You are a brave and courageous young woman. Thank you for sharing your experience. I haven’t personally be admitted, but my son was in 2018. In January at age 10 he was admitted into the psychiatric ward in a hospital in Ontario for a month. Then after we moved to Québec we was admitted to a psychiatric hospital in November for a month in a half. You are an amazing human being and by talking openly about mental health you are helping others.

Thank you for your courage to share your experience with. Hopefully it will bring greater awareness to others of how much more care needs to be provided for some many others suffering to with a mental illness. I myself have spent at least 6 times in a locked facility.

The first recovery I felt asleep in the er after an injection. Then woke up days later xD

How great it was to hear arianne talk about her time in a mental hospital I wish those who go against gay people get check in to see what is wrong with them good luck arianne well done.

I’ve been hospitalized 10 times for suicide attempts,self-harm,getting drunk in public,aggression and for threatening to burn down my group home that I was living at the longest time I stayed at a hospital was 6 and a half months at a state hospital which is funded by the state which means they can keep people for as long as they want I stayed there involuntarily for 30 days and had to wait to get into my group home which toke months they later on during my stay put me on a unit for NGRI patients (not guilty by reason of insanity)which was basically for criminals that were found incompetent to stand trial for a crime on my 8th hospitalization I had a roommate who was a schizophrenic who later on had a delusion that I was a cop listening to everybody’s conversation and I ended up switching rooms because he said later on said he hired a hitman to snipe me through the windows and we almost got into a fight in the Rec room because he just kept bullying me but one of the nurses got in the way and stopped me when on my 4th hospitalization they gave me someone else’s meds by mistake when I left which’s could’ve been a lawsuit but me and my parents decided it wasn’t worth the hassle trying to sue the hospital because of the money that they make off those places I have more stories and could do a video about them at some point.

my gf went to the mental hospital for 2 weeks now and honestly idk when she gets out , im a bit worried they making her stay longer , she admitted herself😮‍💨

I was 12 and suicidal I thought I was crazy so I went to the er and basically they told me that I wasn’t crazy and I’m not suicidal so I went home and a year later I tried to kill myself then I got caught now I’m on meds

can i cut more. i just wanna die rn.

I wouldn't do that, that's how I almost got arrested for depression, I had no windows in my room i was in there for like 5 days for trying to get a security off me because he was stressing me out with shots and stuff because I wouldn't give him my phone, you need therapy or get on some meds
