I tried driving this earlier today bec of this review. I told the chery driver na concern ko is uphill so dinala nya ako sa steep incline and asked me to stop sa gitna ng ahon to check if mahihirapan. Honestly no problem naman considering 5 kami sa car. Appreciate this review but if you seriously considering to buy this car try nyo test drive kasi i think kanya kanya tayo ng driving style and habit. I fell in love more sa kotseng to...cant wait na makuha ko yun sa kin :)

from your stop sa steep incline, kinailangan niyo pa ba siya i-put to manual mode, set to low gear, and turn off AC para maka-akyat siya?

@@angelozeruel22 Sir, I tried it in a steep incline with 4 passengers including myself. What I did was, stop in the middle, put it in Auto hold then stepped on gas. I didn't use manual mode nor turned off ac. Wala naman pong naging problema. Umahon naman sya ng swabe. I suggest sir you request for a test drive to experience it first hand.

Hi. Kamusta tiggo 5x mo now? Makuha ko na sakin this week. And napanood ko to. And bigla ako nagdalawang isip dahil sa steep/inclined issue nya. Bakit kaya dito sa video na to kinapos sya.

I think the reason for shutting off the engine and the door is still in locked condition when you enters the vehicle is for safety....the vehicle is making sure that the driver carries the smart key inside the vehicle..if you don't have the key you can't restart the engine and you are not able to open the door also.

I have a Mercedes GLE 43 Coupe does the same. It turns off the engine when i open the door. I guessed that is the reason you memtioned.

what's the use of the immobilizer then? lol. The engine turning off after unlocking the car after a remote start is just stupid and lazily designed. The tiggo 7 Pro does not automatically shut off after unlocking the car after a remote start fyi.

With regards to the said "quirk" of the remote start feature, That's actually a security feature of the tiggo 5x to avoid other people from entering the vehicle & when you sometimes accidentally press the buttons of your keyfob in your pocket. Try remote-starting the engine just within 1 foot away from the car, that should work and engine won't die when you unlock it. Or try press & hold lock-unlock button for 3 secs. when you're more than a foot away from the vehicle, that should do the trick.

It needs a turbo and better transmission tuning. The Tiggo8 and Tiggo7 had the same 1.5L engine but with turbo, both had no issues going up the steep ramp.

I bought mid variant CVT. And it really is not like your conventional AT. CVT has always beem known for their lag when you hit that accelerator, but once it gets going the power will be there. I just dont understand why he is having issue in inclined, I used it and got no issue.

I really dont like CVTs they can be pretty unreliable,uninspiring and i hate how they simulate fake gears. I just hope car manufacturers find a way to make the regular auto trans have CVT level of fuel efficiency or offer them in manual as well

totally wrong... nakakaakyat nga sa talisay to tagaytay road na sobrang steep with multiple twist and turns dyan pa kaya sa parking lot mo.. hindi ka lng ata marunong mag drive paahon.. nasa driver na yan wala sa sasakyan.. medyo questionable ata reviews mo..
