I show Dad EASIEST way to get out of ANY Bunker - LIVE GOLF LESSON

Спорт

Bunker shots are supposed to be one of the easiest shots in golf, certainly according to the professionals.
But how do you find them?
I was with my Dad this week and his thoughts echoed the thoughts of so many golfers who come to me struggling with this part of the game.
"Danny it's ok for golf professionals, they play out of perfect sand every time, I have to deal with golf bunkers that are rock hard...I will often leave it in the bunker or blade the ball over the back of the green. Is there something I have to do differently?"
The answer is yes.
Firstly we need to make sure you have a sound bunker technique. I've something super simple I know you are going to love 😁
Then you have to assess the sand and make some small adjustments to your bunker set up depending on how hard or how soft the sand is.
I promise you it's not difficult once you know how.
In todays golf video, come and look over my shoulder as I give my Dad a bunker lesson. I cover everything you need to know, bunker strike, distance control and even long bunker shots.
Come and join me now and let me show you how to make bunker shots one of the easiest shots in golf.

ABOUT DANNY
-----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On KZread and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

Another great video. And your father is once again a great student, a role model for all of us - young and elder golfers. And you are so gifted explaining complicated things easily. But the vidoes with your father always touch me especially as a son. It's wonderful to see how respectful and loving you are with each other. And even though he never makes it a big issue, you can tell at every moment how proud your father is of what you have become. You both are an example for all fathers and sons. Very touching. I wish you and us many more such training sessions. All the best.

Danny like many others I love it when you’re teaching your Dad. It makes it 100% relatable. His chipping lesson changed my game - for the good. I can’t wait to head to the practice bunkers to try this. As a senior golfer I feel more comfortable practicing because I know it will improve my game. Thanks for helping us “oldies”. Great lesson with your lovely dad. Many golfers like me play bunker shots where there is little sand. Tour players have a lot of fine dry sand almost every time. Great to have a bunker lesson with firm sand. Also tour players play on lush, green fairways & perfect greens. I think tour players would find our typical courses a lot harder to get their very low scores. Many thanks to DANIEL & HIS GREAT DAD.

The best Bunker video I have seen by a million miles. So well explained and de-mystified. The key takeaways for me are to concentrate on the blade and use a square stance and face - I have for 30 years been concentrating on the heel of the club with wide open stance and face. Flaming obvious I know, but there you go. Can't wait to try this in the practice bunker. Just one request - it would help to show a summary screen at the end with the key take away points as an aide memoire as difficult to watch a video on the practice ground. 1. Straight stance. 2. Open lead foot and knee pointing out 3. Ball JUST ahead of centre inside lead heel (I have always had the ball way forward.) 4.Weight favoring front foot - to stop leaning back in swing. 5. Square face - to start with 6. Point butt of club to belly button. 7. Let club fall (also key for me - I have normally had to hit the sand so hard to get only a short distance. 8. For distance - longer takeaway 9. For height open face - but still concentrate on blade . By the way - you may need to change the name of your channel to Danny Maude and Dad - he's a star and I can absolutely identify with the way he was thinking throughout. Please bring him into some more videos. Your channel is excellent, but this video was a revelation for me. Thank you so much to both you and Dad.

This might be my favorite video you've ever done. Not just for how informative it was but seeing your relationship with your dad and how humble he was to take instruction from his son was very heartwarming. He must be insanely proud of you. What a great video. Keep these coming. Oh, and if i ever make it across the pond to your area I definitely want a lesson! I suck and you could even record it and use it on your channel. lol

Finally, Danny I believe U solved me golf armangeddon. I don't fear bunkers but some times I get out in 1 but in most cases I need 3 or 4 strokes , ha, ha and ruins my round. I watched many many video's and consider the setup and stroke basics every time I am in. However, your background info/detail explanations are the AHA for me. In particular using the club weigth and the toe are gold for me. ps great move to have follow amateurs that struggle with certain aspects and instruct them. I think saying that's the way to go, I speak for many subscribers. For me, again a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ instruction.

This tip is pure gold! I play to a 22 handicap (which you have helped me improve from a 26 4 weeks ago). The bunkers on my home course are deep with heavy, coarse sand that is very thin in spots, not easy to get out of. My plan was always to hit short of the green side bunkers and rely on a decent short game which may help avoid a big number, but also turns every hole into a bogey hole and limits my chances to lower my scores. Being able to reliably get out of the sand has enabled me to be a bit more aggressive and get some better par chances! Thanks so much!

Great Vid Danny, everyone has respect for Pete Cowan and I’ve watched him demonstrate this set up but you have clarified it much more, especially the importance of exiting the stroke left and also letting the club just fall with gravity. Like many golfers, I usually get the ball out ok but a bit unpredictable, probably because I try to actually “hit” the sand with some force. More like this !

I agree. Great lesson. Can't wait to try. Pete Cowan is clearly one of the best. However, I find him a bit cryptic, especially for average golfers. He needs an interpreter. Enter Danny Maude.
