Whether one buys boxes or breaks, it's usually a poor financial decision. Buying singles is a much better proposition in terms of "economic efficiency". If I had to choose between breaks and boxes, I'd go breaks because it's cheaper up front costs and love the social aspect of it.

I've never done a break. Might someday. The idea of a box and sorting it just sounds like a blast to me.

I like the comparison between the breaks and the box, but I would also add buying $$$ of your favorite cards as well - then see which is best between the three.

I like breaks because I’ll never buy a $1000 box but just having a chance at pulling a huge rookie auto is worth it

I think something about breaks that was unmentioned was that if you buying a break of your favorite player or team your getting most of the cards you actually want from a product for much cheaper. Still have the chance to get a big card but if you don’t you still will get cards you like.

I prefer opening a box for most low end products ($250 or less) because the potential to pull a good card yourself is unbeatable but for mid to high I prefer breaks because they are a lot cheaper when compared to trying to by a box and get a specific hit. (Smartest decision is to just buy singles, but where is the fun in that 🤣)

I definitely prefer boxes. I just find opening them myself much more fun. Also loved the Panini Chronicles this year. Got a Hobby Box myself and landed Banchero Phoenix Auto /49 and a Gold Standard /99 in back to back packs.

Lindy Waters III is very loved in OKC He's from Oklahoma, went to college here, and OKC signed him as a Two-Way then gave him a guaranteed contract He's not an all star or anything but the kid can shoot lights out I'd love that card in my PC

Depends on who you buy the spots from and how much they say they should be worth.

Since I’ve never been in a break, I like box opening better. Both a gamble but full box is more fun

I never have any luck with breaks. Boxes always seem to pay off better. But I literally have 0%on the luck meter

I had the rockets in a 4 boxer and got jabari /22, Eason /10 and Eason /99 so breaks for chronicals

I only do a break if it is by teams and I am chasing a certain player. I do boxes if I am just looking for a little fun and am not very worried about investment as a box is no different than pulling on a slot machine.

Maybe a good video idea would be a 500$ Hobby against 100$ Break of that product something that represents a lot of how people spend on break’s compared to an expensive hobby box

I prefer a box because of it’s guaranteed a 2 autos per box. But if you were looking for a low risk probably high reward, join box breaks. Btw, big fan of you Pacman 🔥🙌 from PH 🇵🇭

I got that Exact same Jalen Green auto but to /49 looks the exact same. I also got an auto of a guy I never heard of, then I got a James Worthy 1993 Hall of Fame auto....I got a VERY DAMAGED orange of Tatum /75 I got a Gold Jalen Suggs lights and a Dell Curry auto Steph Curry's dad's auto

What is a hobby box? Vs a retail box? How do you tell the difference. Ive spent about 1100 on packs of cards from walmart, card shops, target. 1 auto, 0 numbered. Anyone tell me what im doing wrong?

Tough to compare. U should really compare best box you've opened vs best break you've been in. Boxes guarantee hits, but I never buy into breaks for nearly as much as a hobby box. Breaks are more exciting but boxes I feel are the safer bet....which aren't safe at all 😂
