    I really like a lot of these changes, but I really don’t like the Loki 2 change. I think you should push more towards his stealthy assassin type play style rather than a dumbed down solo Loki play style. Maybe something to do with an ACTUAL decoy somewhat similar to the Morrigan to try a more mental deception that hasn’t really been introduced to smite that could be cool in smite 2. He doesn’t really need some kind of wave clear since his new 3 has provided Loki a better buff clear and a decent minion clear.

    Also, taking neith’s passive detonate away takes a lot of flow from the current kit in smite 2. Neith is one of the more enjoyable gods in smite 2, and making the passive a steroid you have to move to pick up is less fluid than how her kit combos feel now. A change I would think is cool and provides more reward for skill is to not have her ult lock on and rather have it as a fast moving projectile that still stuns. Obviously this is a nerf, but it is a lot less dumbed down than how it is now. And frankly, having her ult a basically guaranteed hit with full intel hits a little too strong.

    i dont like the loki vanish changes. 3 seconds and 25% speed is impossible to gank any good players with any audio, i havent playtested loki vanish in smite 2 but if still makes noise like in smite 1, that nerf would be disgusting, i would rather they remove the penta invis mechanic than gut the ability it self. fighting good players already they are aware of lokis 1 vanish sound and will auto attack the air or put mage spells near them making it very hard to gank them, but i would enjoy any good taunt change or tricksterish change on the 2, speaking as a loki main

    You really went back and got Odin's original passive for his 2. I love it! I'm an Odin main and have always wanted him to have an almost full rework to be more lore accurate. Honestly I've always wished he was a stance swapper, between his warrior form and a wanderer form that would focus on mobility and utility. And yeah, them taking the rune stacks off his ult bugged me. That was one of the only lore accurate parts of his kit. Plus, in Smite 2 they could give him strength And Intelligence which fits the idea of runes so much better.

    We love you mast thank you for the amazing effort, dedication, and passion you have for both smite 1 and smite 2. I really hope Hi-Rez listens because a lot of your ideas are really awesome. They don’t exactly have to copy everything you say but if they even listen a little bit or take some of your ideas and put their own creative twist on them. Hell even if they don’t listen to a single thing you say I hope they at least understand the importance of adding new things or changing stuff around in each and every gods kit so that they feel fresh and fun to play with in smite 2. So far I think they have done a good job but they need to keep pushing so thank you again Mast for your efforts, each and every member of the smite community appreciates what you are doing ❤

    for zeus I like the idea of his 1 going through minions but I think it would kind of erase the whole chain aspect of his 1. It should just be half of the targeter of his 1 that goes through minions, and the other half just behaves like a normal chain lighning. It would fix the problem of his lane clear while still having the opportunity to bounce off the 1 from minions to the God you are targeting.

    Hear me out, Maybe it would be fun to change Bacchus's 1 into this. After you use your ultimate, if you are above 80% on the meter, bacchus himself also gets intoxicated for the next 10 sec. While he is intoxicated his next basic attack gains a special animation (like a drunk slam) and deals additional bonus damage in an aoe cone in front of him (the damage would either be a bit higher for a conventional tank or apply some sort of debuff) ending the intoxication on him early. While this effect is still active, you can use your chug ability to reapply the intoxication on yourself again to gain another special basic attack. OHH, or the basic attack could apply a taunt effect instead of extra damage, as he is an annoying drunk god taunting people loll

    in regards to fenrir. I had a similar idea a while ago to make his 3 require recasting each time to a) allow more flexibility in when you use it, b) giving fenrir brief immunity frames which his current brutalize doesn't seem to have and c) requiring more skill to actually follow dashes well still giving him that capability if he predicts it (or gets lucky) and d) just make it less brainless to use and require the player to have to do more than just press 3. With Hades, i think the simple way to balance the ult would be to remove the damage on his 3 when in ult and instead focus on the healing aspect as this would prevent him from having the truly absurd amount of burst damage he has currently with being able to use his 3 twice while still having them enemy inside his ult (gets even more absurd if you have myrddin). With his 1, I didn't know it even had the damage component but definitely just remove that, and with the 2 I would make it a silence but not a fear, so that it can still serve the purpose of preventing people from immediately jumping or ulting out, but not prevent them from auto attacking. With odin getting extra vision, I would concerned about him basically ungankable as he would always get advanced warning without even needing wards, then can just jump and cage away before being in any danger. I think making it require Odin to be more proactive by for example marking a specific area for the ravens to surveil for as long as the Odin wants while preventing him from using his 2 for the whole time would be good as he would have to choose between having any lane pressure at all and being able to easily avoid ganks. Not sure how exactly that could be worked into your current iteration of the ability but I'm sure there's a way. For Ymir frostbite I would say instead of completely removing it with 1 auto, simply change it to increase from landing abilities and decrease it from landing autos. For example, each ability increases it by 50% and each auto reduces it by 20%. The effects of frostbite scale up the more it is stacked on them, so getting them 100% frostbited would mean your next auto absolutely smacks them for double damage but also reduces the frostbite, meaning the next autos do less and less the more you land. Because you have 4 abilities that can all increase the frostbite, you can sorta keep the frostbite around 100% if you are timing the abilities but not if you are doing the standard 1 3 2 combo followed by a bunch of autos. He would also probably need a passive meter similar to Baron passive next to the enemy god's nametag to keep track of this. Hopefully this would allow him to keep the potential for chunky autos while preventing him from being OP. also with zeus you can currently use the 2 to clear which is better than chain lightning because it hits all the minions and is faster and gives him attack speed, but is also a little less safe. On a general note, I know you and other people have advocated for reducing cc across the board both in frequency (how many abilities have cc) and duration of the cc, but it is still unclear to me how the frequency of cc would be reduced in any meaningful way while still keeping the gods feeling the same. If I'm not mistaken, you did not actually remove cc from any god here (and actually added it to a few), so it seems to me that we sorta just have to live with most gods having cc on their abilities because there just isn't a way to change it without seriously affecting the feel of most gods. Also for bacchus I would recommend playing him with a full strength auto attack build so late game when autoing you become a beyblade, as this is day 333 of asking on behalf of that other for the build.

