Little fun fact on that matter: it is convention to use a variable that can hold up to 255 characters for this kind of input. If i counted right matt only put in 180 chars...so we stopped far from "unlimited" :(

One theory about why strawberries are called strawberries is because they were generally covered in straw over the winter and early spring. It kept them warm and frost free. So by the time early summer came along, you would see bright green leaves and red berries popping out of the straw. It may also be a corruption of an old English word meaning "strewn berry" as you could find wild strawberries as if strewn about the ground.

Interesting. Thanks. I think your second analogy is more appropriate. The word "straw" in this case may have it's history in an Old English word "streaw" meaning "rare" and the foundation of the word "strewn" , as you point out, meaning randomly and sparsely scattered about.

also, whichever its etymology, at least here in Canada the pronunciation is very clearly "straw berry." This isn't French, vowels are voiced.

​@@Friendly_Neighborhood_Dozer Pronounced exactly the same as "straw". It's like the Old English word "gail" which we spell "jail" ; it's pronounced the same but the old form had a much broader meaning or slightly different meaning than we understand today.

its an engineer move 70 and 72 are close enough . PI = 3 too big because 10>9 , its too big in one of the sides to fit, not in area

People who don’t know what “doing a Josh” is are missing out. Interesting game too where the zombies can be cured instead of just machine-gunned.

You can always rely on RCE to brighten your day through experimental bio-engineering and a questionable mix of zombie cures

I like how cute all this is and the scientists seem really out of their depth, chopping wood, cowering in front of the zombies... but they'll get the job done, I'm sure. They got the spirit. :)

I've played a similar game like this on the mobile phone, but unfortunately it was an Idle game, not what I was hoping for. This is refreshing to know a proper game about curing zombies is around the corner, with no Ads this time! Bring on the gameplay, I can't wait to see how this game is done.

Wasn't overly impressed coming in but the room sizing/ auto rooms are intuitive and the cure mechanic to strengthen your numbers is cool. Would like to see more

The growth of this channel is insane. Seems like only a couple weeks ago RCE was apologizing because the 250k subscriber special was late

I know you rarely do full on series but I'd love to see this one become a series, I'd love to play it myself but my PC went full Architect and stopped working. (I think it's the PSU, trying to contact my local repair bloke is a nightmare.)

What's wrong with it? Once mine stopped working and it turned out to be the PSU power cable not the unit itself. But if it's not turning on at all yeah probably PSU. If it's in a boot loop could also be RAM/CPU/Motherboard. Hope you get contact with him soon and get it fixed though!!

@@ayyorta Not booting at all and when I press the power button the button sparks and so does the PSU. (Small, brief, white spark with a high pitched noise. Just hoping it hasn't fried anything.)

As a former horticulturist, I could explain about the extremely interesting morphology of strawberries. Suffice it to say that they gave a very unique fruiting method and their name fits perfectly.

Let's see more of this. The graphics are a bit "cutesy", but the premise of the game is refreshing after years of games of slaughtering as many zombies as possible. The developer may be trying to make a youth friendly game. More power to them if they can make a kid appropriate game that is intriguing and challenging for adults, too. To be honest, so far you aren't actually curing the "walking dead" you are enslaving them by controlling what's left of their brains.
