Sundown is amazing for doing this RMA Process on a yard sale item when they didnt need to. this video is meant to highlight how amazing sundown is as a company. if your not familiar with the yard sale you are purchasing product that you know is a trade in, qc fail or a b stock item. you know that when you buy, its a risk its a gamble.

I did a only a $99 one and Sundown sent me a 8 inch X V.3!!!!! I'mma throw the little beast in my daughter's Camry as her very first system!! A lil parallel 6th order and I bet I can get it out pounding most 10's!! Love Sundown, you sure don't see DC, DD, ETC ETC doing a badass yard sale and the surprise me's oh nooooo.... that's what up Sundown you show them all what up yet again and again!!!! 😁👍

I love how good sundown is. They told me specifically when I buy from yard sale. No matter what it is to check it when I receive it and that I have 24 hours to send it back. Always do a pop test with the 9 V battery and if it doesn't pop test, call them immediately. And get the return started, and there's never been an issue. I buy from yard sale everytime I buy from sundown

I mean it’s one thing to send out sub with a flaw that’s fixable. But, a sub with a motor that wasn’t magnetized, can’t easily be fixed by any joe. So, seems this would be the one exception I’d say to return a yard sale item.

Well they guarantee the item is worth what you paid or more... A non working sub isn't worth $499 so they kinda had to by their own rules

@@ThisGuyDrives I mean I can only assume the reason it was in the yard sales because it didn't work in the first place. So that means either send out a lot of defective subs that don't get magnetized or they knew it was broken and they're going to send it to him knowing it was broken. I mean sure if I got $1,000 sub that had a bad voice coil I'd be disappointed, but it's fixable. A non-magnetized motor is obviously something they would have to replace since nobody can magnetize it except one of probably 10 companies in the US

This is one situation that use customers can not fix. No one has a magnetizer except for sundown and other large companies lol. 👌 for them to do this for you

I just bought 2 $60 surprise me and received 2 little beast sa-8 v. 3 D4. I haven't tried them out yet but watching this video makes me like them even more. This is my first time trying sundown audio,

sundown is one of the best companies out there!

It's other videos of Sundown subs not being magnetized. Just do a simple KZread search. So I would say it's more then 1 out of 100,000. I don't know how they can keep forgetting to magnetizes some of their subs. It seems like a process that's hard to miss

It’s human nature to make mistakes. Put that number into a percentage and you’ll see just how low of a chance that is

I doubt they knew it wasn't magnetized. They have a magnetizer and would have just fixed it before it went out. It was probably a return item with the vague doesn't work description and was thrown into the pile. Before sending it out I'm sure they checked it with a multimeter like you and figured it was fine.

Well everything from the yard sale is a manufacture defect of some sort. But they always say it will be usable one way or another. This unfortunately is something unrepairable by a normal person.

They magnetize their own motors so they will probably just magnetize it and send it back to you. But agreed Sundown is an awesome company.

they only use the bolt down spiders when in a mass production environment. when they hand build them in NC then they dont feel the need to use it since they know the quality is legit.

Doubtful they will send a "new" one. But I don't think it will be the same one. And like I said maybe it will be a new surprise maybe they will just send another zv5 or maybe they will magnetize it and send it back. Not sure

@@AntonJMiller Maybe you got lucky, but I don't agree with you calling them Amazing. I bought 2 sa15s years ago on Black Friday, and they were totally different from the ones I already had. They had came with thin paper flimsy paper cones, and didn't even match the picture in the ad. They were brand new and Sundown didn't take them back. I was already running 2 sa15s, but the other ones are nib collecting dust. I ended up getting 4 Soundqubed hdc3 15s later on, and still have the 4 mismatch Sundowns collecting dust.

The magnets were too close during shipping the weaker sub stole the big guys soul!!!

Flaws is not the same as Non Functioning Gear.

Hcca smokes any sundown period. Watch big d destroy sundown with an orion hcca and amp dynos.
