So many reactors seem to miss that Ren's singing with the backing singers and singing beautifully... Ren had a week of from treatment, was back in Brighton and decided to try and put something together. He wrote this arrangement, got hold of Kai, the bassist, an old friend and recruited 2 local girls as backing singers. A couple of brief rehearsals, then he secured a venue (his local pub) for 2 hours. He sets up the equipment, audio and recording, another quick rehearsal, then recorded live, in a single take! From start to finish, accomplished in days! Then back to Canada to resume his treatment, where he also did the production, of course, probably while having an IV in his arm, lol! Ren's incredible! :)

Title: “Message in a Bottle”. Released: 1979. Artists: Police (British rock band), Sting (lead singer). He knows so much music, he has a covers from 1920 till today. Love the break down and love your beautiful personality.

He's incredibly talented... what was the 1920s cover? He's unbelievably good already, but if he pulled off a Bubber Miley cover, I don't think I would be able to close my mouth for a year with amazement... but wouldn't put it passed him to be able of doing it.

I can tell you this, I think women(and some men) love this performance in a special way. 😍😍🔥🔥Loved your reaction so much. I've seen a few obnoxious and meanspirited comments to those videos and I hope you didn't receive any. I think people need to keep in mind that there is so much to marvel at in these videos that it's easy to miss something. One second you're astounded by Screech's verbal and physical assault and the next you're wondering what the neighborhood must be thinking hearing Ren, then you're blown away by his acting, and then you're noticing how Sam makes the camera move so smoothly around Ren, then Ren sings them you've missed a line or two. The three videos are a barrage of art. Don't feel bad. There's absolutely no way anyone got everything the first time and I think all of it is equally important. Sorry to be so long winded. Actually, this song took 10 days from concept to video. It was one continuous shot but not the 1st take. It was shor at Valentinos bar in Brighton and they needed the bar back at 3 pm, so I'm sure they started in the morning sometime. Kai, on bass is a member of Ren's regular team, as he is in charge of filming the bts and pists on Ren's Petreon. I watched the bts for this bideo and it realky was fascinating. . Filmed by Samuel Perry-Falvey, the same guy who filmed Hi Ren and the Tales. There us a video out if Ren practicing this sitting on the couch with an IV in his arm and a nurse nearby. And yes he does look hot.😂

Well the song "Back on 74" is actually from the group "Jungle" and not from Marvin Gaye ..but I understand why you thought on Marvin Gaye´s "I heard it through the grapevine" which has a slight similar but not the same chord progression//melody at that particular short part BUT Ren performed it/sung it as like as Marvin Gaye would had done would it be his song... The actual thing of that retake is though, that Ren - right after the chorus - then already played on guitar the chords of the "Police song" - "Message in the bottle" while still performing "Back on 74"... those "Message in the bottle trademark chords"- so to say - just worked tremendously good for that other song as well....and at the end after his rap interlude he then actually performed as closure the first verse of "Message in the bottle" to the right chords
