I ❤️ Roti Canai! The BEST Kuala Lumpur Street Food
I think I've found my favorite breakfast in Southeast Asia, and it's located in Kuala Lumpur at a place called Mansion Tea Stall. Here they are serving up an Indian breakfast dish called roti banjir, a type of roti canai. Roti canai is an Indian flatbread dish found in several countries in Southeast Asia, especially in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Brunei. Somehow I've never seen in it Indonesia, but Zul took to me to this place today and damn, is it good. So good that I had to order two orders, and go back the next two days lol.
This place was magical, I hope I can find it in Indonesia somewhere.

It's funny to see the comments here from some Indonesians who think that they own Nick and that he only needs to make content about Indonesia, like let the man be and create content wherever he wants.

Roti canai banjir is a food mixture between malaysian 3biggest races; Malay for the sambal, Indian for the roti canai&dhal/curry, Chinese for the kopitiam half boiled egg.

Somehow this is the best place for roti canai. What you had is 'special banjir' version. Banjir means flooding. Flooding with curries and top with two soft boils eggs which I never had. Malaysia is a food paradise. It is in the middle of spice trade. Mix food between India/Arab and China. Wait till you listen to traditional music. It is amazing.

Especially when I see that runny yolk (drooling as we speak). Note to self: never watch your videos this early in the am because I know what’ll happen. Anyway, keep doing your thing and cheers bud!
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video. Roti canai, paired with teh tarik, is one of d best street food in Malaysia, a real big value for money. Good start for d day exploration.

It’s good start you learn bahasa in indonesia first, that how you adapt with local language by forceful for nine months. Because indonesian care less about bahasa inggeris and that how you can speak with bahasa malaysia later on. Every tourists here in Malaysia felt easy going because every malaysian almost all of them spoke acceptable english in their life.
If you can survive eating that unscathed, you can survive anything.
