dankpods collab when
3:04 that’s a second gen iPod Touch. The second gens came in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB. The third gen which is identical visually only came in 32GB and 64GB. With all touches you should not update them as on older firmware they are worth more just fyi.
Just letting you know many ipod nano models, ESPECIALLY THE GREEN 5TH GEN NANOS like to catch fire or explode. Dankpods had it happen while he was filming with one.

The iPod Mini is actually a really nice iPod to actually use nowadays. You can find battery really cheap, they're really easy to open and you can replace the 4GB HDD with a 128GB (or 256GB with a 2nd gen) SD card with a simple $10 adapter. As far as old-school iPods go, they're probably the nicest and cheapest to own in 2024. The small square Nano is a third gen, the long one with the wide screen is a fourth, the one with a camera is the fifth and the Shuffle-looking one is a sixth. The old, chunky one is a 4th gen Classic, the first and second gen used a Firewire port and the 3rd gen charged only with Firewire (even if it had the 30 pins connector) and was purely touch (no physical buttons on the front).
ngl i think i spent $3k-4k on ipods from good will, i have a box of like 100 of them sitting on my shelf 💀
I love the names you come up with for these little series, The Hampton Haul, The Texas Load, Too Many IPods/Phones 😆 great stuff 💜
Sometimes it's nice to have music with 0 distractions. I bought a modded last gen iPod with a TB of storage and put all my flac (after converting to alac of course) on it. Every;one rents their music now.
Bro is becoming the next dankpods
Always good to see a new video
Get a FireWire charger, they are a lot better then usb once!
wow this green ipod looks amazing !
I had the same 4th gen silver iPod. I loved it
if you think that "1st" generation iPod classic (which is actually a 4th gen btw) is thick, wait till you see the 20GB 2nd gen iPod, thickest iPod that Apple ever made
@Sar4hhh.

I always thought that getting a used iPod with thousands of songs still on it was like hitting the jackpot
The iPhone you saw might me an iPhone 3G or 3GS, and I’ve found one and it took hours to charge so it’s most likely still alive. I had the same problem with the apple logo thing
that black 30gb 5th gen actually DID boot up with a working HDD but the battery didnt have enough power to keep the ipod turned on. i own one of these in white and HDD's make that noise when they are abruptly cut from power
respect to the nano with pinkerton on it
10:58 “these games are useless” me on field trips😎
0:51 10/10 👏
Just mashup the phones and iPods to make a series called "Too Many Electronicz"
If I'm. not mistaken. The mini got rebranded into nano
I didn’t know Jacob R had another channel
That blue iPod has W music
That iPod that kinda chirped I have one like that. It is a 160 GB 6th gen iPod classic and it will make a sort of humming noise then chirp
More Lucky Nugget Dip!

i have an ipod still and i use it everyday with a bluetooth adapter. i will never get get rid of it 💀

That one fat iPod you thought was a first gen is a fourth gen. The battery in that is likely cooked.

@@SmokinSiliconwell I have been collection vintage apple products for years now, so I can tell them apart easily. You should probably buy a new battery for that iPod as their worth a good amount of cash and are really cool collectors items, especially since it’s 60GB.
