Before I worked at my local, the employees and managers said “The animatronic will be used for parts.” I then saw the dumpster and curiosity took over. I am proud to say that I saved my local Studio C, but it’s ridiculous how we have to lie about where they went. I have had many kids come up to me wondering where the robot went, and I have to say “He’s sleeping.” It’s heartbreaking how they don’t know what actually happened.

My heart dropped when I saw that bare character wall, it's a huge bummer...

Honestly with your statement at the end, I feel like they are embarrassed to say the actual reason why they are gone and where they are now. Because I think that CEC knows that this is a really dumb decision they’ve made. So what I’m thinking is CEC corporate gave all the employees of every CEC to say “they are going to a museum” when someone asks where are the animatronics now. I was told this once and now I completely believe that the museum rumor is 100% false.

That’s awful, I was gonna make a trip out to this stage before it was too late. So sad to see another 3-Stage gone, especially considering these were the oldest Rockafire bots still standing at CEC… 😞

Its sad that all this history is going to be gone soon... Don't know if you heard but the Northridge CEC got its 2.0 remodel earlier this month. They tore out the showroom wall, took out all the unique 80s decor, and of course took out the stage. I agree with your thoughts about what the employees said about the show being destroyed. One by one, these iconic signs of 80s and 90s nostalgia, being destroyed. I'm so glad my local CEC's 3-stage didn't suffer this worse fate.

They didn't take out the stage, they got rid of about 2 sets of tables and put the dance floor in the middle. I talked to the manager when I came yesterday and he said as of now they don't have to get rid of them.

i remember when they changed this location to CEC from showbiz. back then, i wondered what happened to the bear. I sure won't be taking my kids there now that the band is gone but the smell will remain in my memories forever lol. Also miss a place we had called kidzone

i actually went to this chuck-e-cheese as a kid. i think i was.. 6 or 7. at that point in my life alot was going on, my dad was either just about to be deployed or he was already deployed. i was being mistreated at school and struggling to bond with other kids. in my child brain, i had only one place that was safe, home. until i went to this chuck-e-cheese. i had a blast, but don't remember much of it since i've been through more trauma and aged, but i remember being in awe of the animatronics. i knew they were robots but i was still fascinated by them. i remember sitting at the table, eating my pizza and drinking my drink, and i couldn't take my eyes off them. i never got up close to them though since i was a little wary of them. i also remember standing at the prize counter with my handful of tickets and being a little bummed out i didn't get many. nonetheless, i was still happy because i got a rubber duck and a plastic cup to hold my coins in. i might've got a coin and came home with a few extra tickets too? not sure. i still have the cup, but i sadly don't know where the rubber duck is. it makes me sad just thinking about how the only piece of those memories i have left is a plastic cup. i can understand wanting to swap out the old for something new, but the least they could've done was put the animatronics on sale, or raffle them off, or auction them off and maybe donate the proceeds to charity too. literally anything would've been better than destroying them. shout-out to the people working to revive the animatronics, you are keeping a part of my already very scattered childhood alive. it means a lot to me.

When I used to live in Jacksonville,fl until 2011 before I moved to Orlando and now I live in stuart,fl. Whenever I would take my car at tire kingdom, while I wait for my car to finish, I would walk over to Chuck e cheese to dine in and watch the animatronic shows while I ate my meal and would stay there until they called me letting me know that my car was done.

If you get the chance to swing by Huntsville, Alabama again, I’d love to see a tour of their remodel! Though it would be quite saddening, there hasn’t been any footage of it yet and the location is very special to me :)

It’s so sad Chuck E. Cheese is taking away history I don’t care how bad they are

I was able to talk to someone high up at Chuck E Cheese this last week and I was able to confirm this fact to be 100% true and I also found out that there were two other stages that were saved but I can't say which one's 🙂

I was able to visit the Tallahassee, FL 3-stage at the end of May. I can’t help but wonder if they have remodeled yet. It was so vintage in there, and the showroom was packed with birthday parties. You don’t really see that at the 2.0 locations

So Tallahassee is my local, and I can tell you that from what I’ve heard the remodel has been pushed back again. This happened last year as well, and I’m not sure why it keeps happening but apparently the building is so old (it’s within a shopping center ofc) that it takes more time to get it remodeled. The remodel was supposed to start today but they haven’t begun yet tmk. I don’t know how far back the remodel is being pushed because considering how some stores seemingly remodel out from under our noses, take what I say with a grain of salt.

