I spent $500 on OLD iPods from Goodwill...

Ғылым және технология

I recently bought a HUGE box of untested ipods from Goodwill, and I'm making a short series where I test and explore each one! Welcome to episode 2 of Too Many Ipods, and I hope you enjoy!
I will likely be doing a WhatNot stream where I sell all of the ipods from this series - check it out here! If you sign up using my link, you'll get a $15 credit to use on anything! www.whatnot.com/invite/jacobr
Sign up for WhatNot using the link above, then follow steps below to use your $15 credit.
1. Sign up for WhatNot using my above link
2. You'll now have a $15 credit to use on your first purchase
3. Go to my profile on WhatNot (search Jacobr)
4. Click on my upcoming livestream (called Too Many iPods)
5. Make sure to bookmark the stream - during the stream, you will be able to buy and bid on these ipods. f you're in the US, anything you buy from me for $15 or less will be free (this includes free shipping and no tax).
Make sure you are a verified buyer before the stream! I will not be selling to unverified buyers on WhatNot.

3:04 that’s a second gen iPod Touch. The second gens came in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB. The third gen which is identical visually only came in 32GB and 64GB. With all touches you should not update them as on older firmware they are worth more just fyi.

The iPod Mini is actually a really nice iPod to actually use nowadays. You can find battery really cheap, they're really easy to open and you can replace the 4GB HDD with a 128GB (or 256GB with a 2nd gen) SD card with a simple $10 adapter. As far as old-school iPods go, they're probably the nicest and cheapest to own in 2024. The small square Nano is a third gen, the long one with the wide screen is a fourth, the one with a camera is the fifth and the Shuffle-looking one is a sixth. The old, chunky one is a 4th gen Classic, the first and second gen used a Firewire port and the 3rd gen charged only with Firewire (even if it had the 30 pins connector) and was purely touch (no physical buttons on the front).

Sometimes it's nice to have music with 0 distractions. I bought a modded last gen iPod with a TB of storage and put all my flac (after converting to alac of course) on it. Every;one rents their music now.
