If this series continues: id recommend checking the traveling merchant every Friday and Sunday because you may find a strawberry that you could put through a seed maker, so you wouldn't have to pay that scoundrel Pierre for some.

The traveling merchant also has a chance of having one of the 6 types of fruit tree saplings in stock that is normally only really sold at Pierre's, and if your lucky, there is a chance to get them at a discount on the retail price, but I recommend the traveling merchant anyways cause there is chances for not only normally out of season/year items (on a community center run the red cabbage is the big one there) but other rare goods as well.

@@gabe2902 Rare seeds are a given purchace from the traveling merchant, but I stated my comment around things that could normally without the cart be only obtained at Pierre's, though if a person is money wise in their first year, they can get all the needed next year year1 seeds at the night market for same price as Pierre's without buying from him as well, but if you go with buying cart items to not buy from Pierre's, using seed makers are a must and usually within 2 ingame years you can become entirely self producing for seeds at least.

The travelling merchant is my go-to for buying stuff that’s difficult to find in year 1. Good idea for nabbing trees and seeds~

i like how on day 68 you proposed to Abigail and then IMMEDIATELY the next morning it's day 69 and you harvested eggplants. Normally 69 jokes are either boring or overused but this one made me laugh lol

To be honest, I didn't know what to do in stardew valley for a long time so it just kind of sat on my computer. Then I saw this, it actually gave me a sense of what to do and inspired me to commit to a farm instead of getting bored after summer starts. Also I think your choice of boycotting pierre and wooing his daughter is hilarious, please do 200 days. I'd gladly watch.

Getting the backpack doesn't require you to interact with Pierre, I think you're totally on the clear on that one.

I just want to join the crowd and say this video was absolutely hilarious. You can tell how much work you put into the video and the commentary. I like how you stuck with the anti-Pierre narrative. And the anti-capitalist satire! So refreshing to see new content creators like this.

Wow this is really well made and edited! Surprisingly I found myself laughing a lot throughout the video because of your commentary and ended up watching the whole thing in one sitting. Definitely make more if you like these kinds of videos because you've managed to keep my attention span for 40 minutes lol

There's also his quest on the new special orders board where he tries to sell the 25 gold quality produce you bring him for 25,000, then asks you to buy it all back for 2501 because no one can afford that, 1 more gold than he gave you for them. Or how some of the Stardew Valley residents mention buying high quality produce that came from "Pierre's garden", right after you sell him any.