    I think one thing about Athena that makes her pretty boring is that she lacks a significant skill ceiling due to how her abilities are structured. I used to really love playing her a lot but once you get to a certain point, there's not a whole lot more to learn and improve on. Passive is nothing special although it's pretty fun trying to land attacks with Polynomicon or trying to secure a kill using Reach. First ability is pretty much just a dash with a windup. Nothing special really, it does decent damage and you can be cancelled out of it though. Second ability is literally just a cone-shaped CC ability. Pretty much always combos with your 3rd ability. Very difficult to miss. Third ability is literally just an AOE damage ability with a bit of a slow. Pretty much always combos with your taunt. Easy to land especially considering how effective the taunt is. Fourth ability actually takes a bit of decision making, timing, communication, etc. to get value from it, but it also doesn't require any significant mechanical skill. Early game where your taunt isn't fully leveled? Use your 3rd ability on top of the enemy then taunt them back into it. Later into the game where your taunt is leveled and has a longer duration? You can reliably taunt before your third ability so your CC is more reliable and you use your 3rd ability after. That's pretty much it. Taunt and Shield Wall, use your dash to get around or get in. Ultimate to get back into the fight with full HP or to allow your teammate to eat a shit ton of damage or go in with them. But overall the skill ceiling for Athena is pretty severely lacking.

    Really great changes overall! Some I don't really agree with/like personally but they're all well thought out. I dunno why but the Frostbite change for Ymir stands out the most for me, makes sense and sounds like it'd be a cool change. It would probably make crit Ymir less funny though lmao but hey stuff happens. Then again, imagine Poly/Hydra's Ymir kinda replacing that...

    One Idea I had for Athena that would increase her skill ceiling is have her 1 change her abilities. So, she charges up like normal, but then you can press 1 again to dash or press her 2 or 3 to use different abilities. I don't know what her alternate 2 could do. Piggybacking off your idea, her alternate 3 could grant a team shield or something Maybe their shields explode and do damage or something. Maybe she could provides/transfers a couple block stacks to the god with the lowest HP. Using any of the alternate abilities puts the 1 on cooldown, so she can still taunt and 3 like normal.

    i reworked ra and poseidon: =D Ra can charge all the skills to add power (thats it xd) because a growing sun appears on his head infusing him with more and more vitamin D. (sun has charges!?!) Poseidon can ride his 1 if casts it close to himself, while riding it the wave grows in power and size as it goes, his 2 should have 2 projectiles instead of 3 but he marks the targets he hits and a pool of sharks appears under their feets ... every hit applies a sardine on the head of the target, every 2 sardines (up to 6) that are on the target makes the shark pool grow and 1 of 3 sharks comes out at the end (Hammerhead, great white, whale shark) damaging in a Aoe, 3: poseidon can jump into his 3 pool for 1 second and drains it as he comes out automatically, to do so he must casts it on himself at first and then re activate it before it disappears... he has a timer on the skillbar that indicates the pool lifetime... additionally as he casts the pool on himself a octopus holding a timer counting down the pool lifetime appears next to the pool so everyone can see it, the octopus is all sweaty and terrified poseidon can die. 4: Release the KRAKEN

