This is much improved. I often take clothing and cut it down to make doll clothes or rag dolls from it. Currently I have two projects I'm gathering fabrics for, with all the fabrics being thrifted clothing. One is a jacket I plan on making using narrow needlecord with a fleece lining and the other is going to be a dress or skirt (or maybe both, and perhaps a vest) using old jeans.

Thank you! Life is good! Pretty much recovered fully from spinal surgery in January. Still trying to not overdo it, so taking sewing projects at a slower pace, or at least trying to! 😃

I'm re-doing a patriotic Union Jack skirt I made a few years ago that didn't drape as nicely as I wanted. It was made using McCalls 7498, but floor length. Still working on it.

Actually I think it's because of Noelle at costuming drama because she pointed out that corsets are 90% straight lines. 😂

I have a really lovely outlander inspired gown and petticoat. Obviously the petticoat I can fix relatively easily, but my beautiful perfectly lined bodice is currently about three sizes too big. I'm gonna have to take the whole thing apart and resize the bodice and it makes me really sad because it was one of the most beautiful linings that I had ever sewn. 😂
