to happen. You will get more viewers for sure. About that rusty old wheel, let’em complain. Good to see your channel evolving. Always something new happening. Your channel is surely up there FSC. Congratulations. Anywho thanks for the great video. Have a great and a safe day. Happy trails and happy motoring…
Yes sir thanks for bringing us along on this adventure brother. Love the shop content it brings the every day life of a owner operator. And we get to learn as you go along. Take care be safe 🙏

Loving the new content Steve, the 3 cab overs are frigging cool. You guys are proficient with these trucks, l see great trucks rolling out of the shop in a pretty quick fashion! 👌🏻. All the same, l wish you and your crew all the best, safe and healthy for all. The 352 is another sound truck, it's just a money and find the parts you need thing. I wish you well in that, finding everything you need! Also it's great to see you doing the maintenance on Orwell! Clean fuel and air! Major players in a healthy diesel engine! 👍🏻. Happy motoring! And a shout out to your friends Bobby and Dominique for helping you get the Ford 9000 and it's trailer on your trailer to bring it to your shop, great peeps 😀 👍🏻. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻.
Steve, been watching the channel for a while now. Love the loading and unloading vids with Orwell. I am also excited to see the journey with that old ford.
I tell ya’ Steve! I wish I had been around when you sold your ‘99 Yellow 379 Peterbilt! I would have purchased that truck from you in a SECOND! I absolutely loved that truck!!!! Oh…and your content? It is TOP-NOTCH! Thank you, sir!!!
I like when a plan begins to take shape. Looking forward to watching it develop over the year!
Really like the new content. Looking forward to seeing the two trucks come back to life. Thanks for bringing us along.
Love the content Steve mix of trucking and repairs/builds great stuff, wishing you the best my friend. Watching from Ontario Canada.
Hello FSC, I really enjoy the content, I like your videos a lot. It's nice how you take the time to explain about your trucks and its components. I wish I would have taken more time to listen to watch my uncle work on his back then, too busy playing inside of them.
Loving the new content driver, if you get time and money please revive the 352 aswell ! It has good character. Love the the ford, cant wait very excited for the up amd coming weeks. Stay safe Roger.....
Congradulations on your expansion. Maybe the TFC deal will bring you added good luck. All rhe best. Bill
Glad the 352 isn’t going away, at least in the conventional sense. Beautiful old rig, I do completely understand why it’s just not worth getting roadworthy now. Glad she’s still going to have a future. Maybe it’s just me being me, I always thought 2 hole steelies looked really good on drive axles. Orwell has a strong “working man’s truck” aesthetic and I dig that. 👌👌
Great video Steve really enjoy the new content. With the Ford and your 352 looking forward to your next video stay safe Steve.
Your hitting on all cylinders Steve, great content. Cheers !
You made me smile Steve, when you mentionned that some of your viewers ,where busting your you know what about changing that rusty wheel on Orwell, because I am one of them LOL !
Yes, olease keep us in the shop and in the driver's seat!! Both adventures are interesting!
Steve your attention to detail is your success.
Yes! I Love the New Content! I can’t wait to see the turn out on Orwell and the other cabovers!
I enjoy this new content as well as your "normal" content. You do an excellent job at explaining everything to those of us who don't know. :)
The new content is good. Im not mechanically minded so i really enjoy seeing how things get done. Keep those videos coming.
I’ve been smiling since the video started, thanks for the content driver. You should take the chains off the “donor truck” and put them on Orwell they look new.
352 looks in real rough shape when you are up close to it for sure. I like the fact it's going to get rebuilt eventually to where it'll run as good as the other two will.
2:20 750 HP of caterpillar diesel engine running at this moment 😂
Love the content and looking forward to more about the process of everything that you are doing and looking forward to seeing everything come together for you Steve.... Keep up the great job and keep on truckin 🚛
I'm a Ford fan but that 352 just has more character and just screams yes to me. The old Ford is ok but I'll always be rootin for the old Petes.
Great content buddy I like how u r bring old iron back to life keep up the great work
You have a great vision of where you want to go. I wish you the Best!
Loving the classic cabover content Steve, always happy watching Orwell videos but the ford and 352 add a new element to the channel that I personally am really excited for. I love learning about these classic trucks as your journey with them begins. I wish you all good luck and success with your endeavours and I'll be very glad to watch along as you guys restore these great cabovers. ❤
Hey Steve, this is Steve rhome TX. Good video great editing, I Really love the older trucks. Spent 40 years selling Mack parts then also Volvo till 2016 and retired. Great game plan for the whole fleet. Nothing wrong with stud piloted wheels or spoke wheels if done right. Keep it coming. THANKS
Looking forward to the new content and seeing all these trucks come back on the road. Good ideas you have for them to by reusing and swapping components to make it happen.
Definitely enjoy it! Can't wait for the build! Be safe Steve
Love the new content and all the content great job Steve can’t wait to see the progress of seeing that ford on the road
Steve us followers of your videos recall how you taught your son Matt how to drive your yellow cab over.if I recall he did pretty well or very good.😊🚛
you reminded me ....years ago i had a 318 that you had to stall it out to shut it off.....one day i put it in the wrong gear.....i popped the clutch and the dam thing started running BACKWARDS....that scared the hell out of me

