Watch my first 100 days here! ➡️ • I Spent 100 Days in Sp...
I decided to survive the moon! and for me it was super fun to learn new mechanics!
I am still an.... Idiot!
Let me know if I should continue with moon survival or go to mars or something!
Also what is your favourite moment!
Space engeniers is a very complex and complicated game! it took me almost whole 200 days to learn certain mecahnics and basics of the game.
Every 100 days I will build more stupid builds and trust me I have alot.
Space Engineers is a sandbox game about engineering, construction, exploration and survival in space and on planets. Build space ships, space stations, planetary outposts of various sizes and uses, pilot ships and travel through space to explore planets and gather resources to survive.

This was great! I love seeing people struggle in Space Engineers! Just a few things to help you out: Your Drop Pod de-spawns after a while. Grind it down and place a survival kit on your base immediately. The Drop Pod is small grid. It's survival kit is made of the exact same amount of components as a large grid survival kit. Alternatively you can temporarily merge the Drop Pod to a separate grid. This updates the grid and the Drop Pod should stay, as long as it has power. Merge blocks can also be used to merge other things together like... pistons! No need for rebuilding rebuilt rebuilds. You can edit exact values in the control menu when dealing with pistons. Left-Click on a slide-bar while holding "Ctrl". This way you can set piston speeds to what ever you may dare... Experiment with the "share inertia tensor" setting when using pistons, rotors, hinges. (helps get rid of wobble) Hey, ever thought of making yourself some better Tools? Get rid of the plates as walls everywhere and replace them with interior walls (cheaper than steel blocks). Many of the plates are occupying the room/space inside the base. The plates are placed inside the rooms taking up the build space you need, to place your lights where you want. If you can't place a block, then you either don't have the initial building materials to start a block (Steel Plate, Interior Plate, Construction Component, Girder), or the space you want to place your block is already occupied by another block. This would have to do with the "collision" of different blocks. Their collision boxes vary quite drastically. When holding a block, you can switch between "Large Grid" and "Small Grid". Press "R". Small grid is much cheaper. Also quite fragile at times. Always keep an eye on your H²O levels (suit AND SHIP!) Might need more tanks... O²H² Generators can only produce a certain max output. To toggle your hud markers, press "H" I hope this helps a little. I challenge you to survive 1000 days in Space Engineers and then go back and watch your videos to laugh your silly little space engineer socks off! 😜

I thought so why my escape pod de-spawned. Thank you for the tips, next time I am playing I'll definitely come back to read them haha. See my way of playing I stay away from reading and checking guides. It might be a long run but i prefer to learn mechanics and stuff myself. If that makes sense. I will try to keep the series going till 1000 haha and we can have a reunion in a couple of years. Anyway thank you for watching! I am glad you enjoyed it!!

Keep going! You have learned a lot and it has been a blast to watch! There is still sooo much to discover. Combat is fun if you remember a few things. Never use a ship you expect to keep. Keep fighters small grid at first, try the different weapons. Then start to learn the blue print feature and projector block. Then it's fun with base mounted welders and grinders. You may want to get familiar with the faction menu too, don't want to make too many enemies. Don't worry, none of these are secrets, just core game mechanics, and still only a fraction of things to learn in this wonderfully frustrating game. The failures and hardship is what makes the success taste so sweet, but you know that already... you're a space engineer.

I dig the mining rig idea. You should just build a mobile base like that and screw tires just slap a boat load of thruster under it and you can just land at the mining location with everything. Also I think if you reinforce the main tower on the rig a bit it'll stop shaking as much. Good shit though I laughed my ass off.

Thank you so much for watching! And you never know because I do have some plans for the future to improve the mining rig! I also need to try to slap a gyro on the thing because someone mentioned I haven't! But I am glad you enjoyed the video!!

Your progression in mining designs reminds me so much of how I tackled those problems starting out as well. I probably built 10 mining contraptions before I finally hit on one that was pretty decent. Lots of trial and error and explosions and rebuilding but when it finally goes right wow it feels good. :)

I don't think I've hit the perfect one yet haha but I have an idea of what I am gonna attempt soon! 100% trial and error. I also like how brutal it can be. One second you have a ship or something and then you run out of juice and suddenly you have no ship ;)
