This is the type of behavior that makes mothers not want to be mothers. Very thankless job, and if you don't get the same consideration you put in, makes you feel invisible. Personally, I wouldn't cook for a week. But I'm petty.

I like what you've suggested, not cooking for a week. She spent hours deep cleaning the house, then 1:45 cooking and her husband couldn't make a plate for her? Yea, he would be going hungry for a week.

@@moxee33but it’ll hurt his pride to know that his wife won’t longer take the time to prepare him food, he seems entitled enough to mindlessly eat and give away her food. she takes the time to clean and cook what he asks her to, so he’s probably used to the treatment so taking it away is going to be something he’s kind of destined to notice.

NTA Who tf does the husband think he is? If you want to give YOUR child some of the food to try, give her yours. You also don't get to shout when you are the one who messed up. Wanna play the good samaritan? Do something that is an inconvenience to you, not others

Doesn't matter how long you took. Everyone gets two. And after everyone has eaten or put food aside then you eat whats left. It's common sense, and basic respect. And if you forget you own up to it. No one is perfect, it happens. We had a big family. Everyone gets some. Don't waste it and don't eat others plates unless they are done.