I love this content had to do it 7 days a week at times. The cab on that 352 is phenomenal.
thats quite an interesting set up, especially air going through the cab like that. That adapter and mount seems to be a Ford thing. The engine in my boat came from a 352. This is pretty cool.
Oh finally the Peterbilt 352 cabover I wonder will it go back into service as a semi truck again and where was the Peterbilt 352 cabover is finally showing again for months
Correct we will , just still keep looking whatever you do !!! it still very entertaining , and informative , when you have fun we do as well . Just do it !!! i wont complain .
Really like the direction your going on the channel
Gonna be some excellent content steve ,not that the previous content wasn't great .Always liked the camera angles on the hauling videos too .
Spot on Steve, we'll still watch whatever you do with the trucks, "Carry on regardless ". Stereo CATS 👌😀. Thanks for sharing
this will be amazing if you can get 3 trucks on the road in total
I love that 352. The Ford is nice to have but the 352 is a real classic rig. This beast get moving again on the road would be an achievment.

Good content Steve. Nice combo of topics. Video length is good too. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

Sounds awesome, can’t wait to see the progress
Steve, you have some AWESOME projects in the works....LOVE IT!!!!!
Hi steve its all good happy to see them brought back . Cheers 🇦🇺
Forget about all the Nana's dissing the Daytons. I reckon they are awesome and I know loads of people that think the same. Not sure why anyone doesn't like them they look awesome and work fine if you know what your doing with them. I had them on trucks in the 90s and never had a problem with them. Plus they suit that erra truck too. I reckon they look tough. Just ignore them Steve and do as you please cause it's your rig not there's.

@@AndriaSmith-gp6ms yes I ride both on and off road I use it as an adventure riding bike so it will go anywhere I want it to and i like to ride the highways to get to destinations to take it off road up rivers, lakes and mountains back country areas. Great bikes I've owned 3 over years. Mine is the 600R model though 1994, very basic and mechanical which I like. I'm guessing your referring to the 650L very similar to the 600R and good also. The 650R is a completely different motor and bike altogether though and is a beast not to be confused with the 650L. not to many 650R over in usa have those registered for both highway and off road though more an off roader. I've ridden a few Harleys too but never owned one, I like Harleys too but a different kettle of fish. Depends what your into riding wise. If you more want to stick to highway and sealed roads Harleys are great and comfortable for it. If your wanting to do the odd bit of off road or even some dirt and gravel roads the 650L is definitely the way to go and opens up more options. Even though it's more an off road bike the 650 is still comfortable with fairly big cushioned seat and can handle road riding fine too imo. Goodluck with what ever you decide to get👍
hi Steve lot of work to be done on the trucks but u will get it done with the help from the guys stay bless looking forward to see the chapel truck
Thanks steve excited about CL9000 can not wait to see content on that truck I tell James the same thing on his Ford.
You are doing great Steve! 100k by the end of the year! Lets do this! Dayton's are the OG backbone of the trucking industry. PIA split ring rims... done a few when I could swing a bead hammer, tubes, bla bla bla... but if you take care of the setup it will make you money. How you do that in the rust belt? I don't know... but they did it before. Loving the Old School. Thank You for the content!

Love to see the old trucks
I had commented on a previous with a question about the yellow. And now i have half an answer. I asked why u would't put a third axle under the yellow truck instead of under Orwell. But know we know that the frame on the yellow truck is useless at this point. Love the shop vids Steve, keep them coming
love the shop content. peace and love to you and orwell.
Two or more cabovers close to each other is a very rare site here in the USA🇺🇸 nowadays. I remember I saw cabovers everywhere back in the 1980s & down. Nowadays the only cabovers I see around are fire trucks, garbage trucks, yard spotters, crane trucks, concrete pumper trucks, small non semi trucks like those Isuzus, & a few other kinds of straight trucks. The length & weight limits increased which were what eliminated the need for cabovers.
Steve I like it, it will be so good to see the ford & the cat being built to go back on the roads, you just can't beat the old trucks, these days there all plastic crap, bring back the old trucks any days, keep on trucking Steve things will happen in your vision, don't let anyone bring you down my friend, from over the pond.

352 is a complete channel changer get it done channel will blow up awesome truck
Dirt Perfect has a project truck where he had to alter the umber of axles, he cut the frame in 2 and had blocks holding the pieces level, welded extension pieces to the frame and welded it back together. So the 6 by 6 retired army truck is now a 6 by 6 with a tag axle. I think he has a playlist for this project, Lt. Dan being it's name. it only needs a skilled welder and the extra lengths of frame steel to make a frame fit more axles.
Thanx Steve, like the shop content too!👍
We were well into the 90's before we got "new" used dump trucks and tractors with Budd wheels. I think all the old originals had spoked Daytons. Always fun when changing a tire putting a socket on the ground and spinning the tire to make sure in was true and tightening the nuts more where needed to get em straight.
Great content with the shop added in. Great ideas here.
