32:20 Turns out there is some insane glitch or exploit that I’m missing out on >:( Not that insane, it just involves repeatedly demolishing and rebuilding cabins to keep bringing in new farmhands and getting literally infinite money. However, since this technique would defeat the purpose of the entire challenge I’m just gonna retroactively ban it haHAA. Imma say the intial three boys and girl are fine, since I slapped their cabins in there when I made the file. Also, having other people earn money increases the “farm earnings” in the pause screen, so I feel like it’s only fair to snatch their starting gold. Also also go watch at least one (1) of minnow’s videos, his pinned comment died for this

Maybe you can charge up a giant money spirit bomb by asking billions of viewers to give you their starting funds (500) to get you enough money for the vault without actually earning any of it? Also, listen. If the only way you were able to beat the "No moving" challenge in Smash Bros Brawl is by enabling you to move with the C-stick, then you might as well use this glitch.

For those who dislike chairs, the crates in the mines can drop hardwood at a really low rate, so that’s not impossible to get without the chair, just annoying.

it's very important though to never remove what's already on the bulletin board. once it is completely filled to the brim with papers and thumbtacks, the prophecy will be complete.

Fun fact, if you were to lower the income percentage down to 25% in the menu before you start the game, all of the crops sold in the shops are also quartered in price. Your starting money is unaffected, and since you wont be selling anything it has no real downsides. The only problem is that house upgrades, the travelling cart, tool upgrades, farm buildings, animals, and the vault bundle are all unaffected by this price decrease. As such, these things are still off the table with your original 500g starting amount. It's pretty much only crops that are lowered in price. Just thought that would be interesting, and allow you to potentially buy more items as needed if you were to try this again. Also, if you place soggy newspaper into a recycling machine, you have a chance to get cloth from that.

Oh shoot, I had no clue that you could lower prices that way, that’s pretty sick. Definitely lowers the minimum gold by a bit since flower seeds are a necessary buy from what I can tell.

You could've planted the Star Fruit within the greenhouse since you did the Pantry before the Bulletin Board to not have to worry about it being summer or it getting smited by Zeus.

My only idea for the vault is to constantly delete the extra houses then buy back a house at the carpenter shop. This will allow you to get a player to join in as a “fresh” player. With this you will net 400 gold every time without adding (500 For the starting player, and -100 to buy the house) You just need a lot of time and another patient person. Though I have not tested this. But if this works then technically you can beat stardew without gaining any farm money.

How can we get gold coins for the vault tho?

I'm always impressed by the ever-growing amount of patience Stardew players have, 10 years for this challenge is insane. Also major props to your storytelling and editing skills! It was so entertaining and immersive, I'll definitely be subscribing

You can actually crack geodes for one coal each using a geode crusher, which you unlock from doing Clint's special order on the bulliten board. I think the cutscene triggers even if you don't collect the money from the quest log, but I could be mistaken

MY GOAT you're my favorite challenge runner ever. You're just so good at telling the stories of the run. I still think about when you turned the Mantis Village into a freaking heist movie!

Man, it's crazy to think how few subs you had while doing your kirby commentated tas that hit it big. Your production value is rising insanely quickly. Especially the sound design aspects of your production, it's so tight! Awesome videos.

So for the hard wood you could have also gotten lucky with the barrels in the mines, there's a chance when breaking a barrel to drop hard wood

I really liked the ending of this You may have failed the challenge but you went out with a massive bang, and considering that you did basically everything else except the Vault without earning gold, I'd consider this a win in my book!

this challenge feels like the mirror universe version of ArgonMatrix's Price of Perfection challenge. like its the opposite (make the least money as opposed to spend the least money) but they have similar vibes and the strategies used are similar. pretty cool

This is amazing have been watching your videos over and over for the last two days.

These videos are amazing and prove of the how good of a gamer you are I wish to see more in the future

If you play in 25% profit margins the seed prices are less so you can save more money

In 1.6, one of the books gives you a low change of getting row in treasure chests, so although it would be torturous, you can complete every room except the vault!

Oh boy! I needed this one, as someone who is graduating high school, and moving away soon to go live on a farm, moving away from a big city (No I'm not kidding) I need a way to sustain myself without needing to earn cash. I'll definitely remember to stay safe traveling down the suspicious abandoned mines nearby looking for some Iridium from the monsters in it. Another great video, the transition to the sponsor was very smooth, and yet again you nailed having a fun explanation for a big problem (Buying that board was worth it) the conundrum of getting hardwood was definitely very fun, and the simplicity of using a chair to solve it is very funny. This seemed like it took a VERY long time to make (If you see this I'd actually like to ask what the final date was in the game, just curious) but it was one of the more interesting videos. And that's saying something considering your content is always a treat to watch. 12.3/10 Would watch it (for free) again... wait no then you EARN money from that wait-

The burglars ring most likely did help, instead of doubling whatever item that mob drops, it actually rolls the chances for item drops twice, meaning you get two chances to spawn an iridium bar per mob

If getting gold from joined players is allowed, which it seemed to be, you could have demolished their homes to let new people join and murder for cash at +400 gold per home demolished and rebuilt. So it would be possible that way

@@SampleChample also it is possible to get the desert totem earlier in the game, but I forget if it is a fishing drop or a chance in the caves to dig it up. Also technically you can delete the other farmers that join your game, so you can just do that method over and over without adding to the money gained thing.
