Definitely not rush. Sig/Hog + some support would beat them easily because 3-player rush comps lack either the sustain (no MS), speed (no Lucio), or damage (no off tank) to kill Sig+Hog before they get poked to death. And Zarya would never be a real threat when she gets laughable charge when there's only 3 opponents.

Bruh I'd just emote on point with the enemy team for the rest of the game. I think Overwatch would really benefit from a kind of last resort mechanic where if enough people leave to the point there is a 2 or more player difference the game gets cancelled. You'd have to put a timer on for the end of the match to stop people leaving when they're right about to lose but otherwise it'd help alot to stop pointless unfair games from going on.

All you need is a tank duo. I tried it with a dps duo but somehow, someway, two dps isn’t enough (we played double sniper so after killing the dps it was kind of up to the tanks) to climb easily

Yeah a stack is always best, my healer fell into bronze and it was like Groundhog Day for a while 🤪🤣

I'm surprised it didn't occur to you to mention that the Moira killing the soldier and the reaper was literally the one player setting up 2 of the alts so the other alt could kill them. The 9 second reaction time wasn't even a reaction--it was all staged. They probably could have stood there longer. Also, I'm like 60% certain the Mercy was one too

@@atsukana1704 The mercy left seconds after the other 5 did. I'm guessing they have her set to toggle beam, in bronze can probably just run from cover to cover and sit there with the beam attached to an ally for participation stats.

A simple tip that's easy to incorporate, but at 12:38 when the DVa demechs, get a couple swings on baby DVa before shielding the bomb. The longer you hold your shield up while waiting the more chance it will break, and you miss out on increasing the chance of denying remech. Also, DVa is an easier whip shot target than Rein to keep inspire up, since she can't shield against it.

Also follow her to bash the remech in the likely case that she gets healed from your swings. On rein you can even kill her by swinging on her and 180ing the bomb with shield.

Getting out of bronze was the greatest experience ever. Getting into Plat, not so much 😭

I remember a Plat game-from waaaay back when KOTH was still best of five instead of three in comp-having 2 leavers on my team at the start of the fifth game. They were a pair who'd rage quit out of frustration at the game being back and forth the whole time and both teams tied. Somehow we managed to eke out a win with me on Lucio plus a Hog, a Rein, and a Zarya; just sped into point, took it first, and stubbornly kept it. Lost it to the enemy team only once. And while I like to think we all just mentally hulked out at the end, it was more likely because the other team were exhausted too and lost one of their own in the final two minutes. I think damn near everyone was relieved when the game mode was made best of three like in QP, because damn was it exhausting if both teams were trading control and victory back and forth the whole time.

Happened to me too. It was like season 3 on Nepal in a diamond game. I remeber it because the last round we were tied and we were down a team member, Lucio didn't have the auto-wallride yet, healed way less and the boop still consumed ammo. We won because, while stalling like a maniac on the wall on Sanctum, I was super low and tried to boop them off as a last resort. They were all pakced together, 3 people go down the hole, everyone is confused as fuck. Hanzo headshot their Mercy. The rest of the team arrives, it's a 5v2. They get the point and we won.

well balanced KOTH games could genuinely last 30 minutes going 5 rounds LOL, especially if there were mass rezzes or lucio stalling

I still remember one game I had when I was still bronze, where my team had 4 leavers (only me (the Rein) and an Ana) against a single leaver on the enemy team. Idk how but we somehow won that game…

I've had my fair share of bronze games, but this is the very first time I'm seeing this kind of behaviour. Sure, there's all kind of weird s happening, but this is rare.

The Soldier and Reaper on a date up top was so cute. Sometimes you need to sabotage your games to just show a bit of love.

climbing from 1650 -> 2600 on tank, the lack of leavers now is so damn nice. When I was silver/bronze I had a record five games of leavers in a row.

Legitimately bro. A LOT of shit goes down in low tier ELO in a lot of games that high ranks don't see a lot of. Or enough of. YES you can climb but this in it's consistency a long with a lot of other shit makes OW hard to climb with no team. And not everyone wants to stack up all the time.

I’m a plat dps and played on my friends bronze account for a few game cause he said his team was bad and so on. The games I played weren’t even close, one sided stomps each time. I promise that you can get out of bronze with just mechanics alone.

