I have learned so many wonderful things from the different monsters. Barroth: Take some time to relax from time to time. Arzuros: Always make sure you eat to stay healthy. Bombadgy: A little cold blooded murder is ok in moderation.

imo the existence of scorned makes magnamalo's design so much worse. magnamalo is in that middleground where it clearly wants to edgy and epic, but not enough to justify its design. scorned does that succesfully, its ACTUALLY cool and edgy to the point that i dont mind if it has plot armor. (its those damn back spikes man, i cant get over it. the fur on scorned is so much better lol)

@@gore6065I’ve personally never had an issue with magnamalo being spiky all over. He uses his ENTIRE body as a weapon when he divebombs his prey so it always made sense to me that he has spikes concentrated around his back and front area, to inflict max smash/shredding damage when he crashes into a target and spins. This might also be a stretch, but I also thought that the back spikes where to deter monsters like rathalos from trying to pick him up and limit his mobility in the air, might be a stretch though.

Malzeno and Primordial Malzeno are the goats of 5th gen for me cause of not only their look and moveset, but their lore. Such an amazing monster

I was hoping he would get into S, but I’m not surprised he did. Violet Mizutsune has probably one of the greatest colour schemes in all of Monster Hunter. And I normally would say imo but I honestly feel like it is just the perfect colour scheme, like it’s bound to tickle everyone’s brains.

Yes, Wulgs have what they call "hookclaws", which they use to grapple bigger prey. (This is why they can and do grapple you)

I've never noticed that Kestodon and Gastodon have mammally ears until watching this. Or that Paolumu had wrist pads! Or that Vall Hazak's outer mouth may not be its own! Btw, the "geuse" in Bazelgeuse is a reference to Betelgeause, so the most accurate pronunciation of that part is "juice".

I think the only controversy would be his placements of Nergigante and Kulu Ya-Ku. Hedgehog Dragon is just a cool fight, no elements, lots of breaks with his spikes so there's good feedback from connecting, and most people find the spikes kind of neat, I'd think. On the other hand, nobody likes Big Bird, as funny as the headgear is, because he's just annoying; jumping around, stunning, making half his hitbox a deflect zone. And maybe people won't think gajau need to be that high up. But who cares.

I like Kulu. Not a great fight but he has a good design and fun ecology. He's just nice to follow around. Also that Final fantasy crossover quest with the super big one is really fun.

Not sure if you ever got into god eater at all, but it would be super cool to see an aragami tier list like this with just knee jerk reactions. Even if its just you (assuming you have little experience with the series) It has some wicked cool and absolutely strange designs. Magnamalo always struck me as more of an aragami than a mon-hun creature. Anyways i completely get it if you never touch that series for vids especially considering the algorithm but thought id throw it out there

@@austins3924 I don't know if Connor told you, but Bombadgys comically rocket forward and explode if you poke them with your weapon. They even survive the impact, somehow. Also, because they have a ton of explosive gas built up in their bodies, sometimes you can see them fart. They are very funny creatures.

On the wingdrake thing, I'd recommend looking up frontiers Guanzarumu "The Emperor Conqueror Dragon" he has a wingdrake army at his disposal and they do partake in the fight though they act more as part of his attacks (most notable is an attack that has them swoop and grab you and chuck you off the arena resulting in an instant cart.) So his fight can be summed up as the ultimate Velocidrome hunt. He's basically the raptor monster teamwork gimmick slapped on a immensely deadly elder dragon.

@@peytonmacmillan9047 the reason i mentioned Wilds there was the reveal trailer showed an emphasis on massive amounts of small monsters on the map at once. that and the fact that things like great izuchi and rakna kadaki existed in Rise. it gives me hope for other drome type monsters to be more unique in the future.

@@angellara7040 welp, atleast that confirms that austin would like Vajra and Dyaus Pita (Heavenly Father, not Resurrection Pita).

I believe base World is free with PSplus, but you still have to purchase Iceborne. Also, I would not recommend for him to start with Rise since the fast pace combat might change his perspective of World, (take it from someone who started in Rise) especiallt if the clutch claw wasnt in base.
