I loved all you found at the early bird sale, and your interactions with the sellers.

I still use a digital camera when I go to cemeteries to photograph headstones for Find A Grave site. It keeps them separate from my personal photo's. JS....I had my garage sale recently--voted Most Organized Sale--and chatted awhile with a Amazon reseller and talked about who we watch on KZread and you guys were on both our lists....Keep up the great video's.

Yeah, I understand that. I'd love a hot tub for the 5 to 6 days a year I would use it. But, couldn't justify the expense at that point.

Goodness! I guess a bunch of people got up on the wrong side of the bed today....😅. We were always told, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."! I think you both did great and are kind and respectful. I'm sure homeowners appreciate that. A little kindness goes a long way. Have a blessed weekend! 😊

One thing I think is nuts is when you buy clothes they look great. Then you cram them in a box or bag and they are all wrinkled

That floor lamp at time 26.41 looked like it had a Capiz shell shade. That was probably a $500-$600 lamp.

Cashmere is not bad, but if you find rare colors, most interesting colors it can sell super well, even for not great brands… great brands though is where it’s at too!!! Brunello Cucinelli, Loro Piana etc… awesome to be able to pick a yard sale 23 hours in advance hahaha

On some of the vintage 40s/50s clothing, do some research on sizes from the past until now. As people put on physical bulk body wise, the manufacturers eventually changed the sizing standards!!!

Here in NZ, we noticed that lots of people say it is against the rules to try get into garage sales the day before, but when we went the day before we saw those same people, they will say and do almost anything to get in first. There are only two rules I think, be first and always be nice to the sellers and other pickers. Always good to see you get great stuff.

Amazing how much the woman had.. (High end hoarder.) You both did great sourcing.. Wonder how the other Resellers showed up a day early as well??

That red brick building and the garages are kind of neat looking, at about 6 minutes in. Maybe someday you can flip buildings : P

I agree about the digital cameras. I've sold 2 my dad had stored for years after seeing these thrifting videos. They sold within the week for over a $100. Inexplicable!

Wow the prices at the "early sale" were crazy.

just a suggestion ( or you probably already know) look for Holt Howard Santa Mugs on those Christmas tables where you got the 2 navity sets. Also, outside in the garage was a valuable cookie jar ( like $60) it was a baby chick shawnee cookie jar; that sale looked fun! And the people were so nice. The best type of sale!

I bought a Chanel bag last year that ended up being fake. It had a Chanel dust bag and box with it too

It’s a thing with those cameras. My daughter and some of her friends use them. I ended up giving her my old Canon camera and she uses it all the time. They like how the pictures turn out. She downloads the pictures from the SD card to her iPhone with an adapter from we got Amazon.

Literally showed up to a garage sale 23 hours early yesterday! Garage was open there was stuff everywhere they didn't let me look tho 😂 I ended up buying an area rug from them this morning for the house 🎉

Why are y'all standing in the sun? 109° here today. We have year-round sales here, so I don't venture out for the next 2 months unless I see some crazy buy at an air-conditioned sale. Hey I watch you guys all the time and I have a question, i'm a part time reseller and have found some PS2 games Fatal frame 1, 2 ,3 and Silent hill origins all sealed and if I sent them in the be graded would be worth even more but the price toget them all is $600 maybe a few bucks less if i'm lucky. Its a lot to pay but looking at what graded copies of these games are going for it looks good but a lot of money to put down on them. just wondering what you would do? Thank you for your time.

I haven't sent anything to be graded. It does sound like some of what you have definetly qualifies for items you may want to get graded. I'd check ebay and see the difference between what graded and non graded are selling for and go from there.

A + $5k purse isn’t going to flake like that…

If the Chico's purse had a competitor for $75, why would you list yours for $50? That's a really big discount. I know you want to sell quickly, but it seems to me that if resellers keep doing that, there will be a race to the bottom and everyone misses out on better profits. You guys are really nice folks from what I can tell. I am just curious as to why you would discount that much. Wouldn't $60-$65 be better? Thanks.

Well, none have sold and I don't want to sit on it forever. We might try 60 and then scale the price down with sales over time if it doesn't sell.

We use a 6x6x48 and 4x4x36 box for clubs and a 12x12x36 for bags. We ship them via UPS ground.

They had music playing during the sale so when one of us wasn't speaking it was hard to keep the original audio in. Hence the voiceover parts.

Regardless if people let you in a day early. Now all the Not resellers got screwed! Especially with the Cashmere sweaters! Older lady know this guy giving her stuff away way to cheap?

Well, I wasn't the only one buying in advance so the sale was already and was going to further be picked over the day before. I wouldn't say they got screwed. There were a literal ton of sales the day the one sale happened so everyone had opportunity to find all kinds of awesome items.

I feel the need to add additional context. You as a reseller are responsible for the items that you source. It is OK to ask someone selling you something questions to get an idea of their place of origin. This isn't a matter of being rude but of being a prudent reseller on ebay and other platforms.

If you're speaking about the athleta, I already answered below. But, the short answer is as a reseller we're all responsible for what we buy and put on ebay and other platforms. It was an unusual amount of identical nwt items and it isn't about being rude or not being rude when it comes to asking about their origin.

I have a theory on the cameras and it is NOT GOOD! They can’t be traced like cell phones can. Does that give anyone a hint? I hope I am wrong. As a survivor I know these offenders will do anything to not get caught. I hate to even mention this but you brought it up saying you never see anyone actually USE them….another reason I feel they are not used in public. Also you can use a dark room to develop the pics.

Hate it for the people that got up early and wanted something at this sale because its gone

I mean the sale was already pre picked and I was invited in. The vast majority of people who resell or just go to garage sales for fun would have stayed. And I would not have blamed them for doing so. I did expect some people to have this reaction and I can see your side of the argument. The actual day of the sale had tons of other sales. There was a ton of opportunity to buy amazing stuff out there.

It's not unprofessional. As a reseller you are liable for the goods you list on platforms like ebay. Knowing the origin of something is important. It was an unusual quantity of brand new high end athletic gear. It's reasonable to ask.

No to crazy about how you pressure older people to give you a discount. Like the lady who was selling NFL jackets new! You kept beating her up on different techniques of marking them down! Ultimately you bought four new jackets for $65 and sold them for $235 each! By the end of the beat down the ladies voice was shaking!😡

I'll make one more note. In this video 4 years later I'm literally paying more than is asked on items and this channel has given thousands to charity. So, I'm overall pretty proud overall of how things have worked out. I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment.
