I think your 9c8c hand in the Straddle would have worked better as a 3-bet against the SB’s range of a 2-bet over a limp. It also is a nice play because of the dead money in the middle. In this case, Seinfeld likely would have folded his ATo preflop - and if not, perhaps would have folded to a flop-turn double barrel.

one of my favorite hands is T/7 suited spades for some reason. and then a hand that looks absolutely horrendous J/4 s or J/4 off i've had tremendous luck with both for some reason. with that said, i think i've won pocket 5's less than i can count on ONE hand out of several hundreds of thousands of hands... at this point if i see pocket 5s, if no one raises pre-flop i just let it play out. if it doesn't get too high i'll play it out just to show people i lose 99.67% of the time.
