The anti-gravity shortcuts give off heavy Mario Galaxy vibes. (E.g.: MK8DX's Mario Circuit [1:43])

​@@ChaosTheory19935That's the thing, some shortcuts are being like close to falling but don't count as fall, but those are the things lakitu cuts you off for, like cheese land glider where you can straight up go to the left over the cliff and lakitu for some reason cuts you off

I forgot how big the background Toads are until you drove close enough. This mod is dope! I'm glad to see you guys were able to make it work! Sick tricks too. It makes me a little sad that something like this isn't a option for a side game/secret cup or something. It would make racing really chaotic but fun in multiplayer

So you know how Lakitu steals 3 coins from you when you fall off? How about a mod where if you don't have 3 coins for him to take, you just die and have to start the race over

Something about this video and breaking all the boundaries with no Lakitu in the way is so satisfying.

See, this is what I want Mario Kart to be. Please Nintendo, make us an open world Mario Kart game. Maybe it can be something like GTA, i don't know, but we need it. Also, your friend should add to the mod the ability to hit a button and CALL Lakitu to come pick you up, in an emergency. Heck, Nintendo should add that to Mario Kart, normally.

I would love like a combination on this for every track were they would just show the shortcut

You won't hear from them. For legal reasons, this is Nintendo modding- and they shut down AND take down channels that distribute modding content info. This is mostly a emulated software/a jailbroken switch that could load this content on. How this was obtained, it is a paid modder team who set up. So not public

To tweak this mod more, in areas where there is a bottomless pit I would add a barrier where instead of Lakitu picking you up, you'd bounce off thin air but make it so out of bounds shortcuts are still possible

A way you can tell if you're in bounds is if you suddenly go from 12th place, to 1rst. If you go from twelth, to first, that (Probably) means that it counted, so you're safe to head to the finish line!! :D
