I just started my braid locs as well(with extensions)after trying the micro locs with extensions. The braids are definitely holding up better, not slipping with less tangles…my hair is very fine & thin so I think yours will do great without extensions since they already look great😍💞

Your starter loc extension dud look nice but there is nothing like cultivating your own locs. It’s not easy & takes time but believe me since I started mine I’ve done my 2 sisters & my mom who’s in her 70’s & my 2 boys with traditional locs. We all LOVE them & all our locs look different. Persevere young lady the results you desire will come 🤣

I started mines with 2 strand twist & interlock the roots using 2pt rotation. 😊

They are beautiful. This is how I started mine then I added extensions using the no slip method.

Awesome.! & thanks so much I've been going back and forth about adding extensions in again 😩 but I want to wear my out as well...so I might go for it again lol, if you don't mind me asking..how long has it been for you ? And Is there a huge difference with the braid method with extensions.?

This is my second time installing microlocs with extensions. I comb out my first ones out due to me having the constant need to change my hair. (Since I learn how to do everything off KZread University lol😂😂 I’m always trying something) this time they have been in since Sept 28 and I love the method with braided extensions (crochet method) because I have less slippage. I braided halfway down and twisted the rest.

You literally sound like me 🥴😂, I got to youtube University too 😂😂😂 These would be my second time adding as well.! 😂 I want to add them back sooooo bad but, braid down to the tip...no twist..my biggest fear is it not fluffing out how I want it to, because it's a braidloc lol..

Omg lol haha, thankyou.so much ! If I add ext. It's probably gonna be sooooo little just to add a little more length at the tip of my hair ends...we need to keep tabs on eachother at this point 😂😂 literally my hair sister 😂

So that was actually an accident, I’ve used a conditioner in my hair and let it sit for about 15-20 mins.. and washed them out, as I was washing them out they were slipping out so much at once so I ended up taking the whole thing out 😭😩
