@@SwiftReactions… Yeah, I’ve had a few family issues to deal with & 2 health scares in my family… One was mine, which resulted in a 3-day stay in hospital (I was later cleared) & the more serious one involving my 2 year old daughter who is now on the road to recovery I’m happy to say. Seeing her gorgeous smile in the morning makes my day 💖😁💖. All is good now though & I hope you & your loved ones are well also 🤞😉

@@SwiftReactions … Thankyou my dear. Our dog especially was worried about Jessica (my daughter) as she is his best friend in the world & adores being around her. He’s also her bodyguard as NO ONE he doesn’t know can get within 30 feet of her & he’s been very protective of her since we first brought her home from the hospital after she was born. We have a 6 year old German Shepherd… Who is also a low maintenance, yet highly effective deterrent against religious door-knockers 😂😂😂

As a Spaniard who used to live in the UK... I have to mention, so everyone knows, the local authorities in Brighton have a history of supporting basking artists. You just let them know you're gonna do your thing, and they will send a couple of uniforms to ensure safety. If the crowd is big... They'll close the road. Just amazing

This is the North (North Street) end of Ship Street in Brighton, England. It is a place Ren and other musicians love for the narrowness of the street and the natural reverb from the houses opposite, so the busking bands do not need a monitor speaker, meaning fewer equipment to carry.

This is a guerrilla performance. The band let fans know where they will be playing and they hope to finish before they get moved on... or, that is the impression I get. This band are so good at covers I no longer seek out the originals as I don't want to be disappointed. This band is so good that not Ren but Romain's solo was the biggest highlight. I have watched this maybe 100 times but it is still amazing. Performed on the streets of Brighton.

So the other members of the band in this video are Glenn Chambers (Drums) Gorran Kendall (Bass) Romain Axisa (Lead Guitar). Gorran and Romain have since both launched Solo Careers and have several videos out. I highly suggest checking them out at some point.

They were busking in Brighton, where you can busk without aquiring a license. The city council expressly welcomes musicians to busk in the district. Had to look that up myself. There's even a YT video about 'Busking in Brighton' that shows some of the places Ren and The Big Push played at.

That was in Brighton. There is a lot more Ren busking material on you tube. With the Big Push, Chinchilla, various others and also on his own. This Brighton busking scene looks to have been amazing for a period. I wish I’d known and gone down there to partake. Anyway, for a completely different view of the Big Push. I’d recommend both Swan Song and Bongo Bong. Neither are busking but they are superb.

Such an iconic performance to a true classic, great choice and reaction. Loads more of The Big Push beauties out there! On a street in my home city Brighton, a true busking session. Romain and Gorran are incredible artists with their own channels, Glenn the drummer is of course an essential part of the sound.

Put it this way when they busked they had quite the following there is a recording for Ren doing the tales on the streets in Brighton late at night and the crowd was quite big.

Excellent reaction! The Big Crush - I see love in your eyes Swifty! Busking is Rens' roots - It's where he started, always loved it, and still misses it. There's plenty of early stuff online of Ren busking solo or with one other - equally brilliant. (The 2nd guitar is Romain Axisa - he and Ren shared a flat together for years. Romains' latest album is very different, but really good stuff). "Genesis" (another one-take on the streets of Brighton) is a really good song that I don't think you've reacted to.

Until very recently, nearly all of Ren's videos/performances in his back catalogue and those of the Big Push and his other collaborations, were shot in Brighton, on the South Coast of England. The place that Ren calls his hometown and where he's lived for most of his adult life. It's got quite a bohemian atmosphere, a large gay population and a lot of 'creatives' call home. Brighton also has Britain's only Green Party MP (Member of Parliament). Gives you an idea of the place. :)
