It is so nice to know her in details and get a glimpse of her personality. Like her as a dancer for sure.. and can totally relate to her. Growing up in Canada my parents were extremely strict.

@@inception007exactly, john himself is not a good speaker, therefore to carry the show he needs someone who can take control of the conversation. Now when guests like Safa Kabir or Ridy Sheikh come in, it's hella irritating and blunt.

I believe Jon conversing with behind-the-camera guys is good and gives a casual vibe, however, I think he has been overdoing this a bit. Takes away the attention from the main interview, plus the audience cannot hear what Jamshed says in response to John. btw, anyone noticed Jon being a little গদগদ during this interview? I usually enjoy this podcast because Jon is so natural in conversing, but somehow he could not be entirely professional this time.

why do I like jon kabir more than his guest? she dances nice, but she acts like a super star - her sitting position, guestures show she's from family that helped her a lot to be where she is today. A little spoiled daddy's and mummy's doll. Money, family friends etc brought her to Bangladesh, to win dance show and start a carier on full scale. Her father is a politician and has connections thats it. In these days there is nothing inspirational about it. She is ok, but show us people who achieve something with no helping background, cause there's nothing interesting about it.

35:25 This is a flawed argument. Because the dataset you considered here itself is biased. Most women who work as a helping hand are divorced or widowed, because their husbands leaving them is the sole reason they come to your house to work, to provide for themselves and their children. It's less likely for women from that social class who live with their husbands to work 8-9 hours in someone else's house, let alone stay at someone else's house because their husbands are probably rickshaw pullers or day laborers, and they will expect their wives to be at home with food and everything whenever they return.

Just started the video, but kind of disappointed with your guest choices in last seasons. Your show was unique because of your unique guest selection, and depth of the conversation. I remember you even invited a delivery guy in one of the episodes. It was nice to know how these people think. Now it's either musicians or influencers. I still remember the episode of bobby hajjaj, which was quite insightful.

I disagree. When the objective of the conversation is Russia, for the sake of understanding i need to formulate my sentences the way i do. When I speak to Russians about Bangladesh, Bangladesh is the objective and i refer to Russians as people in Russia/people in this country and etc. It’s sad how you randomly say that i said “not my people, not my country”, when in the beginning I explained how hard it was for me to explore my identity as I didn’t feel that I fully belong to Russia, how I was always mentioning my Bangladeshi roots when I introduced myself as a child. Please stop overthinking. I know its hard to understand bilingual person with uncommon background, but don’t look for the problem where it doesn’t exist. I have equal love and respect for both countries. Born in Russia, made it in Bangladesh.

@@RidySheikh The way you talked about Bangladesh shows so disgraceful you are. and you have zero respect for Bangladesh. Girl you are not a diva that can say anything about a country and it's people. You will be always that girl from tiktok who dances around random songs. And TBH you are not that of a good dancer. So Stop acting like you are celebrity or something. 🗑️
