As i have noted in the past, the person sitting at the table who can transcribe ideas and thoughts into visual representations by pencil, pen or marker has the advantage and can lead the discussion and formulation of ideas. Quick methods of sketching ideas on paper within a group provides direction and pathways to more and better ideas. Learn to sketch, it is important.

Absolutely agree, being able to communicate ideas in different medias and forms is the most important skill to have as a designer!

Thank you! I decided to take one for the team and fill the niche! I knew I wasn't alone in being disappointed that there was little/no tutorials, help or even just general knowledge about the field on youtube and hope to fill that need for many current and future LA's out there!

Great channel! Would love to see some videos on drawing techniques. I'm currently a Landscape Design student in Australia and we don't look at any of this stuff.

Sure thing! Drawing and sketching is slowly becoming obsolete! but I think it's still a great fundamental and a really useful design tool to have in your arsenal!

What a wicked challenge! I’m just learning Morpholio and I think that would be a great way of learning, without the project pressure. Also, turn on the record option in settings so that we ca see our progress. I take a casual life form drawing class and it’s a great exercise to loosen up, remove the pressure and the progression of skill is rather outstanding after just 20-30 hrs….that whole “10,000 Hrs” theory, but faster!

Nice video’s thanks. Keep it up the Chanel Will grow. There is a lots material over normal architecture but very few landscape architecture. Morpholio is a great program but miss a begin to end course over project concept, sketching, different perspective, presentation with ai or a.e. Or photoshop. The whole process is missing. I normally start in Morpholio or SketchUp but then rendering can be done with v ray and the the presentation with the adobe pack of program. Can you make a video content about the whole proces?

Thank you for the recommendations! There is definitely a lot planned in the next few months on specific tutorials for morpholio, photoshop and more. Have had a few people ask for an entire process on Morpholio! I will be sure to include a video on that soon!

@@DesignItGreen the missing knowledge is how to combine all them together. We start with sketching then modelling and creating the prototipe with sketch up if it is finish then we need to present it and so modify with Photoshop or other adobe program. The entire procedure is missing

@@DesignItGreen have a look at the you tube channels peoplestv educations they have being doing some nice tutorials in the last years yet it does not exist a course that cover the entire procedure for landscape design from sketch to 3d model to render en to folder presentation with de adobe softwares.
