I Spent 100 Days On The Hardest RLCraft Config by Shivaxi
Ойындар
100 days on the Hardcore configuration by Shivaxi! This newest version of RLCraft has only been attempted by 1 in 150 RLCraft players, and very few have ever survived it. I decided I wouldn't stop until I beat the hardest RLCraft configuration in 100 days. This was the hardest thing I have ever done in Minecraft, and the longest I have ever spent on a single video. I failed dozens of times, but finally, after weeks, I managed to survive for 100 days. Here lies the story, of the first man, who survived and beat the 2.8.2 hardcore config, and still had the sanity to make a video out of it.
World Seed: -2132673200705095918
Full Run Part 1: • RLCraft Hardcore Confi...
Full Run Part 2: • RLCraft 100 days Full ...
Full Run Part 3: • RLCraft Hardcore Confi...
I have managed to upload the entire run as three unlisted videos as of 4/21! Personally, I think the entire long run is kind of boring, especially since it kind of just feels like watching a man play RLCraft slowly with periodic commentary. If you decide to watch it though, I hope you enjoy the journey!
Things about the hardcore config:
There are 1380 changes that Shivaxi made and applied to this hardcore config, and a few main ones are below:
-You start with 2 instead of 3 base hearts so skeleton shots and all crits even from enemies like trumpet skeletons will kill you in the early game.
-Amalgalich, Asmodeos, Rahovart, and a few other mini bosses wil only spawn as infernal varients. Basically they have a chance to be pretty much unkillable if you are unlucky (infernal rahovart of the vampire will insta full heal if it hits you etc).
-The hardcore config only works properly on hardcore difficulty.
-Every 1000 blocks you venture from spawn, difficulty increases by 1. Every single 1 block you move from 0,0 difficulty increases by .001. In other words enemies will hit about 25% harder per 1000 blocks (.00025 per block) up to a maximum of 20000 blocks out, which is pretty scary. At x10000 z10000 (20000 blocks out) enemies will be hitting 5 times harder than default (shivaxi already up'd default damage of all enemies in the config though, so calculating damage is rough without knowing exactly how much stronger he made enemies) and will have 20 times more hp (a normal 20 heart enemy like a zombie will have 400 hearts at 20,000 blocks out).
-You cannot make wooden or stone modded weapons or shields. So in other words I can't make a shield until I get 4 in defense and it wil be a bad vanilla shield, and I cannot make a rapier until I am 8 in attack and it is an iron rapier.
-All modded weapon's damage values have been changed. An example is Rapiers and sabers have much less base damage, making swords pretty much on par with them.
-Avian treats can only be made with fish fillets, or concopede meat, and when you make the treats you only get 1 instead of 4.
-Dragon treats only give 1 treat when made as well instead of 4.
-You spawn in a random season, so you could start in mid winter, early summer, late spring, or fall etc, you get the picture.
-Temperature changes are more extreme, so managing your temperature will be a bit more difficult.
-Full Battle towers now only spawn 1 in 1400 square blocks rather than 1 in 700 square blocks. I am not sure if all structures spawn rates have been decreased, but when exploring I could not find structures very often.
-I ended up one shotting myself against a rare zombie with thorns, so I assume rare enemy affects are also increased.
-Rare, ultimate, and infernal enemies appear to be more common.
-Many mobs combat AI has been tweaked.
-1000+ other small things have been changed, and I do not know the exact details. Most small things changed are likely to be adjustments to loot in chests, mob drops, ai, item values, and other small difficulty spikes! Shivaxi intended for this to be hard, so I am indeed curious about some of the other stuff he has changed, that I have not yet discovered!
If you read this far down, you are breathtaking :3

Mate, i felt every single step of your adventure as if they were my own. Thank you for sharing your experience, and congratulations for such accomplishment!
I kind of wish you leaned into being overly-poetic even more than you are. It's hilarious seeing the distinction between your narration and the actual fighting. For example; _The two clashed violently, the swordsman's man-made tool of destruction glancing upon the dragon's scales, yet the dragon's claws also failing to meet the flesh of their heavily armored opponent. The two were evenly matched, yet one would inevitably exhaust the other._ _Both adversaries had memorized that as fact before even meeting, however, and fought on regardless of the consequences each knew too well, blade meeting scales, claws meeting steel. Occasionally each would release their more powerful attacks; when the dragon let loose their fiery breath, and when the swordsman unleashed the power of a staff capable of summoning useful allies. Each time this happened, one side felt as though they came closer to victory._ _They dodged and weaved, both in the sky and on the ground, moving from sea to sky to desert to forest, all while attempting to connect blows on one another. Though heavily armored, the Swordsman wasn't as tough as the dragon, yet was also faster and allowed less to meet his armor, feeling the recoil with each failed dodge as the dragon cut at his thick plated armor._ Yet finally, the opportunity one of the two were waiting for revealed itself. _The Swordsman took their rapier out. The dragon was none the wiser to this change of weaponry, his last chance at anticipating the Swordsman's plan, simply thinking of the change as from one pointy stick to another._ _This became his downfall, as in an otherwise effective show of brute strength, he clamped his jaws tight upon the Swordsman, his armor coming close to buckling under the pressure. What the Dragon had not predicted, however, was the swordsman taking his rapier and, while still within the dragon's mouth, piercing it's skull through the mouth with their armor-defying rapier, of which it had saved for this moment._ _The dragon died instantly, and, as they were within the air, the dragon relaxed it's death grip as they fell, the two bodies quickly descending. The cockatrice, now revived, came to their master's aid, catching them as they fell. The two had fought for hours, but finally, the Swordsman emerged victorious, claiming it's parts to forge into powerful weaponry. To all onlookers, it could be described as two meteors coming into contact within orbit, one merely bouncing off the other, while the second was sent careening down to earth, burning up in the atmosphere as it did so, and vaporizing as it passed through, creating a spectacle for the people far below to witness._ _Finally, as the sun begun rising, the Swordsman began heading home to tell of the enormous feat he had just accomplished, yet respectful of the dragon's valiant efforts, leaving not only physical scars, but a psychological mark that he would carry on for the rest of his life; not in fear, but in remembrance of the closest flirt with death he would ever experience for the rest of his eventful life, a challenge he would respect and learn from for the rest of the time he was given."_ *Jumpcuts to Casualty using an autoclicker to farm dragons.*
