My Dad's this way, I can do it myself. He just doesn't want people looking at his property. And that's okay. I probably wouldn't put our yard on YT either. And it gets overgrown often. We live on a decently busy street & every spring at least one person is leaving their card. But I like to know what's growing, or what trash is turning up. So me & hubs take care of it eventually.

IMO, the ex feels “in control” by allowing the land to look “trashy” while woman keeps her’s nice.

Sadly, the ex is probably the type of person that would never think of doing a good deed just for the sake of doing it. As a fellow North Carolinian, I'm quite proud of you guys. May the Lord bless you, and maybe one day he'll reach those who have no comprehension of kindness.

The ex should be made accountable for the junk, and made to clean it up.

Her yard looks amazing. You guys did a wonderful job as always. I hope the new owners of her house calls the town, city, county, whomever and complains and I hope he regrets what he could have received for free. In my opinion, she got the divorce and is better off.

One of the cars is an early 1950's Chevrolet. The other one was an early 1960's Duster. My father had one, and it took 2-3 people to start it, and we had to drive with the windows cracked open because of the exhaust fumes! He finally sold it to a junkyard. The Chevrolet was a very common, middle class car. My parents had one of those when they were first married. 😊

If the car you call a Chevrolet is at 0:51, you are mistaken. The tail lights do look similar, to Chevrolet but the long chrome emblem, on the trunk lid does not fit. Check Google images. No offense, just FYI. 😁✌🖖

Well, at least the Blessing Boys were able to salvage something after a dismal start. After the ingrate refused permission to have his property done, Justin and his sons took excellent care of his ex-wife’s property. Anybody that would have some junkmobiles in his front yard has to have some serious issues. The Blessing Boyd came through in the end. That’s all that matters.

Operative word here EX 😅. I'm shocked he hasn't been reported and charged for that mess.

She DOES have a sweet kindness to have such an ingrate in her life. Choices we make when we are young & know everything are unfortunately the blueprint for our future. This is the second lawn transformation I’ve watched today that the owner had a problem with free help. I can’t imagine why anyone whose property looked like either of these would turn down a good thing. I will never understand ungrateful people. Great job guys!

I don't think it's about being ungrateful. If someone came up to my house offering something for free I'd be super suspicious. These days us elderly people have to be careful of scams.

I think this was a true version of 'Karma'. He's her EX for obvious reasons. Even though he's here ex, she still TRIED to do good by him. He didn't return her kindness, and he got what he deserved, nothing. Well, now he'll get to see what he really missed out on when he sees her beautifully manicured property. I hope he's a little jealous and ticked when he finds out they didn't charge her. Blessings on her for her donation to the cause; that spoke volumes on her character. 'Karma' knew the history of this pair, and she was the one who truly deserved to be blessed. I'm so glad to hear that she gets to move AWAY from his property, and hopefully be done with him. I feel bad for the new neighbors though.

Great job again doing her yard. Too bad about the Ex-husband. QUESTION - Can you please consider putting more before and after pictures of the yards at the end. The suggested videos cover up some of your before and after pictures and, personally, I really, really like to see how wonderful you made the yards look from the beginning to the end. I always wonder that some people have such large properties to maintain when the homeless have difficulty finding a spot to put a tent up, when some are working full time but cannot afford rent. I am not blaming the old lady for her fortune; is what it is.

@@JediJan I I find it wondrous that you wonder about such a thing. There is plenty of room for everybody to own land. There is plenty of land covering the Earth for every person to have their own space. The amount of space that one person has versus another has got nothing to do with it. Improve the social living conditions and when politics/government works as the forefathers in America conceived it, more people will be able to afford a home on some land -- if they want it. Not all people want it. When the United States functions as it ought to function, when we're free of the influence of socialism, and when a free market works, then more people in this country than any other country, are enabled to have their own place, whatever size it may be. But as someone who dealt with a lot of homeless I can tell you that many homeless people are homeless because of poor choices. They did not get the help and the training that they needed to live a well balanced life. Then there are the ones that I encountered working at a free soup kitchen that choose to be outdoors at all times. That is what they want. They don't want to be encumbered with anything.

That man didn't know what kind of blessing you would have had if you were able to finish his yard with a awesome it's always when you do the work that you do

The car my dad drove in high school in the early 1960’s was left on his grandparents’ farm for decades. In fact, it’s probably still there. It wasn’t stolen-no dead bodies-I inspected it as a curious young child. I suspect it represented memories of youth. Often hoarding is a trauma response. It could be that the cars were his or his parents and the vegetation growth tracks the passage of time. Removing the vegetation could re-open an old wound-especially if someone he loved died in one of the cars.

I read the comments. I understand what your conclusion for not mowing would be to keep the old cars hidden. That sure would not help if he were to try selling his property because anyone can see by examining the property up-close that the vehicles are there. Where we live we have to keep our lawns mowed and there is a law stating that any vehicles on the property have to have registered license plates on them.

The car backed up to the building is an old 60s T Bird (Ford Thunderbird)

That first yard really was behind and people will enjoy seeing the cars as they pass by. An unusual and good effort. Very nice you could put some polish on the lady's yard, and the help mowing the massive back area was a gift. Noted that when your sons found they lacked some basic equipment, they didn't give up, they just found ways to keep working and get it all done. Thank you to all.

I've seen those cars because I grew up with cars in the yard, too. They're call hunks of rusted junk that's going to take a lot of money to haul off because they're beyond restoration. What a waste. So my guess is two things: He's a 'car guy' that doesn't want anyone touching his babies he's left to rot. Or two: he's hoping no one notices them so he doesn't get called out for garbage and has to pay.

The boys are becoming very proficient with the hand tools. Impressive. Blessings on your family.
