I love the tire paint, it draws your eyes to the tire and makes the lift more noticable. I love the look.

This is an awesome idea, def. let us know how it holds up! I think if you took the wheels off and sprayed it on with it laying flat on the ground that would fix your dripping and spotty areas.

I was telling people this long ago that you can spray paint tires it wont cause any problems other then have to touch them up from time to time when they get scuffed up though i recommend to take wheels off doing this one at a time laying them flat

Love to know how it holds up. Do a 2-week and 1-month review perhaps.

Can I use it on Vehicle Floormats? If so, hope they have it in tan color.

Sponge application of this stuff works well also (satin look). And if you use a Rim Brim with the painters tape it makes over-spraying not such a headache on different colored rims.

I used some on my 37 tire on my jeep..u will regret it..when it gets old it starts to peel and flake off like silicone and it's a bitch to get off especially when the over spray hit my fuel rim..

Old trick, been doing it for years with $1 can gloss black spray paint, just don't over spray & get it on the wheels

Good video man. You can coat unwanted areas (the rim) with Vaseline and the black will easily come off

Adam's Polishes tire shine gives a better and more consistent shine than that and does not sling on my truck / car either. I don't know if I don't like this because it is like a cardinal sin spray painting tires or what but it seems like once the tires get dirty and you wash the truck it will either A) Wash off or B) Fade. Either way interesting video, not knocking you just giving you my thoughts.

What's wrong with spray painting a tire? Are yah saying spray paint will damage the tire lol? I've done this with every vehicle I've ever owned and have had 0 issues with the tires afterwards. I just used the $1 paint lol.

Kevin's Squat TRUCK I literally say in my post it’s a cardinal sin for a detailed to paint a tire. I literally said NOTHING about the paint damaging the tire, so I’m not sure where you got that idea from. I just said I feel like it would fade after one wash or crack (the paint not the tire). I’m glad you use it, more power to you bud. But I guarantee you my Adams Polishes tire shine works much better and is easier to apply and applies more evenly than the stuff he uses in this video.

Usually any paint like product needs to be 65-70° or warmer for it to work properly.

You should use the Armor-All "Wheel, and Tire Cleaner" first, and then 'Spray' the tires black; tires collect a lot of dirt, grease, and chemicals to them. A good thorough tire cleaning should make it last a lot longer...

Also sorry to leave so many comments was there a temperature under can saying that you should use this when the temperature is over 65 degrees or did you not notice anyting

Did you use the pledge on your truck tires prior to using the spray paint? I want to use it on my truck.

We sprayed a lot of flat black on tires to hide primer over spray back in the day!

Did you prep the tire first? Looks good, let's see how long it lasts. I have used a product from Turtle Wax (black tire coat), it's not a silicone product so it doesn't sling. It is in a pour bottle, so you put on with an applicator and takes a bit of time to put on especially with the truck tires, so not as easy as the spray, but less overspray. It lasts a long time(several washes, rain etc) and if they get dirty, usually comes right off with the wash(the dirt does). It's hard to find in the auto stores and the next time I'm gonna have to order from Amazon. So far this is the bast product I have found for the tires that doesn't sling, looks good and lasts. (except now that you have shown this "paint")

I saw a guy use this and apply it with a sponge to get away from the orange peel and blobs .... also saved him from taping off. It worked REALLY well in his video too.

oh by the way that stuff is badass. it doesn't pulling off the tires that lasts about 6 months if you don't go in the dirt it's pretty badass

I think it would be better can you use that when you purchase a set of tires to spray a few coats let it dry and then have your tire set on rims but I like to use mothers it's in a red can with a black top I use that also a mother's Tire gel I use the tire gel around the rims and then they mothers spray to get in between the knobs of the tires and yours a dedicated sponge basically to mix the two you'll still get a little bit especially the size of your tires and the way they stick out but I always keep a microfiber rag what's some body spray to clean it off but love the look of your truck it's badass looking

Pressure washer will take that right off

Did you warm up the cans in warm water before spraying?

I'd scrub the tires with warm soapy water for prep first and a light first coat would prob help with the fish eye blotches

The one problem with that stuff is that you can't use it on tires with white lettering. I like the look of the white letters, particularly for off-road tires and since that's a gloss black, it wouldn't be good on those types of tires

Yes you can still use it, spray the tire, then lightly sand the raised letter with 1000 or 800 grit sand paper !!

How did this hold up?

I seen videos of people painting old tires for craft stuff with regular rustoleum..... my grandpa used to have those little people and flowers from tires. It lasted a long time. Once I fix my rims I will spray my new tires before I put them bk on my ram and see how long it lasts......

Hows the grip? It doesnt matter atleast it shines.

Best thing to do is remove wheel and tape of rim and so you get limited runs and more tyre grab and heat tyre up in the sun first

Back in the day my father used to use Pledge on his 66 Mustang because of the different paint and clear coat that used today back then pledge wood shine yeah car better than any wax wood

Use meguires 40. Uv protector. Paint will dry out the tires. No good

My dad sprays clear spray paint on his and his looks good.

Heat the cans...bucket of hot water. Alsp male sure you actually shake it well. Atomizes better, gets rid of drips.

We used to use tire black paint back in the 70's to make our tires shine for our muscle cars.

What if road salt and road chemicals deteriorate the tire paint and when it rains the paint slings on your truck paint