    My flight is in abit so I'm just gonna yap about the changes proposed. 1. Athena: Changes to 1 and 3 seem very cool. Maybe even push her 1 even more by giving AS to really facilitate being aggressive. 2. Anhur: Think the changes are unnecessary. He doesn't really need area damage and I'm afraid the vortex might be too strong. 3. Anubis: Really like the 3 change, really dont like the 1 change. I think seeing him breathe out locusts just goes so hard and too iconic to change. A few adjustments here and could probably achieve the same goal without reworking his 1 and 3 completely. Also I think the ult should just have the damaging area around it by default every time you use it. I dont really see the purpose of it being something you have to activate while in ult. 4. Bacchus: I would've loved this change in S1 but since they put a poly proc effect on his 1, I think that warrants it being a standalone ability. 5. Bellona: Nothing to really say here. 6. Cernunnos: Very cool changes, would love to see this implemented. 7. Chaac: Ngl, kinda dissociated here and I dont really care about this guy. So, nothing to say. 8. Fenrir: Absolutely love the 3 rework, I think it requires more skill which is nice. Really dont like the ult rework tho, I think adjustments could be done to make the ult more balanced/healthy. Maybe, reduce the grab time significantly but increase the damage/ms and if you get a kill with the ult, it'll refund like 50% of the CD. Just spitballing 9. Hades: Nothing to say. 10. Kukulkan: Eh, kinda like the dash as is. I see it less as self peel and more or a "last ditch effort" to kill someone diving you. 11. Loki: Nothing to say. 12. Neith: Nothing to say. 13. Odin: I'll be the first to say I kinda like his kit as it, I dont think it needs major changes. I think a change that could done is maybe have a raven swarm around you when you use your shield that does dot damage. I think it would help separate his 2 and 1 enough so they dont feel like 1 ability. 14. Sol: Seems cool. Don't know about not getting incorp if you're not full heat tho. 15. Ymir: Nothing to say. 16. Zues: Seems cool, nothing to really add. All in all, this seemed like a pretty decent cooking session. Hopefully the devs see this and add at least abit of what was mentioned. At the very least, I think they will watch this video. Much love mast, was a nice watch ❤️

    I like the fenrir changes to brutalize but if he only has two seconds and has to hit a target to use it again it feels like it turns into an auto cancel ability with the same issues of current brutalize on the enemy side. I think it's better to give him charges to the brutalize similar to pele 1. That way you can use it for mobility or damage as you intended but without the need to hit a target. Also, have it reduce cd of the next charge if using it for mobility and no targets were hit. The brutalize can also hit twice instead of 4 times per charge.

    What if for sol passive since it revolves around heat, what if she got a mini mystical mail passive that did like 3 true damage every .33 seconds but only when she is at full heat? The range could be something very short too like 33% the distance of a ranged basic. Thematically she’s supposed to be a supernova or a sun and she’s putting off heat so to me it makes sense

    “ooooo” “OOOOOO!!!!” Edit after watching: I loved a lot of these, tbh a lot of videos in this style bum me out more than anything since they're full of sick ideas that i know HiRez won't follow through on, but at the same time I'm hopeful since they do very very clearly listen to your input, I'm sure they have some intern watching this and just scribbling notes down as we speak. Personal favorite changes are Odin (can tell you're quite a nerd with his lore and put a lot of thought into it), Chaac (the teleporting ult change sounds sick!) and Cern, and your new Sol sounds a lot of fun and will mean we (ya know, the filthy Sol mains you called out) get more use out of the kit instead of her 1 being an ability used almost entirely for heat late game, and the change to the 3 is also interesting and I too don't like how it feels as is so I'm open to any kind of change to that. Absolutely love you putting out videos like this, and it sounds like you enjoyed making it, so keep at it dude!

    Personally, as an avid Chaac enjoyer, i like the changes for him, but im nit entirely sure abiut the ult tp to his 1. Given his 1 would be even faster to land, unless maybe extending the 1 range, it feels like it would be too quick qnd most players woukdnt be able to utilize it. Maybe instead, have the 1 have further rsnge, smaller aoe, and so you get dmg from 1, but then you can ult, tping chaac to his axe, but also putting his 2 on cooldown, so using the 2 to tp, but not getting the dmg from it. Idk might just feel better than having to eatch his 1 before it lands to tp with his ult

    i'm at bacchus so far, personally i don't like the idea that he loses his passive and the ability to stun just because he ulted, yeah thematically it's amazing but gameplay wise it would feel so terrible Edit: i dislike the suggested changes to fenrir, he loses his protection and his kit takes longer to land he'll feel miserable to play, and him countering he bo and characters having hard counters is a fun aspect of MOBAs

    I think it would make Fenrir way more satisfying to play because he'd have so much more flexibility in his kit. I like counter picks, I just think Fenrir gets to counter too hard without any thought process to it.

    Chaac could also create a kinda little zeus ult by throwing his axe to a location, casting his 3 to let the rain fall and recast his 1 into the rain to get "thunder and storm".

    Damn, that's a really cool change actually his 1 + 3 combo feels underwhelming a lot of the time and he doesn't have any other damage over time abilities like that. They could make the rain only fall at the axe location too to make it less op

    I think the Bacchus Ult change is a terrible idea. Why would I want to use my ult if I lose the ability to keep the drunk meter up? You can't stun with his belch or slow with his belly flop unless smashed.

    Smite is weird. The best ability to "push" enemies ist Tyr 1, and it is not like one would think: a strong warrior who has a shield and pushes the enemies away. No! It is a serie of sword strokes....

    I love all of the changes (the best being Odin by far) but I have to disagree with Loki 2. Split push solo Loki shouldn't return in any form. I agree his 2 needs something else to it but it shouldn't be taunting minions again.

    Mast knows this probably wont get the average amount of views we typically see. I for one, like these theory crafting videos that are a nice change in pace. I hope some Smite dev(unlikely) sees and takes some of the ideas into consideration.