I remember spending hours with the coin operated train set at CEC. They usually had a MTH rail king engine and a car or two with it on a set of O scale 3 rail track. Im sure you know all the rest of the details and have seen them before! Lol

Hey. I saw a couple comments on KZread on Multiple videos saying that at the Northridge, California location that they are going to keep the animatronics even through the remodel. I don't know if they are lying but they are really deep into the remodel and the animatronics are still not taken out. So I have hope that thats actually gonna be true.

Seeing that is so depressing..I'm pretty sure I've seen a 3 Stage once in my life, and what I'll never understand is why get rid of the animatronics? Especially with how popular FNAF has been for almost 10 years now, you would think that somehow they could spruce up the animatronics and make them like new since there's probably new people that are interested in them because of the series. Maybe even use the technology that Disney used for the animatronics in the Rise of Resistance. I want to take my niece to CEC and show her what me, my brother, and my sister got to experience when we were growing up when she's a little older but I guess I can't. It is what it is

This is insane! Like, would it be SO HARD for CEC, so PAINFUL to KEEP the animatronics in atleast the locations where they were working well? They could call it "Chuck E Cheese Retro" and have specific locations with either the Cyberamics or the CU bots... They wouldn't be the norm, they would be rare and special....Or even better, you could add the dancefloor in FRONT of the stage, so the kids could dance with the band? It looks so lame just having a small dancefloor in the middle of the place... 😳 This is really infuriating because it's not even about money it seems like (they would make a nice buck off the bots). It's more like they're trying to destroy any evidence of their history, their legacy, and at the same time, destroying ShowBiz history too, when it's these type of animatronics... I think one day soon, maybe not immediately, maybe after the FNAF movie comes out, CEC is gunna be really regretting their soulless decisions.... Even if animatronics are a niche market, those who love them should have some places where they can go see them! 😡 Anyway that's my rant LOL. Really can't believe this....Thankyou so much for being the best at covering these locations and going to so many and filling us in on the history. I know it's alot of effort and alot of gas and hotel costs, but it really means alot to us. It's ironic that videos like these are the only way some of us can see these bots....I wish I had the money to travel and see them 😭 I love hearing your opinion pieces and your ideas on how to bring them back, even if it were in temporary ways, just during a travelling fair or something. I absolutely love those segments, I was trying to figure out which of your videos (from I think a year ago, it might have been a road stage or a rocker stage) speaking about how massive the nostalgia factor is for these animatronics, there is definitely a market if they do it right, and if they don't just disappear entirely... I struggle to find videos like this but I really love your viewpoint, especially when you interview staff or managers - and the Rockafire and CEC collectors are my favourite videos for sure. Love to see people with passion for these things. But I love alot of your different videos and the visual adventure is the main aspect, but if you sprinkle in some opinion pieces here and there, and more interviews, I know I'll love it 😆 I really wanted to know the story of what happened at Scandia in Kelowna BC...Like why they decided to sell the Rockafire, when they sounded pretty commited to restoring it previously 😳

I live in billings mt and i'm glad the 3 stage is still here but probably not for much longer

I was just there before the remodel. It’s like they’re trying to sell the building.

But there was one cool 3 stage location I loved but closed the Wilmington NC because they had the real last munch Jr on stage butt I can't wait to go to Pineville.

I wonder what's going on with the Charlotte, NC location I remember the 3 Stage with Munch Jr, Moon, and Building but I wonder if they still have that location it was very amazing.

The fact that they had the destroyed characters in a few locations (including west Des Moines). were left in the open for people to see them so they knew that they were destroyed, really defeats the purpose of “oh there in a museum” kind of pointless (one example of them being out in the open would be Garden Grove CA,)

What happened it's only been a couple weeks the animatronics are mostly gone my childhood in 2002 and now it's gone I don't really like going to chuxk E cheese any more no animatronics not seeing me in there😭

They're official Policy was written by lawyers that say they don't want the bots to be used by any rival pizza place to be used to further that pizza places brand against Chuck-E-Cheese, or so I've been told. But you can tell by the wording of that how outdated it is because there is no other chain that is even 10th of a percentage the size of CEC. So it's a really ridiculously outdated policy.
