Nice! I trailered my Indian Scout to Sturgis for my first time there in 2020. The wife would not ride from NC. Still had a great time and did plenty of rides around the area, seeing all the sights. I hope to go back again, but maybe ride out by myself next time. Thanks for the video. I recognized a lot of the roads you were on. Cheers!

Kills me when people think a Scout 60 is some 'commuter bike'...it is built similar, with similar horsepower, to older Harley Fat Bobs...and people have driven them across the continent! Of course, when most people reviewing Indian bikes are Harley guys and Rice Rocket pilots, then you have to take whatever they say with a BIG grain of salt!

As a Chicagoan, Do Not Go Through Chicago on a bike. Take 80 west to 355 North instead. Yes 355 is a toll road, but it’s well Mai trained and flows. It’s a longer route, but it will go faster, and is more enjoyable if you have to do highway. It will also take you to 14 which will take you all the way to Sturgis if you like. When you cross the bridge from La Crosse to Minnesota is my favorite part of the trip to Sturgis on 90. There is a great food spot on the LaCrosse side called the Crossroads Bar and Grill.

Really nice video. I liked the way you took your time averaging a little over 500 miles per day. Biggest problem I’ve had with a few of the people I’ve ridden with is they push between 800-1000 miles in a day, it wasn’t enjoyable. And stopping every 100 miles or is about perfect to stretch out if you ask me. Makes me want to take a road trip.

There is a cool stop just before Wall Drug that isn't really advertised, you almost have to be looking for the sign. At mile marker 116 there is a preserved missile silo with a disarmed missile inside. They have the huge hatch pushed halfway back and windows over the opening. In the summer there is usually a retired Air Force missileer that will explain what all you are looking at.Good for a quick leg stretch.

Hi. Love the video, thanks. Thinking of getting a Scout 60 or Scout. There's a great s60 for sale at my local shop with only 5500 km on it for a good price. One question, can you tell me what is your bike's configuration? I'm looking at getting floorboard, 24" windscreen, their hard luggage and highway bars. I'm thinking about the heated grips and Stage 1 exhaust as well. Thanks again for the great video.