@@gravitystorm58 Oh I agree with you there it doesn't mean you're gonna be able to climb out of low tier ranks. But a wall you're gonna hit. Apex for example I'll get to gold but the teammates are so uncooperative and you can't 1 v 3 everything. I do agree with the mechanics. That's how I got gold on apex.

imo, this is way bronze is the hell rank and why people want to get out of it so bad and why it's so hard to get out. It's filled with account sellers, reddit trolls, smurfs and whatnot. If you're bad at the game (or lacking the skill, however you want to put it), it doesn't mean that you shouldn't have the opportunity to at least try and have fun.

This is exactly why bronze is so stupid if you’re trying to climb up to a new rank. I hover in the high bronze/low silver area every season and don’t care much about climbing to higher ranks since I just play for the fun of it and goof off, but even so, I still try so that my teammates and opponents can hopefully have an enjoyable game as well. It’s irritating when near every match is a 4-5v6 and you can’t even leave spawn.

Been trying to say you can get hard stuck in bronze but the streamers never wanna listen. I’ve got an account I made when I first started playing on PC so obviously I sucked, and was put in bronze. I’ve gotten way better at the game but couldn’t climb out. I made a second account to start fresh and all 3 roles are in diamond on that account. I go back to my first account at the start of every season to play a while to see if I can climb, but it’s impossible

It is definitely 100% not worth climbing out of bronze unless you really love to play all day every day. I'm not sure why placing and climbing are on such different systems but I guess blizzard doesnt mind people buying new accounts since it's free money for them.

Yeah Im a gold player who dropped 2 whole ranks one season entirely because of leavers. Was like mid-gold. Did my placements, 7/10 included leavers on my team (this waswhen we still did ten placement matches). Placed in silver. Then proceeded to have leavers in nearly every single match until I ended up in bronze (like 1300 I think). Took me like a whole 2 seasons to climb back up to where I was, and even longer to eventually dip my toe in plat. But oh God. Low ELO leavers are real.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but there's only 1 constant in your games: you. If others leave and you don't, you will effectively climb. If that doesn't happen you're doing something to actively decrease your chances of winning.

Sure, idk, probably. This was years ago lmao. But when you're 1, 2, 3+ players down in your matchup vs the enemy team. There's only so much you can do. Again, never had any illusions of some god tier overwatch player. I'm a lowly gold. Only capable of making such plays as a gold. 🤷 I'm not throwing all the blame. Just a portion lol.

Hearing u actually give tips in one of these was awesome, I like spectating bronzes more that roasting bronzes.

Being stuck in bronze I've seen this happen, but usually it's an entire team that'll do it. We'll end up spawn camping them, and they'll come out one at a time to die.

The rein choosing to go off the map instead of hitting the wall made me cry laughing

I was once in a comp game in high gold and the enemy team was 6 bots controlled by 3 computers. Each character was paired up with another character and they did the same thing where they stopped moving when their counterpart was moving. We assumed it was bots because all they did was bee-line to point on Blizzard World. Also, the accounts used to be super high and were not played on for many many seasons. It was one of the craziest experiences I have ever had in comp.

Being a scientist in Flats book = leave at a certain time, then follow the on-screen directions for when the rest can leave.

I had a 1v6 game one time as Orisa. It went as well as you’d think

I'd just jump around in spawn at that point because you're only prolonging the inevitable.

I think what happened with the leavers is: The guy with the accounts gets reaper kicked from the game. 2 minutes later, he leaves with soldier so he can tank his sr without getting timed out. The moira just happened to leave at the same time because of the 2 minute leaving penalty going off. Edit: someone mentioned it nvm

Games like this is the reason I had to get help getting out of low bronze because, its full of account sellers, people that rage quit and people that have nothing to lose because after a certain point of getting so low into broze you cant come back. The only reason I was able to get out was because in qp I would absolutely dominate everyone with my reaper because again previous low bronze and eventually my invisible qp rank god high enough to actually find decent people

Honorable mention at 18:40 to Joshuag29. Shielding in a way to protect himself only himself from the shatter and the bomb. That way if Jynx hadn't shattered that mercy out of the game D.VA would have bombed her out of it instead.

Gold and below OW is officially dead because this is basically every match now. I played 2 days in a row and didn't make a single match without a troll, thrower, leaver, or very clear smurf. Actually kind of sad.

My first Competitive game I played Mercy, and the map was Horizon Lunar Colony (in...2017 or '18?); literally my whole team left during the second match. I didn't know what else to do, because I hadn't played Competitive before and thought I'd be reprimanded by the game, so I stayed the whole time. Enemy team and I just danced/emoted outside of the Attacker spawn until the timer ran out and the Symmetra decided to kill me.
