I SOLD EVERYTHING, Quit My 9-5 And Moved To Thailand

Follow me on my journey as I show you around where I now live in Pattaya, Thailand.
Back in early 2022 I lost had no money, car, job, I was 30 years old, living at home with my mum. I made the decision to lock myself away and embark on a self-development journey, which lead me to becoming an Online Fitness Coach. It has been a tough journey but things are going well enough for me to vacate to Thailand and live in Pattaya, while I study the language.
When I first thought of quitting the 9 to 5 and starting my own business online, I always had the vision of moving abroad. Working remotely in Thailand has always been a dream of mine, and now it's a reality.
If you're looking to start a business online, look at what skills you currently have and if you can turn that into value for others. Before you know it, you may be moving to Thailand to work online 😉
This is the first video of many I will be making so follow along with my journey and Subscribe! 🙏

I’m not sure what you mean by the UK being totally finished honestly. Is it immigration? Cost of living? It often seems that when this phrase is throw out what it actually translates as is “I am not able to live in this place for various reasons, or dislike something about, so that means I will say that it’s “finished” instead of admitting that the issue is really with myself…sorry for being blunt, but that’s usually what I get out of it. I have lived in Thailand for years, but one thing I don't do is make comments on the state of my country failing as if that is the reason I don't live there. They also hold up Thailand as some beacon of freedom and everything the west isn't, when in reality there are some very real social problems here and in many many ways, a whole lot less freedoms than you get in your home countries... Plenty of people from all over the world want to come to settle in my country from everywhere (they want to go to the the UK too.) with this noted, I think its hard to really say things like "the west is failing"...no, it's more that it doesn't fit our lifestyles, and that is fine, but it doesn't mean anything else other than that. I also think that moving to a country like Thailand and expecting to just work online or remotely is a bad plan long term. You should really look into investing, opening a business in the country, that way you pay taxes and set yourself up for potential permanent residency. Working online, while maybe providing good income, isn't really best for long term planning.

Hey mate. Awesome guy, good voice, presentation, video editing , and music. This channel has a great potential to success. Concentrate on the topics. Most older successful expats' channels in Thailand have as a maximum of 80K to 100K subscribers. Wish you all the success 👍😊 to overpass that number.

Hey man, congratulations and nice video! I'm at exactly the same point in my life, and pretty scared to sell all my belongings this December when I return to clear out my rental flat in Berlin since there's the same BS happening in Germany, with a massive housing shortage and no way I'll find another cheap flat like that ever again. BUT - there's really no perspective in Europe anymore, and the quality of life in SE Asia is just too good, rooftop pools and all. Am still scared about whether I'll be able to make enough money remotely, but surely things will fall into place. Good luck to you man, keep it up!

Great motivational video and loved hearing your story. I currently live in someone's basement just so I could pay off my debt, which I have and saving up right now. And you're so right, we all tend to live to show off our lifestyles to others, which nobody really cares about. So good you took that year to work on yourself. By the way, Have you read the book Profit First? Awesome book that will help you manage your money. Also, Crush it by Gary Vaynerchuk.

Congrats on working on yourself and finding yourself in Thailand. Man I've had a job since I was 17 and I'm 41 now. Have grinded it out at the same company making 6 figures for the past 10+ years but was never really happy. I went to Thailand for a few days because my little brother was on a asia singing tour with his band and absolutely fell in love with everything in Thailand. These types of videos plus my trip made me really want to leave everything behind and just live simpler for sure. Easy sub and excited to see your journey and maybe be in Thailand in the near future. If you could talk about how to stay there long term that would be good content. Like how to buy a condo, renting, how to extend your visa if you are not retired, etc. I would also love to know how the gyms are there too. I work out quite often as well and definitely would pay a premium for a nice gym. Maybe you can be the Jessie James West of Thailand hahaha. Anyways glad I came across your channel!

Ah you'll love it here, a great pool and snooker scene! Plenty of 8 ball, 9 ball, killer pool tournaments around. "Double Kiss" in pattaya is a professional pool place, 230 baht per hour to rent table but high quality. There is another called "MEGABREAK" But many bars hold competitons too which is advertised around. Some good players here so bring your A game 😉
